Great tour, Lucas spoke good English and gave us good information. Christ redeemer beautiful, alot of steps, but also had escalator up and down. Dropped us off at Copacabana Beach too. Gondola ride beautiful, Lucas really took care of us.

The queue to climb Sugarloaf Mountain took hours. And in the end, when we went up, we saw almost nothing because of rain and clouds... Then we waited a long time on the way down. Finally, the guide wanted to continue to the statue of Jesus the Redeemer, which was also covered in clouds and rain... I said enough! There's no point in wasting time. In short, a waste of time and money

The guide probably has an impossible task of herding several tourists through the most in demand sites in Rio within the timeline (4 hours) of the tour. Our tour ran over by 2 hours. Our guide seemed nervous and struggled to communicate effectively. No-one could hear what was being said, including the person sitting next to the guide! We’ve enjoyed many informative and fun tours with Viator guides but this experience left us very underwhelmed and starving!

We joined this tour to Christ the Redeemer with great expectations, but unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. The weather on the day was absolutely horrible — heavy rain, poor visibility, and unsafe walking conditions. There was no sighting of the statue at all, which completely defeats the purpose of the tour.
What made the situation worse was that we were not allowed to cancel or reschedule, despite the conditions being clearly unsuitable and even dangerous to walk in. I understand that the weather itself is out of the tour operator’s control, and I do take that into account. However, the decision to proceed with the tour regardless of safety and visibility is within their control.
In conditions like pouring rain and zero visibility, the responsible approach would be to reschedule the entire tour or offer guests an alternative date. This would show care for both customer experience and safety.
I am extremely unhappy with how this was handled and cannot recommend this tour unless weather conditions are guaranteed to be suitable.

❌❌❌ DO NOT BOOK❌❌❌ I booked with this company a month out. They do not pick up from hotels as they claim. They called me the morning of to tell me to meet them some place else. It was impossible to meet them because of heavy traffic. I asked for a refund and they refused. Had to contact my bank. They will defraud you and steal your money. Find another company because this one was unreliable and untrustworthy.

The group visited two of the most iconic landnarks in Rio de Janeiro. The organization and schedule were on high level but the guide Marlady was top. She is very friendly, informative and flexible with regards to the time for transportation, exploring the sites and shoping. I strongly recommend her.

This tour was fun. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and guided us really well. I think the time we spent in each stop was good and overall a really good experience. The only negative I would give and it’s just to give a heads up to everyone else booking is that it took over an hour driving around to pick everyone up at their hotels which was a bit much personally but at least they picked us up. We did the half day and I found the duration of time perfect.

Meeting point is accessible and other tours pick up there too. Our tour guide Carlos was friendly and answered all of our questions about Rio. The transportation is comfortable and safe. The tour allows for time to walk and explore on your own which is very nice. Highly recommend. Carlos was amazing :)

We were told that the tour would start at 8a.m. And to be there at 15 minutes before. We waited and waited, many kind individuals called the help line number on our behalf. We were told to wait they were coming. Hours passed while we waited in the heat. I then got a what’s app massage saying they had emailed that they would not be there till 9.30a.m. That would have been fine, had they contacted us but they had not. No email was received. The guide finally appeared at 10a.m the bus being almost full. We had booked 5 months prior. The places on the tour that we visited and the experience while there was very good, but it had been spoiled. With the over 2 hour wait.

The tour guide was able to speak to the group in both English and german. The pickup was on time. The guide was especially helpful with my older parents and help them stay out of the sun when possible and provided seating when we were in lines for the activities.

This tour was exceptional. The tour guy was very good. He explained everything in English as well as Portuguese. He gave ample time at each sight. The driver was great on the road. If you don’t do anything else in RDJ do this tour. It will not disappoint. Be mindful thou at the Christ redeemer there are a lot of steps to climb. So ask ahead of time if you need to take the escalator up. We took it down. Excellent Tour ❤️

I had to book this for a second time as the first tour was a washout and we couldn't see anything. This tour was everything I thought the first tour would've been if the weather wasn't so bad. Plan for the weather before booking.

We booked this trip a couple of weeks before we were due to arrive in Rio whilst in the UK
We arrived in Rio on Friday am and we were due to go on the trip the following day when the weather was forecast to be cloudy.
I contacted the tour operator and asked if it was possible to change the trip to Sunday this was immediately granted and was the making of the experience as the weather was sunny and clear.
We were picked up and dropped off at the hotel and Moura our guide was very informative and attentive throughout the tour ensuring that everyone had a great time it’s difficult to say whether the views from the Sugarloaf mountain or the iconic Christ the Redeemer were the highlight but they were both superb and I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rio and wanting to see these two iconic landmarks

The “half-day” tour to visit Sugarloaf and Christ The Redeemer was scheduled to start at 0800.
We were picked up at 0850. When our guide told us there was a coffee shop near where the others were eating lunch, we realized that they added us to the full day tour. 4 extra stops and Christ Redeemer last. Received your “review our half-day tour” request around 2pm. Got back to hotel at 410pm. Felt like a hostage

We had a really great time on the tour, with an added bonus of going to the Escadaria Selaron, which was nice. Pickup was on time and traffic was typical for a city, so it added some time. This tour is surely longer than 5 hours, so block off a large part of the day, but there is plenty of time for the beach after you get back. Our tour guide, Lidia was amazing. She was fun, informative, and on time! Definitely recommend this tour.
