Certified divers only. Ni’ihau is known for being the best scuba diving in the state of Hawai’i! The scuba diving sites have vertical walls with seemingly endless bottoms and crystal clear visibility. Large wildlife sitings are common and include sandbar sharks, Hawaiian monk seals (found no where else on earth), walls of butterfly fishes, and manta rays. We do two dives. Jessie will be your dive guide underwater to keep you safe and point out wildlife! In between dives we serve lunch and do a tour of Lehua Crater pointing out all our favorite seabirds and showing off the beautiful “Keyhole”. We usually look for dolphins and manta rays as we do a mini tour around the Lehua crater. The boat ride to Ni’ihau is around one hour. The ride home is anywhere from one hour to an hour and 45 minutes depending on weather. The commuting time to Ni’ihau and back is almost half the time compared to other shops! Only for certified divers. “Mana Crack” is an 11 mile long sunken barrier reef that has many different drop points. This is the furthest off shore dive site in the state of Hawaii! Mana Crack is known for its amazing visibility and unique topography. Great place to see large barracuda, spotted eagle rays, and white tip reef sharks. If you dive in Kauai a lot you will be surprised to see the java moray, rainbow runner, grey reef shark, stripe belly puffer, black surgeonfish and wringtail wrasse. We start with a deeper dive between 60-100 ft followed by an hour and a half long surface interval exploring the insanely beautiful Na Pali Coast! We can even take you in and out of the sea caves! The second dive is done a little shallower usually between 45-80 feet on a different drop point. Usually a few miles apart! If weather is not permitting for this tour we will reroute to south side Kaua’i diving and a 45% discount will be added.

This tour was UNBELIEVABLY magical. Exceeded our expectations in every way. Captain Kaua’i, Capt. Dane, Avery, Jake & Colton were so incredibly helpful, informative, and FUN to cruise with!! The boat (Lady Kailani) was clean, luxurious, spacious, and easy to maneuver around in. The food service and quality was exceptional, and the open bar as well. Captain Kaua’i is an extraordinary captain with 20+ years of captaining experience. He shared lots of Hawaiian culture and stories, kept a sharp eye out for sea life photo ops, and was humorous and down to earth as well. He made sure everyone got ample time/views to take pictures with the Na’apli Coast and massive, lush, cliffs in the background. Core Memory for the Littles!

Absolutely amazing tour! The waves were choppy but our captain was a great navigator! We went into caves and through waterfalls! Saw so much of the gorgeously mysterious Na Pali Coast! The crew was informative, friendly, and helpful! One person on the crew even offered to take my incredibly excited 4 year old into the water for a swim, because I unfortunately got hit with a bad case of sea sickness. The crew took care of me and my family and were so caring. Truly an experience we will remember. We plan to definitely rebook on our next visit, once I get the proper meds for sea sickness! 😂

Awesome mixed activity.

Beautiful scenery and knowledgeable guide. Learned a lot about flora and fauna in that particular Hawaiian ecosystem. I would rate it at an upper level moderate activity. Hike was strenuous with muddy/slippery trail sections and rocky river crossings. The kayaking was excellent as the guide taught us to navigate close to shore to cut down on windy conditions. Secret falls were a great reward!

One of the best excursions I’ve been on it was so fun well worth the money

It is a wild ride but very fun. Ryan has exceptional boating skills. I felt very confident with him driving the boat and he made it very exciting. The music was awesome. We saw lots of dolphins. We went through a cave that was gorgeous and we got wet under a waterfall. They get up close in personal to the coastline, Ryan and Jeff make a great team they make you feel very welcome and make sure that you’re comfortable with the whole trip. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants a little adventure.

This is a MUST for Kaua'i! The ge Round staff (shout out to Auntie Mei, you are fantastic!) and the pilots (thank you Reid!) are really great There are so many rich textures and details and stories/history of the island, and they did a great job of making it safe and comfortable and fun...the flying was so smooth, and the route and explanations were really something. Without doubt it was a crown jewel of our honeymoon. One of the most unforgettable things I have ever experienced...the best way to truly experience the unique landscape and stunning views. It also serves as a fantastic way to "whet your appetite" for going around the island on foot and by car. This experience will enrich you!

The BEST Way To Experience The Epic Napali Coast

One of our favorite activities on Kaua’i! Super recommend. Definitely the best way to experience the Napali Coast. The raft ride is definitely a high-speed adventure, but it wasn’t nearly as wet or challenging as I expected. The crew makes it easy to ride a long, the music was such a nice touch, it created an epic vibe. Highly recommend taking the early morning tour - we saw Hawaiian Spinner dolphins and Bottlenose dolphins! The sea caves and stories of each of the sites were fantastic. The whole staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. If you’re prone to motion-sickness (or even if not!) I would highly recommend taking an over-the-counter anti-motion sickness medication about 1 hour before — it saved me big time! Didn’t have a problem at all and enjoyed the sway of the ocean. If you’re unsure about this activity, go ahead and book it! You won’t regret it.

We normally don't splurge on expensive excursions, but a helicopter tour of Kauai was on our bucket list, so we went for it. And our tour with Mauna Loa did not disappoint! It was so well worth the money! Especially the doors off experience! Our pilot Christoph was excellent! He knew a lot about different areas of the island, and he helped us feel safe. My wife and I both get a little nervous with extreme heights (hikes along cliffs and such, not flying on planes), but neither of us felt concerned at all during the entire flight. It was also fun to have music (Top Gun, etc.) playing on our headphones which we also used to communicate. I only wish we could have captured that audio on our videos we took on our phones instead of just rotor noise. Not sure how that would work, but it would be sweet! They also equipped us with strong phone lanyards free of charge, which worked great! We didn't get cold, but wearing jackets helped shield us from the strong rotor winds. So, SO glad we did this!

When visiting Kauai, taking a small six-person seater plane tour is a must. There’s plenty of room to look out of both sides of the windows, offering stunning views of the coastline, including Poipu Beach, coffee farms, the Na Pali Coast, Tunnels Beach, Hanalei Bay, Princeville, and the beautiful waterfalls in the middle of the island. With so many scenic locations to enjoy, this experience is definitely worth it, especially for the price.
