Great Tour with Unexpected Gems

Manuela showed us the must-see highlights of Rio (Christ the Redeemer, Sugar Loaf), but also some unexpected wonderful sites such as the Metropolitan Cathedral of St. Sebastian and the Selaron Staircase. Our guide and driver were professional and personable and we had plenty of time to enjoy ourselves without feeling rushed.

Unfortunately as the Carnaval was on...

Unfortunately as the Carnaval was on we could not go to all the sights listed on the tour as sights were closed or the roads were due to the Carnaval. I think if we had been told this we could have selected a different tour as we basically went to Christ the Redemmer and Sugarloaf Mountain. The tour operator also didn't tell the guide that entry Fees were included or lunch with our tour, but this was sorted quickly. The guide did her best with English but it was limited, but she did make up for in effort and making sure we got to the best spots to see the views. I think this tour would be ok any other time.......

Our guide and driver were great. I would highly recommend touring with this company again. Our guide was very knowledgeable and open to places we wanted to visit. The driver stayed with the car at all times so we didn't have to worry about theft of our suitcases.We were picked up at the cruise terminal and later dropped off at the airport. We also were given lunch at an all you can eat place. The food was very good.
