We absolutely loved our...
We absolutely loved our dog sledding/glacier adventure! The scenery was beautiful and our pilot made sure we saw all the interesting spots as we flew and during the glacier landing. Our team of sled dogs were so lovable (one didn’t want me to leave). We got the flash drive of us sledding, which included everyone’s picture who was sledding at the same time. It was $80. You could also buy the printed pictures for $30 (for one) and $50 (for two). During the glacier walk we filled a water bottle and dipped a necklace in the glacier water. This experience was definitely a once in a lifetime moment we will remember forever! (P.S. Don’t forget your gloves and warm layers).

Fun, unparalleled views of the glacier and nugget falls
We had perfect weather, which allowed amazing views of the glacier and falls. Totally worth it for the perspective that you can't get any other way. The guides were amazing! Snacks provided on the stop at Nugget Falls. Rain boots provided. It was a workout! It was very windy the day we went, so what normally feels like a 5 mile trip was more like paddling 10 miles. The whole team works together, and has fun. It was a great time - MUST DO!

Great tour. Highly recommend
This is a great tour. Unbelievable scenery. Very beautiful. We really enjoyed canoeing across Mendenhall Lake. Our tour guides were Elymus and Brady and they were awesome. Great guides,
very knowledgeable about the area and they were also hilarious. Lots of fun. Great tour.
Highly recommend

Good choice for quick sled dog tour
Nice quick tour of a musher camp. Got to do a short ride pulled by the dogs, meet and pet them, and then hold some adorable puppies! Bus ride there takes up most of the time, but the quick tour left time to hang around Juneau and the bus driver dropped us off right in town.

Absolutely Incredible Experience!
We booked the Juneau Helicopter and Dogsledding with added glacier landing with Coastal Helicopters. They picked us up in town near the Goldbelt Tram, drove us to the airport where they fitted us with snow boots to go over our own shoes and stored any items we had in a locked box. We had our own private helicopter with 3 of us (one toddler) plus the pilot. We had the most amazing weather that day, once we got on the sleps at the dog camp it was sunny & blue skies! The dog mushing was so much fun and then we got to visit some of the dogs while waiting for our helicopter to return. We then took a short trip to land on the glacier, just us and got to spend around 15 minutes or so. Truly something to experience at least once! It's not inexpensive but it was incredible and absolutely worth it!

Up Close at the Glacier
The tour was well organized from start to finish. The company provided rain gear and boots. We canoed about five miles round trip. We were lucky with a calm day. We were able to paddle close to the glacier. Our guide Sofie was very friendly and responsible. Be prepared to do real work to paddle!

Not to be missed!
Experience of a lifetime! Friends assured me I could do it. So glad we did! I've had a hip replacement and still have arthritis in bothe knees and shoulders. Daughter-in-law did help steady me trudging across the snow... but it was an exhilarating experience 🤩

I highly recommend
A Segway voyage along a road adjacent to the ocean and a forest. Lasted a couple hours. Phoenix is a great guide with tons of knowledge about the local flora and fauna. We also took a short hike through a dense, lush forest with a hiking trail. We photographed bald eagles, porcupines, woodpeckers, Jay's. and a great view of Mendenhall glacier. I highly recommend!

Amazing Experience! Views, Wildlife, and a Good Time
End of the season. It was a small group of 3 people but it was absolutely amazing. Louis was our guide and he did a phenomenal job telling us about the area and the glacier. I did not expect to see wildlife but we ended up having a group of seals follow us for most of the excursion. I guess we were their entertainment lol. We saw 3 adult bald eagles. One tip: bring waterproof gloves. The water gets cold by the glacier and the paddle is cold as well.

First time rafting - great
Great time - Jamie was a great rafter and she looked after us really well. First time I have done it and really enjoyed it. The river was running fast after the recent and current rain. It was a shame the weather at the start meant the view of the glacier was not as good as it should have been.
Would recommend and would say book it online and not through the cruise line as far better value and the money goes to the local firm. I read poor reviews but they were spot on turned up exactly where they said and people who booked on the ship and paid a lot more were on the same trip.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Think of Juneau as the opposite of Rome—no roads lead in or out of this Alaskan capital. That’s not a problem: Take advantage of the city’s island nature, skip the rental car, and hit the skies. Juneau helicopter tours are the most thrilling way to see this rugged slice of Alaska, and in many cases, they’re the only way. You’ll see the roadless backcountry, spy on glaciers, hover over islands, and more. If one thing is sure, helicopter tours in Juneau prove no US capital can compare in ruggedness, wildness, or beauty.
