Excellent Food Tour - excellent guide
Excellent food tour of Memphis. Went to 5 places, and all were delicious. Probably would not have experienced these places if it wasn't for this tour.
Learned a lot about Memphis as well. Good time.
Very enthusiastic guide. Highly recommend this food tour.

A fascinating closer look at Memphis
Our guide Katie was extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of Memphis, which really enriched our appreciation of the city on many levels. She was full of interesting stories about things as varied as Yellow Fever epidemics, musicians, and the history of Mud Island. Extra convenient if you're staying at the Peabody, which we were. Finished up in time for the Duck March. A great walk on a beautiful spring day!

So Much To Do, So Much To See
This was a great way to get to know Memphis. Our tourguide, Shannon, and bussruver, Ms. Princess, were an amazing combo. The Rock 'n' Sould Museum and Riverboats are must sees. Totally satisfied and would go on another tour with the family. There is SO much to do in Memphis.

Don’t Miss This!!
What you should know is…… don’t miss this tour, especially with Darnell!!
The whole day was fantastic, relaxed, fun and revealing! From the moment you step in the vehicle Darnell is gonna hit you with the details and his very charismatic and enthusiastic way!! It’s a good three quarters of a day of nostalgia….. emotional too!
Just do it!!

Charity rocks!!!!
This is an Absolute 💯 Great experience!!!! Charity was our guide and she was a Very Special Young Lady!!!! Not only polite and courteous, she was also very knowledgeable!! I would recommend this experience to everyone who has an interest in horses 🐴!!!! Definitely a 10/10. The retired teacher (I apologize for not getting her name) is also a perfect example of you are never too “old” to get into horses!!! She was also a super lady!!!!

Michelle was the “BOMB”
This was the best guided tour I’ve ever been on!!!! Michelle was absolutely phenomenal!!!! She managed to show us ALOT of in the slotted amount of time. I would book this again and again just for her ! She invited passengers to ask questions and give feedback. She did not sound like she had anything else better to do than be with us!!! Was not a “rehearsed”speech!!! Just to sum it up. AWESOME!!!

Great tour of Memphis!
We really enjoyed our tour of Memphis with Michelle. She was knowledgeable and funny and kept things moving. We saw many sights around the city and she told many stories about characters of the past. We saw the ducks at the Peabody (she gave us tips on the best place to stand), saw Elvis’s wedding jacket at Lansky’s, and had time to walk down Beale St during the downtown portion of the tour. The information on Danny Thomas and the founding of St Jude’s and how it operates today was particularly interesting. We did the Sun Studio tour as well and it was outstanding! Highly recommend this tour!

Great Tour With Great Tunes!
This is a unique way to see Memphis and experience its history with a live music accompaniment. Our guide Cecil (if my memory is correct) was fun and knowledgable, telling us things about the city that we didn’t learn in the museums. The best part is his musical accompaniment along the way singing and playing blues, rock, country and soul to help paint the picture. Can’t recommend this enough!

Great overview of Memphis
Wonderful knowledgable guide Mary.
Full of enthusiasm and information on the city, the music and the people. Lovely driver Michael too and a cute coach for the tour.
There is a little assumed knowledge about certain people and American culture. Considering most people on the tour were from the US there were a few Brits(myself included) but that did not detract and she was always happy to answer questions. There are quite a few ‘pass bys’ of things to see which is fine on the whole. Start on Beale Strert with a bit of its history and talk about Handy Park. The stops that we made at Millionaires Row, Clayborn Temple ruins and the Lorraine Motel were excellent and a real chance to drink it all in. By pass of St Jude’s hospital, Mississippi River,The Memphis Cotton Exchange, Lauderdale Courts,
Court Square ,The Orpheum Theatre
AutoZone Park Baseball, Shelby County Courthouse, Calvary Episcopal Church
And then a quick bite at Cental BBQ. I would have liked the chance to stop briefly at the river with the paddle steamers for those not adding on the river cruise and also Lauderdale Court to take a few photos.
I think Sun Record Studios should have been on the included on the tour and I walked there afterwards but halfway along Beale Street, past the bars and restaurants the area, I felt, was a bit sketchy and wouldn’t recommend walking that way alone (I was told it was safe to walk). You can’t add on Civil Rights museum and the Rock and Soul Museum, it’s either or.
My time was limited so as I said, walked to Sun Records and back down Union Street to the Peabody Hotel to see the ducks in the fountain and then back to the Rock & Roll museum and paid entry- which is cheaper than adding it into the tour with museum option and you can suit yourself time wise.
Personally, I’d add on either museums separately after the tour if you want to do them.

Fantastic tour! Daniel...
Fantastic tour! Daniel was engaging and informative, and just the right blend of playful and spooky. His love for Memphis shines through, which I truly appreciated as Memphian myself!
I did the tour with my older teens (19 and 16), and they had a great time too. Would definitely recommend!
