What are people saying about Gdansk

We covered a lot of...
We covered a lot of ground, moving through what seemed like the entire city. Our driver/guide, Noris C, was great! She was knowledgeable, personable, and eager to answer any and all questions. She even gave us her card and encouraged us to call her during the rest of our stay if we had further questions. This was a good framework for the rest of our sightseeing in Gdansk. We certainly enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to any first time visitor to Gdansk.

Great cruise, highly recommend!
The tour was incredible! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared fascinating information with a wonderful sense of humor, making the entire experience both informative and entertaining.
The cruise gave us the opportunity to see so many beautiful sights from the water—views you simply can’t experience the same way from land. Although the weather wasn’t particularly kind, the boats were thoughtfully equipped with umbrellas and warm blankets, so everyone stayed comfortable throughout the trip.
Overall, this was one of the best—if not the best—cruises I’ve ever taken, and I’ve been on quite a few. I highly recommend this company. They are a well-established, professional operator offering a wide variety of cruises in multiple languages, and it really shows that they know what they’re doing.
I would also highly recommend this tour for solo travelers. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish!

Wonderful Guide in a Fascinating City From Renaissance to Modern times
Tomasz Kujawski was an excellent guide. He was polite and very knowledgeable. He really shared the essence of Gdansk with us during our 2.5 hours together. From the Renaissance period through the WWII era and on to the Solidarity Movement he made the history of Gdansk come alive for us.

Sensational taste of Gdansk Food and Culture
Highly recommended. Bart hosts a very informative tour with a relaxed vibe and great food and drink. He has a great knowledge of both the food and history of Gdansk and Poland. As other reviewers have said make sure you start on an empty stomach! This is not a small tasting at every place tour. Our first stop was beer and charcuterie. Then Vodka and GoldWasser tastings followed by a full 3 course Polish dinner. In between lots of history and discussion. Five stars! Thank you Bart.

A must visit from Gdansk
I had not heard of Stuthoff prior to visiting Gdansk. It is a really important part of history. Seeing the site covered in snow was also really impactful, as it showed what the camp might have been like in winter and just how hard life must have been. We had a guide who spoke fair English and told many stories. It can seem a little rushed if you are trying to read the text on the displays, but it was manageable. The drivers were prompt, picking us up at both ends, and the drive from the hotel to the camp goes through really pretty countryside. For a really impactful visit, make sure to leave time to visit the WWII museum in Gdansk after visiting Stutthof.

Excellent instruction/supervision
Excellent instruction with humour added. It used to be fully automatic packages but sadly that has had to be restricted due to wannabe John McClanes wrecking the range. Despite the restriction I still enjoyed the shooting due to the instruction/supervision,

A wonderful way to experience nature AND the city!
It was a fabulous experience. And, as would be expected, it does require a degree of maintained physical exertion. The waterway has other watercraft traveling by, and depending on windiness of the day and the speed and size of other craft, there can be some waves.

This is an informative...
This is an informative and enjoyable tour, with a very knowledgeable guide. The exercise is moderate but many cobblestone old streets may make it challenging for some riders. The group was able to see several parts of the old city and the remarkable growth in new construction. The history and presentation of the Solidarity shipyard site was a particular interest., and the narrative of the political changes in Gdansk from medieval to current times was one that every serious student of history should enjoy. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone able to participate.

Simon is a great tour van driver
The trip is titled Malbork Castle tour but I'd have to say that I learned more about Poland on the hour travel to and back than I did on the actual tour. Simon provided so many interesting stories. I would gladly book another trip with him.
Regarding the castle, it is beautiful and I am so glad that they could reconstruct so much after WWII destruction. I really liked the draw bridges and gates. Our tour guide was well informed. I also enjoyed seeing the individual living quaters and the grand rooms. The only part of the tour that i felt was not needed is the amber exhibit as these can be seen in the Amber museum in Gdansk. There are a few negatives. This is not a place for the physically handicapped. There are many steps, some without handrails. I use a cane and had trouble maneuving several stairs. Also, most of the pathways are made up of uneven height stones which were difficult for many of our group after 3 hours of walking.

Gdansk 2hr Golf Buggy Tour
Our guide Michael was fantastic. Exceptionally, polite, knowledgeable and engaging. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and saw many fantastic sights, which Michael gave captivating commentary on. His knowledge of the history of Poland and Gdansk is exceptional. This is a perfect way to start your trip to Gdansk and get an independent overview of the city and its interesting history. 100% would recommend. Thank you Michael for an amazing afternoon!

Thank you Maciej for Introducing Me to Gdansk!
I had a wonderful time on this golf cart tour! It is, hands down, the best way to get your bearings in Gdansk without wearing out your shoes. We covered so much ground, from the historic Royal Route to the more tucked-away corners of the city that you’d likely miss on a standard walking tour.
The absolute highlight, however, was my guide, Maciej. He was incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional. His passion for Gdansk’s history is contagious, and he shared so many fascinating stories that really brought the city to life. It felt personalized and relaxed rather than rehearsed.
Pros:
• Maciej’s friendly personality made the experience feel special.
• Great for all ages and mobility levels.
• Covered all the major landmarks efficiently.
If you’re visiting Gdansk, do yourself a favor and book this. It’s worth every penny!

Amazing Tour
Bożena is a wonderful tour guide. She is a local. She knows many of the area’s hidden treasures. We walked around Gdansk and she pointed out some historical sites. She took me to some great locations in Sopot. In Gdynia, we went to an area that overlooks the city and then we went to the port. This tour is a great experience. I learned a lot.
