- [DOCUMENTS] **Full names of all participants MUST be provided during booking (the same as on ID or passport, no nicknames). Passport or ID is MANDATORY for each participant and will be checked. No ID = NO ENTRY!**
- [VISIT] Guided group tour only, no individual pacing. Respectful behavior and smart casual dress required. Eating, smoking, and loud behavior are not allowed.
- [PICKUP] Some Krakow hotels are in traffic-restricted zones. Pickup will be arranged from the nearest accessible point and you will be informed in advance.
- [LUNCH] Lunch is not included. There is no time for a full meal between visits, and no food facilities on-site, so please bring a snack.
- [SECURITY] An airport-style security check is required before entering the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum.
- [WEATHER] The tour runs in all weather. Up to 70% of the visit takes place outdoors, so please dress appropriately and bring water on warm days.
- [CHILDREN] Children must be accompanied by an adult. Infant seats are available. Due to the sensitive nature of the site, the tour is recommended for ages 13+.
- [PHOTOS] Photography is allowed except in marked areas. Flash is not permitted inside buildings.
- [RENOVATIONS] Due to roadworks in western Krakow, pickups in that area are not possible. The Straszewskiego 19 meeting point is temporarily closed. We will arrange a nearby alternative if needed.

Picked up from hotel. Small group of 8 in Mercedes van. Everything was very organized. Met tour guide after getting to Auschwitz. Very knowledgeable. Would recommend.

The guide was uninterested and dispassionate and walked quickly uninterrupted through the buildings took no questions gave no information other than basics Very disappointed. Felt i was being led through a disney park. I would have preferred a small or semi private tour with a knowledgable compassionate guide

Our Catholic pilgrimage had an itinerary change and were not going to be going to Auschwitz after all, so we booked this for our free afternoon/evening. It was very convenient to be picked up at the hotel & the price was reasonable. Our guide at the camps was very informative and we really felt like we learned new information from him.

Auschwitz and Birkenau were both incredibly moving and sobering to visit, with Birkenau in particular leaving a powerful impression because of its scale and historical significance. An excellent tour with a very knowledgeable guide. Pawel was excellent throughout the entire tour and the level of information he gave in each of the locations was excellent. Pick up from our hotel was on time and we had a little stop off just before the tour started to get a bite to eat. Anyone visiting Auschwitz then this tour is definitely worth booking.

The amount of stars is for the company HelloCracow, NOT the Auschwitz-Birkenau tour.
The tour itself was, well there really isnt the correct word for it. The atmosphere is heavy but the official guide was extremely respectful and informative. I would 100% recommend going. Its an extremely important, devastating part of history.
The company running it however...
This is NOT a hotel pick up as stated and despite confirmation.
Luckily we were not far from the bus stop. We got a call from the leader Lera which was appreciated.
Before the return trip, we were given a break and told to meet back at the bus at 11.40. We chose to go and sit in the shade in the car park as it was around 27 degrees.
We headed back to the coach just before 11.30 - ten minutes early - for Lera to be looking for us and throwing her arms in the air impatiently. I asked if we'd gotten the time wrong but was told we were the last back and were made to feel like criminals.

A time in history that should NEVER be forgotten. The visit was emotioally difficult, but necessary. The camps were massive and the treatment of innocent people was unbelievably horrific. A visit to Poland should include a visit to Auschwitz Bircanau.

I felt that we were rushed through Auschwitz with exhibit rooms having to be vacated as following groups were close behind. It's not Viator but rather the press of people being put through the museum. As for timings take note that Viator do not guarantee the tour start time. We went from 1130 booked to 1305 start. Others on our coach went from 0800 to 1305. Finally, be aware that Bikenau is a very big area and not suitable for anyone who struggles walking distance

The actual sight was amazing and very emotional.
However, it was rushed and you had to keep to a fast pace. I would have liked more time to reflect on the surroundings and show our respect.
Our tour driver wasn't much help and didn't speak to us much in English but his colleague explained the procedure of the day on the coach and at the venue in 3 other languages. We felt very much out of the loop. There were at least half British on the coach. The coach did arrive on time and at the place agreed. Overall it was value for money.

The tour was well organized, the English speaking guide on the bus was very competent and the bus driver drove carefully. Full marks there.
Anyone with any mobility issues should be aware that there is a lot of walking on the tour, especially in Birkenau.
Because there were more than 30 of us on the bus, they had to divide us into two groups for the guided tour of Auschwitz and similarly in Birkenau. We are native English speakers but unfortunately the guide assigned to our half of the bus was Polish. While her English was technically very good, she spoke far too fast, almost like reciting from a rehearsed script. This made it very difficult to understand what she was saying. I did ask her to slow down, which she did, but after a few minutes she resumed her fast pace.

Shocking & sad but well worth going. There's a lot of walking, so wear sensible shoes. Our Auschwitz & Birkenau guide was Magda, and she was excellent. Our Viator driver was punctual & polite. All in all, an excellent tour - would recommend.

It was a pleasant round trip and very punctual. It was a rushed day, although it’s nice to fit in both sites. It would’ve been nice to have a chance to reflect and take a moment to respect the area. There was one 15 min break before the second site, no chance to really eat. The driver had us stand and eat outside of the car since there was no eating in his vehicle.

Excellent communication from the company. Timekeeping was superb and the tour guide to and from Auschwitz Birkenau was excellent. He explained everything very clearly and nothing was too much trouble for him.
We've only given 4 stars because the guide at Auschwitz Birkenau was very difficult to understand. He spoke very very quickly.

I booked the organized tour for Auschwitz and Birkenau along with my husband and we were extremely satisfied with it.
It was very well organised;
The pickup and dropoff at our address made it easy and stress free.
The driver was very knowledgeable of polish history and told us many things about his country we didn't know.

This is not a tour for the elderly my mother is 80 and they don’t have time for elderly people I took her to toilets and came back couldn’t find any off my party to find they had went without us I was devastated as they wouldn’t let us go in with another tour and then to make matters worse we had to sit outside in -3 and snow for 1hr 30 until the group came out the bus was all locked up so couldn’t get on that my mum is 80 and her grandkids had saved to give her this for her birthday we got into second camp but the tour marched on and my we mum was to slow for them so we ended up doing our own tour and it wasn’t just her there were a couple that were a little slower just a sham to be fair and company has no intention off reimbursing us for tickets absolutely a disgrace 🤬

Make sure you wrap up warm, picked up from hotel promptly by friendly driver with a text to say he’d be with us shortly. Guide at camps was very knowledgeable and kept the group well informed, but boy was it cold

This is a good but harrowing tour; highlighting the atrocities of the Holocaust and the appalling conditions the prisoners were subjected to.

This was an excellent trip. From the moment I booked it via ViaTor, the communication was excellent with updates on pick ups etc.
Our driver and guide, Michal, was very polite and informative. I was expecting him to be our actual guide at Auchwitz-Birkenau, but he was excellent, and provide many interesting and moving facts about the camps.
The camps themselves, well you cannot out into words the suffering that took place there, but the displays are very well and sympathetically done. The entrance to Auchwitz is a brutal concrete structure which prepares you for the brutality of what took place there.
The tour was very moving and at times I was lost for words. This trip is a must if you visit Krakow.
Prepare for it to take up the whole day. We got stuck behind a few slow moving vehicles there and back so it was just over 8 hours in total, and there’s a lot of walking. But all of this is totally worth it.
