What are people saying about Ellis Island

Liberty and Ellis
Rob was fantastic. You can tell his part historian and yet gives part of his personal experiences. The inside to the history of Lady Liberty and Ellis Island was much appreciated. He took his time, went to different focal points and gave us more information at each stop along the way. Friendly, calm, informative, good sense of humor. Only recommendation is you need an extra hour beyond your tour time to actually explore Ellis Island

Marla was great. Very infornative and funny guide. My only issue was with the description of the Express vs. the 4 hour tour. We did the Express and that only included a tour guide at the Statue of Liberty. The 4 hour tour includes a guide at Ellis Island too. Either way you will enjoy the day.

Long lines and long day but very worthwhile tour
There was an hour wait just to get to the ferry. Security was tight and there were crowd of people going on this tour which took a long time to get through security. If you select this tour, plan on 6 or more hours before making it to the ferry from Ellis island back to Battery park!

Great tour and guide
Our tour guide was great. She was very knowledgeable and you could tell by her comments that she loved New York. She was very considerate of the people on the tour, cautioning us to watch our step around construction and crosswalk. She had a wealth of knowledge and stories about Ellis Island and Ground Zero.
