Hotel Pickup Information Our driver will pick you up directly from your hotel, apartment, or designated meeting point in Krakow city center between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Small group transport by minivan (max 8 people in a Van) Your exact pickup time will be confirmed by email one day before the tour, usually around 12:00 PM. Pickup times vary daily and depend on the entry schedule assigned by the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum. Please bring a valid photo ID, passport, driving licence, or payment card. All entry tickets are issued individually and registered to each visitor, so identification may be required before entering the museum. If your accommodation is not listed during booking, please leave a note with your address. We will arrange the most convenient pickup location for you. Please note that the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum reserves the right to change the guided tour entry time, including changing morning visits to afternoon entry slots. In such cases, the tour schedule may be adjusted accordingly. This decision is made solely by the Museum and is beyond the tour operator's control.

Well organised and good value trip. We were notified of a pick up time the day before and were picked up promptly on the day.
Bartek,our driver was very friendly and explained everything. Upon arrival to Auschwitz we were grouped together and were on the tour with 15 mins which seemed very efficient.
The trip was informative and very eye opening.
I highly recommend this trip.

We could not have asked for more excellent emotional and enriching experience than we had with our tour guide for this tour of Auschwitz birkenau. Our guide, whose name I wish I remember an excellent, highly knowledgeable gentleman perhaps in his 30s took the time to explain everything in such detail and his emotion and countenance honestly added to the entire experience. He didn’t have to say anything that was his opinion he presented all of the facts and answered all of our questions and he contributed to such an overwhelmingly excellent enriching experience and we are appreciative and highly recommend him. Perhaps via tour can add his name to my review.

Excellent communication from both the driver (Bartek) and guide (Dorotea ….I think that was her name). Our guide’s personal connection with Auschwitz was very moving and added another level of insight to the experience. Well worth the trip. A huge packed lunch at a reasonable price was arranged by Bartek.
A definite must see to really experience and understand the horror of the holocost.

The visit was an overwhelming confirmation of how terrible this was for those brought to the camps. That people could actually treat other people like this is hard to believe. However, it is happening again in other places. There was a comment posted in the beginning of the tour “Those that don’t remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” By George Santayana. I suggest everyone learn about the holocaust, and the years leading up to it because there is a definite pattern recognizable to those who are paying attention. Marta was our guide and was quite good. Our driver, Bartek, was great as well.

Our tour guide was an amazing she told and showed us lots of interesting things and information that we weren’t aware of. The place it self is very sad due to the history there however I would definitely recommend people go see it. The only complaint I had was that I had numerous cheaper trips booked with Viator that kept getting cancelled so I ended up paying three times the original price that I booked

Obviously these historical sites are of the utmost importance to visit. A sobering and haunting experience, as it always would be. The tour was delivered by a brilliant guide, who clearly knows the history completely and with huge relevant detail. It was seamless in terms of our friendly, helpful, safe and communicative driver navigating the journeys, clear instructions throughout. Joining the group tour with requisite tickets provided on arrival to the first site. Communication between guide and driver led to it being slick and efficient. We would highly recommend, thank you.

I have wanted to visit Auschwitz for a long time.
Viator booking and organisation was good. We travelled in minibus with pick up from hotel with English speaking guide who provided excellent packed lunch
The tour organisation on two sites was efficient considering the numbers visiting.
Our English speaking guide was knowledgeable and provided us with facts and numbers which were difficult to process. I’m sure it’s a difficult job and following a busy Easter she seemed tired. We did not find her engaging and would have liked more people context.

We looked at lots of different trips to Auschwitz before booking this one, I'm glad we found it. Great service, picked up and dropped off outside our apartment (even though it wasn't on the list).
Friendly driver, nice and clean van/mini bus.
A very moving experience in Auschwitz, one that we have wanted to do for quite some time. Was easy when you get there, driver takes you to meet the guide and is waiting for you afterwards. Then driven to the second camp for another tour.
Won't forget it in a hurry!
There's alot of walking to do, I was very glad the weather was really good.
Would definitely recommend this tour!

A well organised and informative trip. Our driver, Bartek, arrived on time and gave us a very smooth ride to Auschwitz, we then were introduced to our tour guide who took us and our group around both Auschwitz and Birkenau, both were amazing. Moving at a good pace around the sights, our guide Symon gave us so much information and answered any questions we had, he was very passionate about what happened in Poland during ww2. We were then back with our driver who brought us safely back to Krakow.

We were lucky to get onto the tour as we left it a bit last minute to book it (the day before) but we couldnt have had a better experience. This was a great tour- the pick up, car, journey, tickets etc were all brilliant. It was really well organised. The tour itself is over two locations. The first you are introduced to your guide who shows you around. You have a headset so you can hear him- even when he is far away. There are lots of tours happening at the same time so it’s essential to have the headphones. They are included in the price. The first tour was around 1.5 hours. Then we went back to our car and had a 15 minute break. Bring lunch as there is only a vending machine. Then you are driven to site two which is 5 minutes away. You meet the same tour guide who shows you around again. This tour is around 1h and is without a headset as it is mostly outside so the tours are further apart. He did move quite fast so you have to keep up with him or your missed his information. It is a tour not to be missed- very harrowing and quite upsetting. It made me very angry. But I’m super glad we did it. If you have the time- I would absolute recommend as it’s something you’ll never for get. It was around 6h door to door, so bring drinks and something to eat/snacks for the car.

Great tour, pick up right outside our accommodation, very prompt. May have been luck of the draw but we couldn't understand the tour guide very well, but there were signs and boards around with information etc so was still a great experience!

Great transport, all on time and very comfortable - Driver (Bartek) was lovely. Auschwitz was very busy but the tour moved along smoothly through the various stages and we gained entry very quickly and each received a headset to listen to the tour guide. Very sad but definitely worth the visit.
