They cancelled without notice on the day of our tour. We waited for over an hour for them to come and collect us. Offered no compensation. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM! Totally disappointed and ruined our holiday. Cannot believe they are asking for a review!!!

HUGE SCAM!!! They don’t provide what you pay for. They sell Auschwitz tours claiming the tickets are “guaranteed skip-the-line”. In reality, all they provide is a bus ride to Auschwitz, where a fake “guide” just tells you how to queue for 4 hours. Our original departure time was 6:00 am. At 4:00 pm the day before, we were suddenly told the departure was moved to 3:00 am, just to be first in line and maybe get tickets. So you end up waiting at least 3 hours outside, in the cold Polish night, hoping to finally enter. And of course, since this notice comes less than 24 hours before departure, you can’t get your money back. No matter what the company replies to my comment there was absolutely no mention that we would have to queue for hours. The so-called “guaranteed skip-the-line” simply does not exist. It is truly disgraceful to exploit such a place of memory with a scam like this, making money off people in such a disrespectful way.

Booked and paid in full for 5 of us to go to the camps. Had multiple confirmation emails and had been sent over the camp tickets onto the Viator app and a collection point had been agreed where we was to be picked up from. Got a 15 min taxi to the collection point and had arrived 15 mins earlier. No sign of the driver anywhere. Waited 45 mins and then called viator who said they will contact my driver and assured they was going to be on their way. Another 30 mins later no sign so called back only to be told on the phone our trip was full so had been cancelled without informing me. Ruined our weekend here in krakow as this was what we was here for. I dont see how the trip was full and therefore cancelled if I had the camp tickets and paid with confirmation. Won't ever use this service again and will certainly not be recommended.

Transfer by bus was an excellent choice for us. Our driver was on time and we had a smooth trip to and from our destination. Our guide was absolutely fantastic. Her knowledge and delivery of it was outstanding. This is a tour that must be taken. Be prepared for a roller coaster of emotions. This history must never be forgotten.

Bus had no aircon and was booking for the entire journey there and back. Your guide kept walking off at his own pace not waiting for people to catch up before talking. The guy on the bus phoned 5 minutes before we needed to be there saying he would wait 5 minutes longer. Then slept the entire journey to auschwitz couldn’t be bothered to talk about what would happen so put on a pointless video with subtitles and no sound that you could not read absolutely useless guide poorly managed trip rushed round the trip because they wanted to get back home.

The way he passed all the information was not just dry facts but you could really feel how emotionally invested he was in the history of Auschwitz. He was one of the best tour guides I have met during my travels.

I should have listened to the poor reviews. The tour ‘company’ don’t buy the tickets in advance, so they just pick you up in a coach and take you to Auschwitz, where you join a queue for general public, in the hope of securing a ticket. They always change the booking time the day before, by text message. Our original pickup time was 5:30am, but was changed to 4am! They pick you up early to try and get to the front of the queue. You’ll spend 2 hours waiting in the freezing cold and the person that takes you on the coach won’t give any explanation- quite a stressful experience. Once you’re in, it’s only the official tour guides from the museum that take you around the sites, luckily. I would highly recommend going, but book directly on the website, as this is basically just bad transport. Get yourself a taxi there and buy the tickets directly

After we had paid for the trip we were informed that we would be picked up at 5.30 a.m on the Sunday morning. Whilst this was very early, especially considering we travelled at 3.00 a.m on the Friday morning, we agreed. The trip was free cancellation up to 24 hours before pick up so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that we weren't notified of the pick up time being changed until 8.45 on Saturday morning. They expected us to be collected at 4.00 a.m as they had failed to secure tickets for the agreed time. We were not willing to get up at 3.00 a.m again and so refused to accept the change of time. Had we been notified earlier we could obviously have cancelled f.o.c or of course they could have done their job properly and secured the correct tickets. When I replied to their message saying we would not accept the time change I requested our money be returned or that we should at least receive a credit for a later date. I have had no response to my message which just undelines for me how pre-meditated this has all been. There are plenty of sites offering this trip and I would suggest looking closely at them all but under no circumstances use this company.

Discover Cracow tour was booked with 5.30am departure. This was changed to 4am the previous day. We queued out in the cold for 3 hours with no information other than as you asked. Eventually passengers returned themselves to bus to wait out of cold. We were only thankful that we did get into see Auschwitz as they obviously had no pre arranged tickets. We paid £450 for 8 of us.

The host did not have the booklets ready, we had to wait. Not sure why we paid when the actual visit is a free experience. It feels like we were taken advantage off. We needed to leave 30 min early, asked another bus driver from the same company and he had seats available to take us to Krakov earlier… he asked us to pay him 20 Zlt. Very disappointed, cannot believe I paid for this poor experience. Zero information was provided by driver or tour host. Would not recommend. Felt like a scheme

Bad experience - I not recommend

1st try - The guide didn't have our tickets but she needed so much time to tell us that we would need to go to the end of the line than the daily tickets over and we couldn't see the place. And she just said, "It's not my fault, complain with Discover Krakow". 2dn try - After complaining with the company, they put me on another trip, in the next day, to see Auschwitz. I lost my entire second day in Krakow because of this mistake. But the guide just gave us a book, said "Take this book" and disappeared. And when I complain to the company by WhatsApp, they told me to come out, back to the bus, one hour earlier than planned, because the van would be going back to Krakow. And when I came to the van, no one was there and I needed to wait one hour until we go to Krakow.

The most memorable part of the experience was waiting in a queue for over 3 hours to be told that there’s no more tickets left to enter the museum! And then to be fobbed off by the tour guide, don’t book through any app go to Aruthwitwz yourself! Free entry to the museum! Don’t waste your money through these companies, who just take your money and don’t follow through with anything that you pay for!

When we arrived at Auschwitz the bus driver told us that the museum was full, so our tour was cancelled. He told us that we can stay there in Auschiwtz and try to get the tickets by ourselves (paying for them again) and later arrange our return to Cracow on our own (paying again the bus fare), or return to Cracow with him. Our obvious choice (all the passengers) was to return to Cracow for obvious reasons. I want the full refund of the money that I paid for a tour that was cancelled by you. Besides, I paid tickets from Kielce to Cracow and return, just for this canceled tour. The driver was totally useless, taking no responsibility for the fiasco. He didn’t have our tickets, nothing. Only keep telling that we should contact Viator for reimbursement. Besides, he didn’t speak English. How do I get a full refund? What’s the procedure.

I wouldn't recommend it since the agency didn't book the visit to a museum as it was stated in the offer, so we had to wait for 2 hours to get a free slot at the sight. Moreover, there wasn't a clear information about which bus we need to take for the return, which we apparently missed and had to buy new tickets.

Payed more than twice the price do to political problems with the guides, and the first one (cancelled) was with a guide. Payed for ”skipp the lines” tickets, and than had to stand in line anyway. Pickup was not organized well. Really feels like I payed for LOT more than I got. A real missuse of the situation from the tour. This was my 5:th time (been there with all my children now) and this was the most expensive one, and onlyone without guide.

Tour company lost my ticket

My ticket had been lost by my guide who met us at the bus stop at Auschwitz although he had my wife and daughters ticket. He told me he would fix it and just go Birkenau where I didn’t need a ticket, he took my name and said to go straight to the ticket desk when I returned from Birkenau and it round be waiting for me. Well I did need a ticket for Birkenau and the ticket for Auschwitz was not waiting for me at the ticket desk when I came back. Very poor customer service and attention from our guide which spoiled our day. I do not recommend this tour company. Auschwitz-Birkenau was otherwise a worthwhile visit.

Excellent value for money but in hindsight it was such a rainy/ windy day we found it impossible to hold our umbrella and read the guide book and wish we had done a guided tour . Be prepared for a long day ( we walked 9 miles around both sites and bring lunch if you don’t get it provided . A very humble and unforgettable experience.

We attended this tour after being let down last minute by another company. They were very professional and experienced. The driver spoke good English and was very thorough. Very reasonable proced for what you get especially as I didnt realise auschwitz is an hour and half away from krakow.

This is not tour, just a service which buys you bus tickets (you ride with a intercity bus), a guidebook, and tickets to the museum. Time is quite limited, and you have to really hurry to see everything

It's one of those, I want to do it/ don't want to do it trips. It will stick in your memory for ever. Auschwitz is at 2 locations connected by a free shuttle bus every 10 min. It's worth noting that it's actually free to get into Auschwitz but you have to book a time slot for Auschwitz 1' which can be done on the web site in advance to secure a slot. The £16 paid is actually for a public coach ticket from the coach station in Krakow with a guide available as you get off.She just gave us all a guide book which is nice and would normally cost around £5) and gave us our tickets. I suppose having it all booked by someone else makes it easier but you can book it all yourself. The train station is close by also. You can opt for tour guide trips but more expensive. In Krakow we were quoted £48 a person for transport and guide which is ridiculous. The guide book and the signs around the site is enough I feel and let's you explore at your own pace.

Rude tour guide

I booked this tour for me and my 60 year old father. The pick up was late. They asked us to be at the meeting point at 11:15 am. They picked us up at 11:40 The driver "Chris" picked us up in a personal car saying we were really lucky that the van was full and they didn't have enough space for us. Now we were going to have a "private tour" he was really nice on the way there. When we got to Birkenau it was raining (its all outdoors), he told us to meet him back at Auschwitz I at 3:55 to enter the museum at 4:00. Since it was raining a lot we ended up we had to take cover a few times and it caused us to arrive to auschwitz at 4:06. ( I called him at 3:40 to let him know) He was livid! Mad! When I saw him I waved at him and told him! Hi! We are back! He said yes, but you are late! He switched from being this nice guy to a complete jerk, super rude and everything I told him he had a come back about how we were late. We went into Auschwitz at 4:15 toured around and were ready to leave at 5:45. We came outside and called him. He said to wait for him 5 min, he picked us up to take us back to krakow. The entire way back he kept going back and forth about us being late from birkenau. Even though we completed both places in 15 minutes less than the estimated time.

Excellent tour. The meeting point in Krakow was easy to find. The drive to Auschwitz was smooth. I'd read about other tours that showed a video on the way to the concentration camp and would have liked to see that on our way. The local guide was fantastic, although I do wish we had been given some time on our own - to reflect and explore. It did feel quite rushed. Lunch was a brown-bagged lunch with sandwiches, fruit, etc. Tasty and filling, but we only had a short time to eat it. This was the only tour I've been on where we weren't given time to visit any of the shops - and for once I would have liked to! The guide mentioned several books and I would have liked the opportunity to look for them.

A must see

During in the 2nd World War, the Nazis eradicated 1,300,000 people of which 1,100,000 Jews in these camps. Here everything had reuse value: clothes, shoes, hair, golden teeth... The only thing without value was the people being transported to the camps. The visit made a lasting impression - and can only be recommended.
