- Two days before the tour we will send you exact pick up time from your location.
- Since now, for all bookings made for 2020 for Auschwitz-Birkenau tour, we need surname and name of every participant (the same as in their ID or PASSPORT). If we will not get it, we will not be able to buy entrance tickets to Auschwitz-Birkenau Museu.
- Please make sure to bring with you to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum, ID or PASSPORT, because the guards will ask about it before enter. Without it, you will not be able to enter the museum.

Very informative tour. Michael the tour guide was excellent. Either bring your own lunch or order one from the tour operator. Coach driver Dominic was very helpful.
I cant imagine visiting Auschwitz-Birkinau without a guide. The day was very informative and well organized. Well with buying the packed lunch as well.
Excellent tour! Our driver Bartek offered to prepare a lunch for us between the two stops as there isnt much time to grab something to eat. There are only vending machines so if you are offered the lunch, take it. Our guide was great too, didnt just fire on ahead and didnt dilly dally either. He was extremely informative and very knowledgeable. The tours are 70% outdoors and walking so comfortable shoes and a jacket is ideal.
Booked pickup 09:30 due to arrival of familimembers 08:00 same day. 15 hours before pick ut time I recevied a confirmation of pickup 06:00 which obviously is impossible. I had a long and tiresome conversation on chat of change which was impossible. Asked for a cancel and refund and was granted by one person and then rejected by another. Now have an unsettled case pending. Total waste of time and very frustrating when planning a trip.
Well organised from the moment of pick up from our hotel. Our driver, Daniel, was helpful. The experience in the museum was extremely moving and thought provoking. Not a cheerful day at all but an important learning experience.

Our driver Daniel was excellent! He provided the pick up time for the tour the day before, confirmed the pick up location and offered to provide a box lunch for 60 Zloty per person. The drive was just over an hour each way with the bonus of seeing more of the city and lovely countryside. The tour itself was good, with provided headsets so we could hear our English speaking guide. Overall the tour was good and meaningful, but it felt a bit rushed at times with other groups right ahead and behind on our heels. The box lunch was very good and generous. We were contacted by our driver Daniel the afternoon before our trip with details of pickup time and asked if we would like a packed lunch for 60zloty as there was limited time between the 2 tours. We had one which was sufficient and was as described and good quality. The transport was minivan and as the last pickup we were in the front with the driver. This was ok but not ideal as space was limited. The actual tour of Auschwitz was well done and the tour guide informative. I did feel the tour of Birkenau could have been just a little longer . The journey back to Krakow was uneventful and we were back in good time.
We were given all the information required in advance. Pick up was on time, driver courteous and friendly. Ordered the packed lunch which was very nice and reasonably priced. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and spoke well. Return to hotel was again very comfortable. A very well organised trip with no issues at all.

Visiting Birkenau was one of the most profound and emotionally overwhelming experiences of my life. It is not a place you “enjoy” in the traditional sense, but rather one you feel deeply. Walking through the vast grounds, seeing the endless rows of barracks and the remnants of what once stood there, brings a heavy silence that words can barely capture. It forces you to confront a dark chapter of human history in a very real and personal way.
What struck me most was the scale of it all — the sheer size of the camp is almost impossible to comprehend until you are standing there yourself. The railway tracks leading into the camp are haunting, a powerful symbol of the countless lives that arrived there, many never to leave. It’s a place filled with sorrow, but also with remembrance.
Despite the heartbreak, I believe visiting Birkenau is incredibly important. It serves as a stark reminder of where hatred and intolerance can lead if left unchecked. It encourages reflection, empathy, and a deeper appreciation for humanity and compassion.
I left feeling heavy, but also grateful — grateful for the opportunity to bear witness, to remember, and to honour those who suffered and lost their lives. It is an experience that stays with you long after you leave, and one that I believe everyone should undertake at least once in their lifetime.

Take a light lunch and a drink. Wear comfortable footwear, there is a lot of walking, we did 12,000 steps !! Be prepared to be humbled. Tissues a must for the faibt hearted. Enjoy your guide, ours was brilliant.

Quite a bit of walking, it’s quite emotional to listen to and need to wrap up in the winter as the wind blows around the buildings.we had no time to stop and eat so bring lunch.
To know the history is one thing, but to see it up close and to understand the scope of this tragedy is quite another.
Our guide was fantastic and his commentary suited what we were seeing and hearing.
I am impressed by the polish governments dedication to preserving exactly as they found it and educating people appropriately.

Everything was very well organised and professional right from the beginning. We'd read reviews of other operators that had concerned us, but there was nothing to be concerned about here! Daniel picked us up exactly on time (5:50am) and drove us to the site, where we walked past the long ticket queue (that was worth the cost of the tour, right there!), straight into the grounds, and met our tour guide for the morning. The tour itself was informative and conducted in a respectful manner. We were back in the city by lunchtime. I would highly recommend this tour!
Overall, this was a good tour. In terms of the role of the guide from Krakow, more or less this is a driver service. However, our driver was very nice, punctual and efficient. In terms of the experience at Auschwitz, it is a profoundly important place and one I think people should visit just to fully appreciate the scale of the atrocities that happened there. That being said, crowd control is a huge issue with the displays at Auschwitz I (as opposed to Auschwitz II Birkenau) being absolutely overrun with people. It was hard to get a good look at the displays or read anything and the visit felt somewhat rushed. Our tour guide also was not wonderful (but please not the tour guides are supplied by the Memorial and the tour company from Krakow has zero control over this aspect). I had visited Dachau previously which was a better overall experience from an educational perspective, but the enormous importance of Auschwitz in understanding the depths to which human beings can sink is immeasurable and makes it worth visiting even if the experience itself in the sites is less than ideal

Our guide, Robert is execellent. He picked us from our hotel in the morning and arranged for our lunch (optional extra) and after the tour he had dropped us back to our hotel. During the drive, he had shown us a couple of documentaries about the camps and shared many information about the dark events. The tour takes you to the dark period of History, the Holocust. In Auschwitz-Birkenau camps, more than a million people were killed in the guest Chambers. The tour shared the details of what had happened to the victims and how they had suffered. It also emphasizes to learn from our history and not to repeat the same mistakes.
Driver was on time, he was courteous and pleasant, drive through the countryside was beautiful. Van was newer and clean. Auschwitz tour guide was very good.
Pick up and drop off was excellent and Daniel really looked after us. We asked for a picnic which he provided ( at reasonable cost) and his minibus was comfortable and clean. No issue with getting our tickets at the Museum and our English speaking guide was really good. This is a reality shock tour and we knew it could be challenging. We are glad we did it and the fact that so many young people were there gives us some hope for the future.
The tour picked us up at 05:50 and we were back by 13:00. We were picked up from our apartment in an 8 person minibus and the driving was good and safe. Daniel our driver was lovely, he texted the day before offering to provide lunch for 89zl for the tour which some people took up. The tour included 'skip the line' tickets which we were very grateful for in the rain as the other queues were very long, even at 07:30! The tour itself was lead by a tour guide and was very informative and sensitive. The headsets and headphones were very clear and easy to hear which was excellent. Our group was approx 30 people but it was all very respectful. Daniel drive us between the 2 camps and our tour guide met us at the second camp for the second half. It was a 1:15 minute drive, 10 minutes toilet break, 2 hour tour, 15 minute break driving between camps, 1.5 hour second tour then the 1.15 hour drive home, so only short breaks for food and toilets. Auschzwitz itself was mostly outside, standing and walking (no seats) and had stairs and uneven ground.
A very well planned day, would definitely recommend.
