A definite workout, but with rewarding views and sights!

Wow. This tour was amazing and we saw lots of very interesting things! The tour guides (Gio and Luca, hi!) were very informative and knew so much about the city, I loved hearing them talk about the history and culture. However, I currently cannot feel my posterior due to the immensely bumpy terrain that lasted a short while. Beware of the big stones! Side note: Beware of little British boys though. They came for me and my small child as we rode a bike with trailer, and we did unfortunately, take a tumble. Their mother was a nuisance. Terrible parenting.

I highly recommend this...

I highly recommend this tour. It made visiting Christ the redeemer and sugar mountain so easy. We took the earlier time of 730 and got to Christ the redeemer before it got too busy/hot. When we went to sugarloaf we had a short wait on the way up and on the way down we skipped pass what looked like a hundred people waiting in a snaking queue in the sun. Peter was a great tour guide and gave us enough free time to see things ourselves after some initial information.

The venue itself is beautifully designed, blending classic Rio glamour with modern production. The show was spectacular. The performers were incredibly talented—dancers, singers, and musicians delivering an energetic celebration of Brazilian culture. The choreography, costumes, lighting, and music were all world-class. You get to experience a journey through Brazil’s rhythms—from samba to bossa nova—presented with incredible passion and precision. The dinner was also excellent. The food was well prepared, flavorful, and nicely presented, with a great variety that pairs perfectly with the entertainment. Service was attentive and friendly throughout the evening. What really makes the experience special is the energy and authenticity of the performance. You can feel the pride in Brazilian culture, and the audience becomes part of the celebration. This tour was 10/10 definitely worth the money!!!!!! This was a great experience and detailed introduction to the city of Rio de Janeiro. Our tour guide Paloma was informative, kind, personable and very funny. The day was well planned and very organized. The favorite parts of the day was Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf Mountain! Definitely a day and memory of Rio that I will always remember and cherish. Be prepared to be occupied with this tour all day and to not plan anything else. Don’t leave Rio without doing this tour or you will miss out!!!

Well worth it!

I read many reviews that said this was well worth it, and I couldn’t agree more. I spent over two hours exploring both beautiful stops. Had I not had the skip the line, I would’ve had an additional (at least) two hours of just waiting. There are signs that are marked priority/fast. Make sure you go through those marked areas and the staff will help move you through.

The best tour I’ve ever been on! Don’t go to the sites on your own. Firstly some of the places are not so safe but the wonderful guide Emma showed us where to go and be safe. However it’s beating the MASSIVE crowds that was so great. We would never have got in and seen so much in our own. The lines were so long but we were always in the very best spot to cut the lines! The lunch was amazing! Not some cheap boxed lunch but a proper glamorous restaurant and the food was non-stop! Amazing!

Hanging out of the helicopter at two points, once over the ocean just off the coastline and again near Christ the Redeemer, was absolutely exhilarating. Seeing the statue and the city from this perspective is something you can’t get any other way. Flying along the coastline was a highlight, with the ocean on one side and the city on the other.
