This is a private or semi-private tour. your guide has a lot of experience and will make you travel the safest and most suitable roads. This bike tour was GREAT! It was so fun to be out in the countryside of Rome rather than just in the city center. We saw the old aqueduct and the old Appian Way road, which was cool, the catacombs tour was excellent, and it was just a fun experience. We learned a saw a lot!!! Now, a little disclaimer: this is not for the faint of heart. It’s a long bike ride and a long day, in the heat. (Although the breeze on our faces was great.) It’s a great value for your money, but I wasn’t aware of how many miles we would ride. Thankfully they were E bikes. But a disclaimer about that too: those E bikes can have a little bit of power for people who don’t know how to ride them, so just be careful! Not saying don’t do it, just be aware. I had a little minor accident, but our tour guide was there with Band-Aids and wound spray. Our guide was Icaru- great guy, fun and kind and knowledgeable 😊

We went on this tour with our 15 year old and 12 year old, and they both thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The tour was the perfect length and long enough to see and learn so much. It was engaging from start to finish, and our kids stayed interested the entire time. Our guide was absolutely incredible. They were friendly and extremely knowledgeable, bringing the history of Rome to life with fascinating stories and insights. They also took us to some amazing places that we would have never have discovered on our own. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Rome, and we all came away having learned so much while having a great time. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome, whether you’re travelling as a family or on your own.

Great way to see the sites of Rome! Great fun!

The e-bike tour was really fun, very informative Nd a great way to see the sites. I highly recommend, our guide was great, very knowledgable and knew all the best routes to avoid too much traffic and crowded areas. It would be good to do this at the start of a Rome visit to be able to then revisit some of the places on foot! The e-bikes were much appreciated as there were lots of hills! Renato is the best!

Renato was amazing. We cannot say enough good things about him. He was accommodating to our two kids (12 and 15) and included them in our conversations and asked them questions. We messed up our tour time at the catacombs and he fixed it, my husband even left his phone in the van after the tour and he came back to give it to us. This tour was a beautiful stop outside of Rome and we enjoyed the comfort of the e-bikes. Renato is the best!!

Awesome Rome Highlights Tour

Great bike tour! Both my hubby and I have done bike tours in many cities we visit and the Rome one did not disappoint! We had Lorena who was so knowledgable about Rome history and gave out great recommendations for coffee spots and food throughout the tour. Highly recommend if you want to learn about Roman history with all the important sites the city has to offer.

Amazing tour with a wonderful guide

This was a fantastic tour!! So much fun. And we learned a lot. Our tour guide was Ilenia - she was knowledgeable, friendly, fun, helpful, patient. We were fortunate to have a small group - my husband, me, plus one other couple - which made getting around Rome smooth and easy. We were also lucky that we happened to schedule our tour in the morning on a Rome holiday (June 29, 2026) so there was less traffic/people to navigate. It was hot, but every time we got back on the bikes we gave ourselves a breeze. Can't say enough good things about this tour - from booking to communication to the actual tour - it was a wonderful experience that we will always remember. (Note: Rome is a busy city so it is to your advantage to have at least some experience with e-bikes.) Highly recommend!! And we'll do it again if we're back in Rome! Thank you, Ilenia!

This was an absolutely incredible way to see Rome! The bike shop was very well organized for the numerous tour going out. and the bikes were comfortable and easy to ride. Our guide Han was amazing. We were able to see so much of the city and Han was so knowledgeable, we learned a great deal about everything we saw. I would definitely recommend this tour and our guide Han. This was a highlight of our trip to the Mediterranean.

My 11 year old son and I...

My 11 year old son and I had a great time with Alessio on this tour. Since it was just the two of us, he customized the tour to show us another park, a neighborhood often filmed in movies, as well as the Borghese gardens. We stopped frequently for photos and informs on various landmarks and cool sights. It was a highlight of our trip and the e-bikes made it easy to cover a lot in the time allotted. Highly recommend!

Excellent Rome Bike Tour
