We had a great time!...

We had a great time! Elliot and Sonya were awesome on the boat and really catered the experience to everyone on board. We saw a manatee right when we got on the boat, many dolphins, birds, and even a whole group of leatherback turtles. Our family found a ton of unique shells on the beach. When we returned Kathleen even gave us a ride back to our hotel and showed us some burrowing owls and tortoises. Can’t recommend this enough!

A Unique Experience

Rammel was our host guide and what a great job he does. Nothing was too much trouble and he made sure everyone was familiar with the equipment before we set off. The peddle kayaks are so easy on the legs that you hardly know you're doing anything. We saw some amazing things in and around the mangroves and again, Rammel explained about the natural world around us. He took plenty of pictures for everyone to have at the end as a treasured memory of a brilliant couple of hours on the water. Just do it, you won't regret it!

Great time!

We booked last minute but they hit it out of the park!! Can’t help but compare it to some of the other tour boats operating in the same bay. Our captain Stan worked to find us a pod of dolphins on the way over to Port Royal are and knew just how to get them to play with our boat! He was excellent at what he does and very pleasant as well! The charcuterie was fresh and delicious! Nice little appetizer for the meal we had reservations for dinner later. Wine was cold and we truly enjoyed the whole experience!

Saw a lot of reptiles!

This was a unique and fantastic experience. Our tour guide Leah was very knowledgeable, and we learned a lot of interesting ecological information from her. The Airboats and Alligators tour was fun. Saw a lot of wildlife, including two adult alligators sunning themselves less than 10 feet from where our airboat was gliding past. Ear protection was provided, and the guide stopped the airboat when we flit close to something to see, and we had no trouble hearing him. As was suggested, we wore windbreakers and were happy we did, as it is extra chilly when your traveling fast over water. The reptile show at the end was an additional highlight, as we had the opportunity to hold a baby alligator and various snakes. 100% would recommend this tour. Note that you do have to drive from the end of the hike to a totally different location for the airboat tour—it is not walkable, and it’s remote enough you can’t use ride shares. Also be prepared with waterproof footwear for the short walk, regardless of season. Even in the dry winter, there was enough moisture on the trail that my shoes were wet at the end of the mile long walk.

Austin our guide was great. Great fun ridding these boats. Toured the 10,000 islands near Marco Island, went shell collecting on a sandbar beach. Learned about the history of the American Indians that lived in and fished in these islands. Boats are easy to get use to driving and fun on the water.
