We had such a wonderful experience at the bento box–making class! Everything was so well laid out and organized from the start, which made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. The hosts gave clear, easy-to-follow instructions and were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout.
We loved every part of it—preparing the food, learning new techniques, and of course, eating the beautiful bento boxes we created. The atmosphere was relaxed, fun, and inviting, making it a perfect activity for our family.
This was not only a delicious meal but also a memorable cultural experience we’ll treasure. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Tokyo! Especially families!

We did this bento-making class as a family and it turned out to be such a fun and memorable experience. It started with a short presentation that gave us a good understanding of bento—simple, informative, and easy to follow even for the kids.
The hands-on part was the best. The kids loved putting together their own bentos and choosing how to arrange everything. Kept them fully engaged the whole time. Even the adults enjoyed it more than expected.
We all walked to a nearby park to eat what we made. It was a nice, relaxed way to end the experience.
Overall, very well-organized, informative without being too heavy, and enjoyable for all ages.

We had a great time making our bento boxes! My 9 & 11 year old girls loved the experience (mom and dad did too) and were able to do everything on their own. Kenji very kind and patient with us. And then we got to eat our creation. The chicken was delicious!

We went, my cousin and I. We are travelling form France. The instructors were super nice, friendly and fun ! The workshop was beautifully prepared, very accessible (we did the English version) and really fun. We learned a lot about the traditions of bento making, and were encouraged through the whole workshop to make a beautiful piece of art ! There is a photo stand where you can take photos of your work. We made 2 different characters, panda and bear, they were both super adorable !
The bento ingredients were very fresh and well prepared, and we chose to eat our bento at the workshop location after making it, rather than taking it home. They also have drinks available to buy during the workshop and for eating. It was delicious !!
The atmosphere was really friendly and welcoming, and the instructors were very nice, helpful and encouraging. They also kindly gave many great recommendations of things to see, do, eat or shop in Tokyo. We look forward to trying them out !

Kenji and his team did such an amazing job teaching us how to put together super fun and cute bento lunches! He also taught us some about the history of bento, which was a fun and unexpected touch. Additionally, our family has some really annoying food allergies and his team went out of the way to be sure we had a safe and equally fun experience (we are used to having to “miss out” on things). Their care and attention really made the experience special! It was a great break from touring and an enormous hit with the kids. Highly recommend!

I had such a great afternoon creating my kawaii bento box. They were also able to cater to my vegan dietary requirement with no problems and went above and beyond during the class! We got to make several mini cute characters/items as well as a main animal, I went for a panda. Everything was really well structured and I felt very at ease and enjoyed myself. Thanks!

Both Kenji and Mami were wonderful. Class was very professional and fun. We were given options for our bento as well as a bit of knowledge. My only regret is that I did not book two classes. I would highly recommend.

It’s so much fun! Kenji did an amazing job in teaching us how to make the cutest bentos. He also set up nice backdrop fir us to take photos for our finished products.
We didn’t realize until we dig into our bento later that the food he prepared was yummy!

Kenji made the kawaii bento class informative and fun. The class, setup, and presentation was very organized. He was extremely patient and encouraged our inner most creativity. The bentos came out better than we could've imagined... so much so, that we didn't want to eat it. LoL This was probably the most fun we've had in any cooking class. Highly recommend this class! 👍🏼👍🏼

Kenji and Yuzu put on a great food art class. If you love creating art and Japanese food, this is a great place to do it.
We created a panda and a dog bento box out of prepared ingredients and were provided the tools and guidance necessary.
I think this experience is best for kids who like to create things, but I enjoyed it even as an adult.
Very fun and very wonderful people who hosted it.

My teenaged and young adult daughters and I had the best time with Kenji making our Panda, Bear and Frog Bento Boxes. He was so helpful and organized with step by step photos and pre-prepared sets for each of us. We even took photos with background options with lights. I found the experience very relaxing and enjoyable and yummy too! I highly recommended this activity.

Super fun class to take if you're into Japanese culture and washoku. I really enjoyed learning tips and tricks for making super cute kawaii bento boxes like you see in anime and Manga. Definitely worth doing on a rainy day or if you're just looking for something low-key to do because you need a break from walking around! ^_^

My two young kids and I loved this! Combines creative crafting with food for the perfect combination. Bento turned out so cute and pretty that we were a little sad to eat them, haha. Kenji-san is such a friendly teacher, and you can tell how much care he put into making this class enjoyable. He was also kind enough to show us how to make a traditional Japanese omelet and gave us a fun short tour around the area. If these free add-ons are available, definitely do them. You will adore this class!

Kenji is an amazing instructor and the Bento class is so much fun! He takes his time and has a great personality for teaching. He makes great conversation and photographs your creation as you progress. He also has beautiful backgrounds set up and he takes photos of you and the finished product.
