- [DOCUMENTS] **Full names of all participants MUST be provided during booking (the same as on ID or passport, no nicknames). Passport or ID is MANDATORY for each participant and will be checked. No ID = NO ENTRY!**
- [VISIT] Guided group tour only, no individual pacing. Respectful behavior and smart casual dress required. Eating, smoking, and loud behavior are not allowed.
- [PICKUP] Some Krakow hotels are in traffic-restricted zones. Pickup will be arranged from the nearest accessible point and you will be informed in advance.
- [LUNCH] Lunch is not included. There is no time for a full meal between visits, and no food facilities on-site, so please bring a snack.
- [SECURITY] An airport-style security check is required before entering the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum.
- [WEATHER] The tour runs in all weather. Up to 70% of the visit takes place outdoors, so please dress appropriately and bring water on warm days.
- [CHILDREN] Children must be accompanied by an adult. Infant seats are available. Due to the sensitive nature of the site, the tour is recommended for ages 13+.
- [PHOTOS] Photography is allowed except in marked areas. Flash is not permitted inside buildings.
- [RENOVATIONS] Due to roadworks in western Krakow, pickups in that area are not possible. The Straszewskiego 19 meeting point is temporarily closed. We will arrange a nearby alternative if needed.

The actual sight was amazing and very emotional.
However, it was rushed and you had to keep to a fast pace. I would have liked more time to reflect on the surroundings and show our respect.
Our tour driver wasn't much help and didn't speak to us much in English but his colleague explained the procedure of the day on the coach and at the venue in 3 other languages. We felt very much out of the loop. There were at least half British on the coach. The coach did arrive on time and at the place agreed. Overall it was value for money.

The tour was well organized, the English speaking guide on the bus was very competent and the bus driver drove carefully. Full marks there.
Anyone with any mobility issues should be aware that there is a lot of walking on the tour, especially in Birkenau.
Because there were more than 30 of us on the bus, they had to divide us into two groups for the guided tour of Auschwitz and similarly in Birkenau. We are native English speakers but unfortunately the guide assigned to our half of the bus was Polish. While her English was technically very good, she spoke far too fast, almost like reciting from a rehearsed script. This made it very difficult to understand what she was saying. I did ask her to slow down, which she did, but after a few minutes she resumed her fast pace.

Shocking & sad but well worth going. There's a lot of walking, so wear sensible shoes. Our Auschwitz & Birkenau guide was Magda, and she was excellent. Our Viator driver was punctual & polite. All in all, an excellent tour - would recommend.

It was a pleasant round trip and very punctual. It was a rushed day, although it’s nice to fit in both sites. It would’ve been nice to have a chance to reflect and take a moment to respect the area. There was one 15 min break before the second site, no chance to really eat. The driver had us stand and eat outside of the car since there was no eating in his vehicle.

Excellent communication from the company. Timekeeping was superb and the tour guide to and from Auschwitz Birkenau was excellent. He explained everything very clearly and nothing was too much trouble for him.
We've only given 4 stars because the guide at Auschwitz Birkenau was very difficult to understand. He spoke very very quickly.

This is not a tour for the elderly my mother is 80 and they don’t have time for elderly people I took her to toilets and came back couldn’t find any off my party to find they had went without us I was devastated as they wouldn’t let us go in with another tour and then to make matters worse we had to sit outside in -3 and snow for 1hr 30 until the group came out the bus was all locked up so couldn’t get on that my mum is 80 and her grandkids had saved to give her this for her birthday we got into second camp but the tour marched on and my we mum was to slow for them so we ended up doing our own tour and it wasn’t just her there were a couple that were a little slower just a sham to be fair and company has no intention off reimbursing us for tickets absolutely a disgrace 🤬

Please understand that Auschwitz-Birkenau is not designed for slow-paced walking, and the tour is not ideally suited for those with mobility issues. The guides have a strict schedule to follow in order to cover all the essential areas within the limited time allocated by the museum. As a result, they must keep a certain pace, which can be challenging for guests who need more time.
We fully recognize how this can be difficult for elderly visitors, and it’s always our goal to ensure everyone has a respectful and meaningful experience. For future tours, we recommend private or smaller group tours that allow for more flexibility in pace, especially for guests with slower walking speeds.

This was an excellent trip. From the moment I booked it via ViaTor, the communication was excellent with updates on pick ups etc.
Our driver and guide, Michal, was very polite and informative. I was expecting him to be our actual guide at Auchwitz-Birkenau, but he was excellent, and provide many interesting and moving facts about the camps.
The camps themselves, well you cannot out into words the suffering that took place there, but the displays are very well and sympathetically done. The entrance to Auchwitz is a brutal concrete structure which prepares you for the brutality of what took place there.
The tour was very moving and at times I was lost for words. This trip is a must if you visit Krakow.
Prepare for it to take up the whole day. We got stuck behind a few slow moving vehicles there and back so it was just over 8 hours in total, and there’s a lot of walking. But all of this is totally worth it.

Wow what an experience! Communication was on point ! Our pickup was 5:55 and was on the dot was greeted by our driver patryk, who was an amazing driver and host , 11/10 for him he was so friendly and accomodating . The trip itself was well organised and we were back before 1 , all details was explained to us , we were in a car of 4 people and then the tour itself was with around 20 people , so not to packed ! I would highly recommend booking this tour with this company . The first camp tour was around 1 hour 30 minutes and we had a 15 minute break after where we could get food at the cafe then headed to the second camp birkenau which was shorter but was the perfect amount . Book this trip worth the money , ease of mind ! Thanks again

Great arrangement by Hello Krakow (through Viator, of course). Van with a limited number of people.
Pre-tour: Super communication from Patrycja of the Hello Krakow team. Excellent.
Pick-up: On time. Max was a great driver with good conversation about Poland. Long drive from Krakow to the camps.
The tour: Arrangements at Auschwitz and Birkenau were excellent. The guide/educator Christoph was passionate and gave us a clear picture of the history, plus books to read afterwards. Wow.
Tip: I ordered lunch through Hello Krakow: do this, since there's not much time between the Auschwitz and Birkenau tours.
Weather note: It was cold, sub-freezing, and mostly outdoors, so dress warmly. (January 2026)

This was a well organised tour that allowed us to see the two locations with plenty of time. Our guide was as incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the camps. It is hard to describe how great the day was when the locations are so awful in their histories. Would recommend that everyone should do this tour.

This is the “go to” company.
I did the tour twice within three days.
This company “buys tickets with your name on it”.,, the other company had us standing outside the gate at 4am to buy “same day entry?” I guess? They only stated that people queue up in long lines outside for the tour.
Great and timely pick up and return.
Very friendly. Transfer from one camp to other.
Worth every penny and then some.
You don’t get to select your tour guide.
Day 1 I had a phenomenal guide with 27 years experience who “told” the story.
Day 2 was a new guide who shared the “academic” version.
Be patient and understanding of your guide.

A tour of Auschwitz is absolutely worth doing, but I was disappointed in this tour. First, I booked a 7:15 am tour, and then they messaged me two days before saying my tour wouldn't leave until 1:30. Second, I didn't think the tour guide did the best job of conveying the horror of what happened there. Third, it was raining, and it seemed like the tour guide skipped over some locations to make it shorter.
