The Bavarian experience
Our guide, Ozzie, provided exceptional insights into Bavarian history and culture. The tour was conducted at a comfortable pace, and his articulate presentation reflected a genuine passion for his work. We were particularly impressed by his authentic attire, which significantly enhanced the immersive experience. A big thank you from Australian travellers.

Necessary
Chances are very good you know the history of Nazi Germany and the horrors of the concentration camps. From school. Books. Websites. Even movies. But if you haven’t experienced an in-person visit to a camp, you don’t truly know. This was not only my first time at Dachau, but my first time at any of the Nazi concentration camps. I weeped walking through the gate and, days later, I have carried feelings with me. Each person’s reaction will obviously be uniquely theirs, but you will be changed by this experience. Do this. Please. For the victims. For history. For your own community, your own family, and for yourself and your own place in our world.

Unforgettable experience—Josh is the best guide in Munich! We spent two weeks traveling around Germany, and Josh’s Munich tour was the absolute standout. His exceptional knowledge of the city's history, particularly around WWII and the Third Reich, kept us completely captivated from start to finish. He is a phenomenal storyteller and an outstanding guide. Do yourself a favor and book a tour with him!

We had a great time with...
We had a great time with Leon and meeting new friends on the Bavarian Beer and Food tour! The event started at the meeting site with a beer and meeting other members of the group. Next we went to our first stop for a beer tasting and appetizers with a tour of the Oktoberfest museum. We had fun learning about the history and process of making traditional German beer. Next we toured other beer gardens ending with a delicious meal and more beer! The food and drinks were amazing and we stayed past the allotted time to enjoy the evening with new friends.

Despite Munich’s efficient public transport system, its Old Town and shopping areas are compact and ideally explored on foot. If you’re not familiar with the city, Munich walking tours offer the perfect solution. While some tours delve into World War II sites associated with the Third Reich, others cover Old Town highlights, ghost-themed adventures, culinary explorations, and customizable private experiences. Whether you’re drawn to history, culture, or gastronomy, discovering the city on foot can be tailored to every preference.
