Gliding in Brazil
Ricardo and Rubén are true experts. Once you get there Ricardo explains the process and drives you to the top of the location where you will take off. It was very quick and easy. The landing was smooth. My sister did hand gliding and I did paragliding. Keep in my there is a weight limit for hand gliding. If this is a concern for you ask beforehand. Another thing to be mindful of is there is a fee of 135R for insurance plus another 220-330R for the video. The video is NOT included in the price. In total for each person the activity came out to around $330+(1655R). Overall the price is worth it because safety is very important.

Outstanding all the way!
The tour was well-paced, giving us plenty of time to enjoy each stop without ever feeling rushed, along with many opportunities to take great photos throughout the day. We visited Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, the Selarón Steps, and many other highlights included in the tour program. Our tour guide, Sal, was exceptional, sharing fascinating historical insights as well as helpful safety tips along the way. We also chose the lunch option, which was absolutely worth it — excellent quality Rodízio-style food paired with great service. Sal truly went above and beyond to keep the group organized, focused, and on schedule, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended — this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Rio is a vibrant, stunning, and unforgettable city.

Life changing experience
Great experience with a great pilot!! It was very organized and not a long wait. My instructor told me step by step was happening and made me feel really comfortable. I even planned to do it the following day. If you have no experience paragliding, this is the company for you.

Awesome Way to See Rio’s Highlights in One Day
I booked this tour not knowing that some people were only doing the morning and some only doing the afternoon. It turned out that we were the only ones doing the fully day (and thus were on our own at lunch). We were only in Rio for one day, and this turned out to be a fantastic way to see the highlights in one jam-packed day! My husband and I were lucky to be the last ones into the van, which meant we got to sit up front with the driver. We had amazing views as we were driving! We started out at Christ the Redeemer before heading to Sugarloaf. After that, we dropped off anyone who was only doing the morning. For lunch, we went to an all-you-can-eat Brazilian steakhouse. I’m vegetarian so it was a little lost on me, but the salad bar was still quite good and my husband enjoyed all the meat! In the afternoon, we headed downtown to Cinelandia Square, the Selaron Steps, Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro, and the Mosteiro de São Bento. We also drove past the Sambadrome and Lapa Arches. I really enjoyed seeing this side of Rio, which I think a lot of tourists don’t see in comparison to what we’d seen in the morning. Our guide Monica was great. She was energetic, informative, and played photographer all day for all the groups of people on our tour. Our driver was also safe.

Not seeing something you are looking for?

Sandwiched between the azure sea and green mountains, Rio de Janeiro is world-renowned for its scenery. But most visitors take in the sights without ever leaving the ground. Add a heart-pumping experience to your trip with a Rio de Janeiro paragliding tour, where you’ll glide with a professional on a tandem flight from Tijuca National Park to the beach of Sao Conrado. Many tours include photos and videos of the flight, so you’ll walk away with plenty of selfies to immortalize the experience.
