Great Tour. Don't need to look any further. Peter was a great guide and organized the day so we saw both tour hilights in a timely manner. The day was extremely hot, but we didn't even notice the heat as the group moved a a great pace. I would highly recommend this tour and the cost to see both attractions was very reasonable.

This is a long tour, but worth the time as you get to see Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf. If you have the time, I would book 1 day for each, but if you are on a time crunch, this tour is perfect. By taking the tour, you get the fast line for entry at Sugarloaf which is very helpful.

Pickup starts 30min before the tour. For the morning tour it will be between 7:00am and 7:30am, 9:00am and 9:30am for the afternoon tour it will be between 1:30pm and 2:00pm, depending on traffic. Each hotel have a specific timing according to the it's location. Please contact us for the exact time. Important: for operational reasons our pickup happens only in selected hotels in the neighborhood of Copacabana, Leme, Ipanema and Leblon. If your hotel is not in the list, also please contact us so we will help you finding the nearest pick-up point.

The 9:00am tour needs a minimum amount of people to operate. Our regular hours (7:30am or 1:30pm) operate regularly
During the Carnival period, because of the crowd, all tickets need to be paid in advance to the venues. So Any date change for the tour with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a charge of USD 40.00 per person.

Great experience, the lines for sugarloaf mountain were very long, and the tickets to the attractions were kind of expensive, but the tour guide was incredible, our driver equally so, and it took almost all of the hassle and stress away from taking this excursion. Even allowing us to skip the line to buy tickets.

I highly recommend this tour. It made visiting Christ the redeemer and sugar mountain so easy. We took the earlier time of 730 and got to Christ the redeemer before it got too busy/hot. When we went to sugarloaf we had a short wait on the way up and on the way down we skipped pass what looked like a hundred people waiting in a snaking queue in the sun. Peter was a great tour guide and gave us enough free time to see things ourselves after some initial information.

This was a great way to experience the main attractions without having to do the planning. The guide collected us from the hotel at the agreed time and everything went really smooth. One downside was the the big queues everywhere but that's outside of the tour operator's control. All in all, this was a great day with 0 stress.

She handled all the logistics seamlessly, helping us avoid long lines and making the entire experience stress-free. Visiting Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer was absolutely breathtaking, and Gabi shared so much interesting history and local insight that really brought each site to life. She also made sure we had plenty of time for photos and knew all the best spots for the most amazing views. The day was just as advertised. We were picked up and went to Christ Redeemer and then Sugarloaf. Vicente was a fantastic guide. He shared historic facts as we passed sites. The trip was well run and Vicente was very accommodating. I highly recommend this trip!

Be ready to wait for cable cars, elevators, vans and crowds trying to get the perfect insta. Gabi (with driver Paolo) was an excellent guide and got us ahead of the crowd everywhere possible. We had the right amount of time at each stop, and learned about Rio's history and culture along the way. They even took us on different routes to see the most. Gabi was funny and spoke excellent English.

Despite being advertised as a 5 hour tour, our tour was actually 9 hours. This resulted in over half of our group being unable to see Sugarloaf Mountain. The tour guide did not mention anything about extended time required. Truthfully, there was nothing interesting or enlightening she shared on the tour about the places we visited or saw. In hindsight, it would have been the same experience and significantly cheaper to simply purchase tickets myself and Uber to the destinations.

During this period, the city receives large cruise ships almost every day—sometimes more than one—which naturally makes the city very crowded. We are not responsible for the management or conditions of the attractions, and it is impossible for us to predict exactly when lines will be longer than usual. Additionally, the tour was abandoned on your part, without prior notice, after you had already received your tickets for Sugarloaf Mountain. Despite this, we still made the courtesy gesture of taking you back to your hotel. Requesting a refund under these circumstances is not appropriate. We fulfilled our obligations correctly. Furthermore, it is not accurate to state that the tour lasted 9 hours, as it was not completed due to your decision to leave early.

However, in Rio de Janeiro, long lines are very common between December and April due to the high number of visitors, including daily arrivals of large cruise ships. Unfortunately, skip-the-line or fast-track access is not always available for attractions like Sugarloaf Mountain, and this is beyond our control. Tour guide was very rude and lines were extremely long. She was not realistic about the time it took. Just buy the tickets on your own and use the extra money to pay to ‘skip the line’. You don’t need a guide to repeat the same history you can read on your own.

Regarding the waiting times, Rio de Janeiro is extremely busy during this time of year, especially between December and April, with a high number of visitors and frequent cruise ship arrivals. Long lines at attractions such as Sugarloaf Mountain are common and unfortunately beyond our control. It is not possible to predict exact waiting times in advance. Additionally, the value of a guided tour goes far beyond simply sharing historical information. The two places we saw are both magnificent, with amazing views of Rio, both must-see sites. Our tour guide Luciana was very friendly and knowledgeable. She told us the lines to go up and down the Sugarloaf could be long and we are glad we went along because it was worth it, it was an incredible experience. Not a good experience

We booked this Half Day in Rio with Christ Redeemer and Sugar Loaf Hill and were told pickup would be at 8:40 sharp, but after the pickup we sat in the bus in front of our hotel for 30 minutes, and after one full hour we were still driving around the city picking up people. During this entire "Pickup Drive" the guide didn’t say a single word and the bus driver was driving like he was in a race, probably to make up the time we lost sitting in front of our hotel. At thr Sugarloaf we then stood in line four different times for more than an hour cause even though we paid $130 per person we didn’t have access to the fasttrak or priority line, so most of the tour was spent waiting in lines, and once we finally reached the top we had about 30 minutes before leaving again. We decided to skip Christ the Redeemer with the group because we didn’t feel like spending yet another hour standing in line. Overall a very chaotic and badly organized tour, definitely not worth the money we spent for it. We’ve used Viator and TripAdvisor many times and usually had great experiences. This one though was easily the worst tour we’ve ever taken.

This was the worst tour ever. The tour guide moved so slow in doing the basics such as getting our tickets. At one point I watched over 60 people skip us in line because the tour guide was no where to be found. Incredible waste of my time and you will be better off going on your own.
