Outstanding driver for the day and excellent Pompei guide; after the Pompei tour, driver took us to a vineyard/olive orchard/citrus orchard/ vegetable garden for a tour and a lunch tasting. A truly unique experience

This experience was truly unique. We wanted to see Pompeii and Vesuvius but this experience was so much more. We not only got a highlights tour of Pompeii (the site is massive and being able to know what to focus your time and attention on was key) we also had the opportunity to dine under mount vesuvius and ride horses under it. These are the extra touches that make this a truly unique experience. There were so many moving parts to this day I’m so impressed with the level of coordination required by everyone. Executed flawlessly.

Great experience with Jack and Numo as our drivers / guides. Both guys were fantastic and helped make the day very memorable. The breakfast and lunch were great. The guided tour with Erica to the archeological site in Pompei was very interesting and informative. I cannot recommend this Vespa tour highly enough — it was easily one of the highlights of our entire trip to Italy! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We were picked up right in Sorrento by Francesco and Giovanni, and from the very first moment, the experience was fantastic. Francesco is an absolute gem — a genuinely kind, patient, and warm person who clearly loves what he does. He’s also an excellent scooter driver, making the winding roads of the Amalfi Coast feel safe and exhilarating at the same time. At one point I asked if I could drive the Vespa myself, and Francesco was very accommodating and let me take the controls. He was right, though — being a passenger was so much more enjoyable! It allowed me to fully soak in the breathtaking views, the colorful cliffside towns, and the stunning coastline without worrying about the road. He knows all the best spots, shares wonderful stories and history, and genuinely made us feel like we were exploring with a friend rather than just on a tour. Highly Recommend—-worth the money!

This tour was our last and best during our Mediterranean cruise. This excursion was so much better than any offered by the cruise line. Fabio was a wonderful driver and customized our time according to our needs and interests. He was very knowledgeable about all things Naples/Amalfi Coast. The scenery was most beautiful and has inspired me to return to this area in 2028! I was not feeling well by the time we got to the Pompeii Ruins but our guide, Natalia was very patient and accommodating to ensure my well-being yet the best tour possible. She was so knowledgeable and kind—-Natalia was great! I would take this tour again!

Good tour

This is a very exertional hike up Mt Vesuvius and the uneven ground in both locations are challenging for anyone with mobility issues. However, it was great day, the archaeologist was very informative and the hiking guide very cautious and attentive. It was basically like two different tours and after the archaeologist left us in the ruins area, we had to find our way back to the front, try to find food and restrooms on our own before meeting the afternoon hike guide.

Fun and fantastic from start to finish is the best way to describe this one day drive from Naples along the Amalfi coast. From port pick-up to limoncello tasting in Sorrento; curve after surprising curve and stops for photos in Positano, Amalfi, and Minori; a delicious pizza lunch followed by a fabulous dessert; and then a climb over the coastal mountains and back down to Naples; this day was a highlight of our trip from Athens to Rome!

On the road again

It is a long drive to the Amalfi Coast with little opportunities for a bathroom break. Plan accordingly. Lots of walking through narrow streets so wear very comfortable shoes. The roads are very narrow and curvy so if someone is prone to motion sickness, take medication before the drive. But seriously, this trip is so worth the views and experiences. Enjoy!

Yay for Pompeii!

I am so glad we booked this! We booked the night before. I was looking into this a couple weeks prior but I saw all the 'so so' reviews on the food at the vineyard and the staff there. It was going to rain so we made the last minute decision to do this activity since it wouldn't be too nice; I love wine and my husband loves history... fair trade off. This was probably our favorite day in Italy! Ricardo was FANTASTIC on our tour! The amount of knowledge he held; i just kept looking at my husband wide eyed to all the historical information we learned. Ricardo took his time explaining everything and went at a wonderful pace. I really could have spent hours with this man just absorbing the all knowledge he had; the way he explained it all was just perfect. It DOWNPOURED during our tour; my husband and I were fine, we were having a blast learning about Pompei, and Ricardo kept offering his umbrella to me. He was very sweet and made sure everyone was with the group and safe during the rain. My husband and I also had a train issue before the tour and were 10 minutes late; Ricardo responded right away to my messages and explained where to go and what to do if we did not make it on time. I have no idea why the wine and food tasting has such subpar reviews on here; it was DELICIOUS! Maybe they changed the winery they went to because of the past reviews but I cannot say enough great things about this place. First off; the wine was delicious (I bought some to take home and my family owns a winery so I may know a thing or two about wine). The food was more than I thought we were getting and it was FRESH and the flavors popped! App, meatballs, eggplant , pasta and gelato with wine in it for dessert! The tour was short but cute. They let you eat the grapes too and hang out as long as you would like. I also thought our server was very sweet and answered any questions if you had them. I don't know if people in the past wanted more information about the wine but I felt she explained them all thoroughly and appreciated that she didn't go on and let us enjoy our wine and food. The views were breathtaking! And you have the adorable Gia, the vineyard dog, who greets everyone when they arrive (she stays outside). I am so glad we chose this, they knocked it out of the park and for the price... you can't beat it!
