Exceptional city tour.

Best tour of our visit. Our guide, Richard, was phenomenal. We were particularly interested in Katrina and his knowledge and delivery far exceeded our expectations. In addition to that, he was very knowledgeable about everything we saw. He kept us informed before we started and even gave us excellent restaurant suggestions. We ate dinner at the Napoleon House and loved it. Please consider taking this tour as you won't be disappointed. Again, it's Richard with Louisiana TourCompany. Its family owned which was a bonus.

Relaxing City Tour

We had a great experience on the New Orleans City Tour and we booked it last minute! The pickup and drop-off were right on time, which made everything easy and stress-free. Our driver was friendly, engaging, and kept the tour interesting by sharing fun facts and local history throughout the ride. The only minor downside was that the bus was a little warm at times, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Visiting the cemetery and city park were my favorite stops. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the highlights of New Orleans with a knowledgeable and personable guide. Would loved to have seen some of the sites affected most by Katrina as well.

The tour was educational and really helped us to understand that the effects of Katrina are long term and many, if not most, of the people are still struggling to recover from. This plantation tour was both informative and deeply reflective. As a Black woman living in America, I recognize that this museum tells the story of a time that shaped my ancestors’ lives. I felt the museum did an amazing job of honoring the lives and experiences of the enslaved people with dignity and respect. Throughout the tour, there were opportunities to sit, rest, and reflect, which were especially meaningful since some of the exhibits evoked deep emotions. I highly recommend visiting the Whitney Plantation to anyone seeking an honest and impactful look at this important part of American history. The Grey Line bus service also provided a friendly and knowledgeable driver, which made the overall experience even more enjoyable.

Wonderful experience and super fun boat driver! The boats are good, and Oh My and all Of the wildlife! Just a great overall day and don’t be worried about the heat the bayou is very shaded and boats breeze is great! Be sure you come with a fully charged battery— you will want to video and take lots of photos!!!

Great tour must do if you dont want to walk much

I had a lot of fun on this tour. The guide was fun, enjoyable, knowledgeable. We stopped for beignets and they allowed us to bring drinks on the bus. I stopped off at a bar at the meet up point and paid $40 for 2 LARGE RUM PUNCH And it was great!! It held me down the entire tour. Its 10/10!

We were on the bus with Logan & Ellroy and they were awesome we had a family that was very disrespectful to Logan and cussing him out and disrupting the tour. He very professionally ask them to step off that bus but they are more than welcome to get on another bus. It was so professionally the bus erupted with applauds. They really do care that you enjoy the hop on hop off tour. They willing to answer any questions about New Orleans that you ask. The knowledge is amazing and they want you to have fun and feel like you got more than your money worth.

This was my first-ever...

This was my first-ever hop-on hop-off experience, and I had a great time. It honestly set the standard for me, and I’ve since taken similar tours in Barcelona and Buenos Aires. I now see it as a great first stop in any big city abroad. I understand these tours are run by different companies, so the experience can vary depending on things like how clear the pickup points are and whether the tour is guided/narrated or mainly an audio headset experience. The New Orleans tour, in particular, was very informative and full of history, and we really enjoyed using it as a convenient shuttle around the city. It also helped us avoid relying on cabs, which made getting around much easier. One thing to note is that some streets were blocked off due to Mardi Gras preparations, which affected parts of the route. It might be helpful if that was made clearer in the description, especially around seasonal route changes from January through March. Overall, a really enjoyable and practical way to explore the city, and I would recommend it.

This tour was SO great!!! Christian was the perfect guide for this. He created the mood for such a tour perfectly. He was hilarious. He was knowledgeable. He kept us safe. He was passionate. You can tell he loves New Orleans and the people (living, dead, or undead) in it! I would go on any tour he gives when in town. The stops were all so fun including Morning Call for the frozen au lait and beignets! Thanks for one of the best, if not THE best of tours I’ve been on during my many visits.
