What are people saying about Poland

The customer service was...
The customer service was very quick to sort out a problem I had about the booking. The tour was well organised and so smooth from the beginning to the end. There was a time when we had to rush a little as there were many other groups of visitors and really busy there. But our driver and the guide were very experienced and they handled the situation so well that we managed to go through everything within the time we had. Booking this hotel pick guided tour was definitely a right choice we made. We might have not managed to see everything if I did not book this as we probably wasted time like to wait for train or bus, checking directions, queueing to get into the museum etc.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone.

So glad I got to...
So glad I got to experience this tour, albeit very sad. The whole day was ran very well, from the initial pick up at the hotel, the coach ride to Auschwitz and of course the tour around the camps. Our guide was very personable and very informative. I would definitely recommend this tour and especially with this tour operator.

Nearly a disaster
Was a great trip with fantastic very knowledgeable guides. Don't forget your id as I did for getting into Auschwitz. Thanks very much to our guide Kassa on coach 5 for managing to get my wife and I in with a pic of my driving licence that I managed to find on my phone

Excellent Trip would highly recomend!
There are “lots!” Of stairs down to the mine.
I was surprised how good the actual stairs were though, I expected the stairs to be made from the rock salt but they were wood and modern, so easily navigated, especially as you were going down!
Prepare for quite a bit of walking as there are literally miles under ground!!
The open mine was amazing, there were sculptures all made out of Salt (Obv)
My wife was finding the walking difficult (especially after the climb down) but one of the guides noticed this and when we walked towards the lifts back to the surface, as we were right at the back of our group, he directed us a different route and we went up a different lift. There were only 3 of us so we basically had our own lift and it brought us back to the surface, right near where our minibus was parked, rather than having to cram into a lift with lots of people and then have another quite long walk back to the minibus!
An excellent trip.
Our driver Jerry from Cracow For You was great he was in constant touch with us via WhatsApp and he even took us on a short sightseeing trip around Krakow on the way back.
10/10 would highly recommend this trip!!

Great insight into Zakopane region
The transport took roughly 1.5hrs each way (departing Krakow), to and from Zakopane. My guide, Kacper, was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. He was a great driver too!
The weather on this day (Tuesday 29th September) was perfect so you could see the mountains and take in the surroundings. Went on the cable car which is a must on this trip as the views are stunning. Make sure you check the weather before you go - it has to be a sunny clear day otherwise I feel it would be a wasted trip tbh. The other stops Kacper made gave a great insight into life in Zakopane region. Any question you asked of him, he knew the answer.
Had 3 hours to wander Zakopane myself and get some lunch. Kacper recommended a few spots and I chose Goralski Brower. It had very nice views of the mountains although what I chose to eat, the broth with noodles, was disappointing. But the Aperol spritz made up for it!
In all honesty, I wish I’d have stayed overnight in this region so I could have explored a lot more and maybe ventured a little further up the mountains. If you get the chance to do this, I think it would be worth it.

Knowing is different from standing in the place where it happened
Visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau is difficult and disturbing, but I am very glad I went. You can read about the Holocaust and know the numbers, but standing at Birkenau and seeing its enormous scale makes it real in a completely different way.
My advice is to read something beforehand—I read Night by Elie Wiesel—and give yourself time to absorb what you are seeing. Visit both Auschwitz I and Birkenau; they are very different experiences and both are essential.
It is not an easy day, but it is an important one. Seeing Auschwitz in person reminds you what human beings are capable of—and why remembering matters.

Long day but worth it
Salt mines were amazing. Yes, you have to walk down almost 400 steps. Not bad doing it but the next day - ouch - and I am in good shape. The concentration camps are somewhere everyone should visit. Never forget. Our guides were great - very informative.
My only negative is that the day was very long with no lunch stop (other than vending machine). Would recommend bringing your own sandwich!

As a family we really...
As a family we really enjoyed this tour. Highlight is the special highlander cheese (oscypek) and the thermal bath. There were plenty of time to spend in each stop. Another plus was we were in a small group of 10. Highly recommend. Kuba our guide told us a lot very informative Polish culture and history

Excellent tour
Excellent tour! Our driver Bartek offered to prepare a lunch for us between the two stops as there isnt much time to grab something to eat. There are only vending machines so if you are offered the lunch, take it. Our guide was great too, didnt just fire on ahead and didnt dilly dally either. He was extremely informative and very knowledgeable. The tours are 70% outdoors and walking so comfortable shoes and a jacket is ideal.

Highly recommended
The tour was outstanding. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about his work. As a Polish guide, he shared the history with great care and respect, helping us connect with the experience on a deeper level.
A special thank you also to our driver, who was exceptionally kind and patient throughout the day. He made the journey comfortable and stress-free, and his positive attitude was greatly appreciated.
Overall, it was a moving, well-organized, and memorable experience. Highly recommended.

Not the best experience
Booked to be collected at one time (8am) and multiple messages getting earlier and earlier so ended up two hours earlier than originally scheduled. This seams to be a theme.
Driver … “drove it like he stole it” with all passengers commented on hazardous driving in inclement weather.
Although the guide was knowledgeable on facts and figures, felt rushed around each area in Auschwitz too large a group crammed into small areas at a time making visibility to displays poor at times so by the time you were trying to look at one , guide was heading to next area and already started commentary… There were people with disabilities who could not keep up with guide at multiple points making whole trip not very disability friendly. No chance to read any displayed informational fact boards in attempts to keep up with information.
I feel like another trip there was needed to see what was missed.
Auschwitz its self is very thought provoking and I feel it’s a place that everyone should visit.

Magical Winter Day in Zakopane
We had an amazing trip in Zakopane! Our guide, Mati, was excellent — he arrived on time, took us to all the interesting spots, and explained everything clearly along the way. We visited traditional wooden cabins, tasted grilled cheese with local vodka, and enjoyed a beautiful cable-car ride.
We ended the day at the thermal baths with warm, relaxing water. There was snow everywhere, which made the whole experience even more magical. It was a wonderful, fun, and enjoyable day from start to finish. Highly recommended!
