Fun with clouds

Allesondro was our guide. He was knowledgeable and kept a larhe group on task. He had a couple group members that didn't follow directions but he still handled it with grave. The sights were amazing and lunch at the steakhouse was great! The weather was a bit cloudy for good pictures but that is not in control of tour group.

Due to large crowds, one should have a tour guide like Ana Maria to make the most of their time. She navigated the crowds with ease! Ana Maria and the driver, Valdemar, were punctual picking us up. they continued the punctuality as he dropped us off and picked us up at the different locations.

If you have extra time in Rio, visit Petropolis!

This was a great tour! The communication from the operators was good and our guide, Plinio, was excellent. Something to note is that the Crystal Palace is more like a large greenhouse, not an actual palace where people lived. This trip does not include a guided tour of the Imperial Palace, which I would have liked. However, I enjoyed the free time that let me visit a ceramics museum. Plinio was very helpful and impressive with his mastery of English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Fun-Filled Tour

What can I say about this fantastic nine hour experience of visiting Christ The Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain & the Rio City Tour which included a trip to the famous Macarena Stadium (even though sightseeing was restricted to only the exterior of the Stadium though😊, it was still worth it), the magnificent Catedral Metropolitana de Sao Sebastiao, the noted Escadaria Selaron Steps & not forgetting the sumptuous buffet lunch we all had at a wonderful restaurant. AWESOME is the word to describe this tour. This incredible and memorable experience was made possible for my two children and I by this Company (Rio Carioca Tour), Katrin the hardworking, very very patient and marvelous Company’s Tour Guide & the lovely Tour Driver who drove us for so many hours to these places. The price for the tour with this Company was also very reasonable considering all the numerous places we visited & the buffet food we ate at the restaurant. ‘Obrigado’ Katrin & Rio Carioca Tour Team for making our Rio de Janeiro holiday a truly special one.

We joined the trip and...

We joined the trip and got picked up from a hotel nearby our Airbnb in Ipanema. The bus ride was early and a few hours, but the bus was very cozy and clean! The seats reclined, my friends and I were able to nap before our adventure. The tour is worth the money, our guide Thiago brought us to 4 islands! The boat was clean and well maintained by the crew. Lunch was provided on the second island, a warm Brazilian buffet!

This was my second time...

This was my second time visiting Rio. During my first visit, I did not take a tour, but this time I chose a guided experience and really enjoyed the convenience and freedom of having someone else drive us around and handle the logistics. I traveled with my family, and they also really enjoyed the tour. We were able to relax, take in the sights, and even made new friends with others on the van, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Great birthday treat

What a great day out .Lorraine and our driver really made the day special. The weather helped I suppose. Pick up was bang on time even though we had to make our own way there, the coach was spotless and very comfortable. The trip was for my birthday and it was certainly made special by everyone.

Amazing tour, a side of Rio that you definitely need to see. I’m not really sure if the tour was great, or our amazing tour guide Emma made it be amazing. She is the best tour guide that we have for a very long time, thank you Emma and thank you for showing us your beautiful country!
