Great tour and tour guide
Great way to bypass the huge lines. It’s still crowded at various points within the Vatican, but I was so thankful for someone who really knew their way around. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Would recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. I wish I had caught our tour guide’s name. He was the perfect blend of informative, caring, and funny.

A great way to spend a day, when in Rome.
I really enjoyed this tour. After hearing so much about Pompei, it was great to go there and see the remains of the city. Sorrento was also beautiful, would have loved to spend more time there. Our tour guide Ion, was amazing. Told us interesting stories, histories and provided a lot of helpful information on places to visit, restaurants to eat and even where to get great gelato. Unfortunately, that was my last day in Rome, so I couldn't explore most of those places.

Pompeii, Mt Vesuvius hike.
Giovanni , the guide at Pompeii was awesome. Actually from Pompeii and knows the history. Patricia, our guide from start to finish , was clever, funny, also knowledgeable and a great host to spend 6 hours on a bus with. The hike to top of Mt Vesuvius was incredible once you arrived there. Totally worth the effort. The one negative would be the bus ride. The driver was literally all over the road. Couldn’t hold a lane. I thought maybe that was normal , but it wasn’t. But then this same driver easily navigated the difficult drive to Mt Vesuvius. Even with the scratchy bus ride, The trip was 100% worth it.

Worth Every Euro – An Exceptional Vatican Experience
Excellent tour from start to finish. The skip-the-line access saved a huge amount of time, and our guide was fantastic—knowledgeable, organised, and genuinely passionate about the Vatican’s history. We never felt rushed, had plenty of opportunities to see the major highlights, and learned far more than we would have on our own. Worth every euro and highly recommended.

Not seeing something you are looking for?

The Eternal City is filled with enough attractions to keep travelers busy sightseeing for days, weeks, or longer. But tear yourself away from Rome on a day trip, and you’ll uncover a world of sights beyond the capital. From the ruins of Pompeii and beaches of the Amalfi Coast, to Tivoli’s historic estates and medieval and Renaissance-era highlights of Tuscany, you’ll find plenty of worthwhile options to justify a day’s absence from Rome. In addition to choosing your day trip spot, you can pick the mode of transport that suits you best—train, private car, boat, or bike.
