You actually see most everything in Rio in one day unfortunately the guide in Rio don’t give much information on the tour will be nice if the talking more about places we visit

I was at the pick up spot. I waited with my group. I saw others looking too for their driver. We were at the pick up location with these 4 others at the pier at 8:00 AM who had the same tour booked. We searched for our driver. We both tried to reach Viator, no answer at first. We found Portuguese speaking prople to help and to translate the answering machine. Another person reached Viator at around 9:00 and was told they would try to reach the driver and get back to us. NO ONE CALLED BACK & NO DRIVER ARRIVED. We were among the last to be at the pier. Finally around 10AM we banded together and secured a van to take us!! YES, WE PAID TWICE! This system is poor because they only want to communicate via WhatsApp and there is little bi-lingual communication or regular text, not even an email!! I will NEVER use Viator again!! I am disputing the Pl harder with my credit card company!!

The tour covered everything as expected. We had plenty of time at each stop, and all stops were great.
The ticket process at Sugarloaf was a little difficult with a large group and one person having all tickets for the group on their phone. This slowed the process down a little.

The point of interest stopped at were very interesting a bit crowded but worth it. The biggest difference in the quality of the tour would be the guide.

The tour company overbooked leaving 3 people too many. We ended up stepping off and paying additional for a taxi to take us around all day. Wouldve just done that had we known. The company did little, example, they purchased the tickets when we arrived at the destination. We could've done that and not been stuck in a crowded vehicle all day.

We saw everything we wanted to see but there is alot of queuing. It was a great day though, our suggestion would be to include fast track pass and charge slightly more.

Hectic day but well thought out and we got to see everything as promised. Christ the redeemer was shrouded in mist but that couldn't be helped. Food at lunchtime was good but very chaotic place to eat. Which we'd done the steps first as by the time we got there they were so full of visitors you couldn't see them at all.

Guilherme and his driver were absolutely wonderful. I travel with a portable oxygen concentrator and walker, and they went out of their way to make sure that everything was as easy as possible, and that I was able to participate in all of the activities. I can’t believe that he speaks so many languages and was able to keep up with everybody. He was able to answer all of our questions and shared lots of history and stories with us. Lunch was in a nice restaurant and food was great. It was a long day, but was definitely well worth it as we covered quite a bit!

This is my first visit to Rio de Janeiro. This is the best way to visit the 2 important tourist spots in Rio - Sugar Loaf and Christ the Redeemer, as well as the others. Communications is good, we are contacted by the tour operator on the evening before. Pick up is efficient and didn’t spend a lot of time to go to different places. Our tour guide Joao spoke good English and took good care of us. He also gave us tips to other interesting places that was not covered by this tour. Lunch was buffet type and good.

Recommend this tour if you have limited time in Rio. Our Tour Guide Ursula was excellent knowledge of the subjects. We had a tour through one of the favela, all the top sights and some additional ones like the maracana Stadium. It was a long day extremely enjoyable. I booked this trip the day before had regular communication throughout, highly recommend.

This was a great tour within the very capable hands of Helber, whose English and other language skills are excellent. Helber was able to provide great commentary and provide great insights to the various stops on the tour.
The highlights are of course; Sugar Loaf Mountain and Christ The Redeemer Statue, for which there was an easy entry to both, thanks to the 'skip-the-line' tickets that had been included as part of the tour. There were long lines at both these locations, which were avoided by being on this organized tour. You are given adequate time to see both of these iconic sights. We were on a tour of 19 persons, from all nationalities, who all blended well together.
Lunch is provided on this tour and this was at buffet restaurant, which has a wide selection of foods from which to choose and the quality is very good.
Despite the shortcomings that are listed below, this is a 5-Star Trip.
The pick-up process can be very tedious, when there are multiple persons and multiple hotel pick-up points. There needs to be a wait-time limit, due to the fact that there are so many people who are not on time for their designated pick-up time. It is very inconsiderate and rude to keep a bus of other passengers waiting for over 30 minutes.
I also question partnering with a driver who had so little regard for passenger comfort, speeding well in excess of the speed limit and had little regard for other road users. This tour could be improved with a maximum wait of 10 minutes past the designated pick-up time and drivers that have been screened for greater road safely.

This tour covered a lot of places; we couldn’t do it by ourselves as it covered quite a wide area. I am glad that I did it. One thing I was disappointed was that when I booked, the pickup list included Sheraton but then they said no so I had to get up earlier and take a taxi to the meeting place. The tour company said it was a platform issue, not theirs.
