Ray was an incredibly knowledgeable and attentive host. This tour includes van travel from two choices of pickup to the Favela and a return trip after the tour. The tour introduces a more positive view of the favela. I felt safe throughout the trip thanks to the system in place and attentiveness of our guide and guard. They warned us when phones and other potential recording devices had to be kept out of site. I would recommend bringing good walking shoes and extra cash to either donate to the various organizations you are welcomed to or to purchase drinks and snacks during the tour. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see and experience an important cultural aspect of Brazil and Rio.

Must do Rain Forest Hike

This is a must do when in Rio. If you love hiking and going on an adventure, you will love this hike. Victor was our guide and he was amazing. He was able to give different trail options for beginners and intermediate especially when approaching the caves. The waterfalls and views are beautiful. Recommend 10/10.

Excellent tour!

This was a perfect tour to not only see two of Rio’s most famous sights but also to get a Birds Eye view of the city, mountains and coastline. Our tour guide Kiko was excellent. Great Job!

Great experience with Luciana! Kept us informed and kept us together when other people were touring so we didn’t get lost. Also she very friendly and good at her job. I would recommend her as your guide. I will say to eat before going or bring a snack, you can’t eat until closer to the end due to you going to multiple locations to take photos and time is limited. I still recommend going during the day.

What an experience to see Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf just being there was amazing and the views from both overlooking the beautiful Rio de Janiero were breathtaking. Fabulous tour guide!

Our Driver Fernando was fantastic! The company had told us to get Skip the line tickets for Christ the Redeemer and the Sugarloaf Mountain tour and boy was that worth it! He stayed with us through all of our tours of both locations, and brought us to a wonderful restaurant in Rio, and then took us to the Steps and some other fantastic neighborhoods. Amazing doors-off helicopter experience with Rio2Fly.

Hanging out of the helicopter at two points, once over the ocean just off the coastline and again near Christ the Redeemer, was absolutely exhilarating. Seeing the statue and the city from this perspective is something you can’t get any other way. Flying along the coastline was a highlight, with the ocean on one side and the city on the other. The views were incredible and the whole experience felt safe, professional, and very well run. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to see Rio.

Excellent Tour

Recommend this tour if you have limited time in Rio. Our Tour Guide Ursula was excellent knowledge of the subjects. We had a tour through one of the favela, all the top sights and some additional ones like the maracana Stadium. It was a long day extremely enjoyable. I booked this trip the day before had regular communication throughout, highly recommend.
