Wonderful tour with Joanne (Jo). She was very engaging and knowledgeable. Five hour tour was a perfect amount of time for us to see the sights we wanted.

Taff was a wonderful guide! He has so much knowledge and information to impart. It was a very informative tour. He kept all of our attention. Even stopped at a beergarten for a break during the tour. Would highly recommend Taff's tour!

Taff brought history to life on this outstanding walk through time. Extremely well organized with time to go into great detail on subjects of interest to me as a WWII history buff. Taff is very personable as well as knowledgeable thus making the tour both informative and filled with humorous moments. We especially enjoyed the Augustiner Bier at an off the beaten path walk up window mid tour on a warm day. Taff also provided us with recommendations for things to do in Munich your typical Rick Steves fan wouldn't find in his books. I highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in a deep dive into the history of Hitler's rise to power and the importance of Munich and Bavaria in this black mark on mankind.

This tour was easily my husband’s and son’s favorite tour of our whole trip. The guide was so knowledgeable and excited about the topic. My son mentioned how he really enjoyed having someone to talk to about WW2 while walking between sites. Our tour was exactly what we were hoping it would be!
As a first time visitor to Munich, I was very interested in the WWII history of the city. Jo was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable of the history and stories of the city.
We spent a great afternoon with Taff on the WWII tour.
His knowledge of World War 2 and of Munich as a city is highly impressive. He was able to not only show various points of interest but also show the same spots during the War through photographs! Highly informative, great conversation, and truly worth it!
Taff was fantastic! We told him it felt like we were seeing things with an old friend. Taff was very friendly, had great pictures and other visuals to provide additional color to what we were seeing. We even found time to convince him to take us for a local brew. The history he provided and the descriptions and backgrounds of what we were seeing are what made our time so enjoyable. Taff is just a very engaging person who clearly enjoys what he is doing and we were able to feed off of that. Our time together just flew by. I highly recommend this tour and I hope you get Taff!

Amazing experience. Our guide was perfectly on time on the afternoon of December 24th, despite extremely challenging weather conditions. None of that stopped him from delivering the tour with real passion and depth. He took the time to go beyond the standard script and focus on the aspects we were most curious about.
Because of the cold, we asked if the tour could be shortened, and he adapted it seamlessly without losing any of the substance. We learned a lot — it was fascinating to see how everything began and to discover lesser-known, hidden details of this period of history.
If you have any interest in WWII history, this tour is an absolute must.

Taff was amazing, entertaining and full of knowledge - If you get a chance, he is highly recommended (and even acts out some of the parts)
Kevin was the best. He knew everything about the history of the city, was funny, on time, great with my 11 year old son, and we would HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone.
Spent an informal few hours on our tour with Taff. Very informative and well planned with visual aids to tie in with the subject matter.
Taff even threw in some off-topic local points of interest and tips for tourists new to Munich.

The most insightful historic tour I’ve ever taken. Taff’s ability to bring to life the origins of the Nazi party in Munich is second to none. He gave in incredible lesson on the rise of Hitler and the historic context that made Nazism take root. For both the serious/knowledgeable history buff and the curious/casual observer this tour will leave you speechless. I highly recommend it.
David "Taff: Simon is a great guide. Very knowledgeable on the start of WW II in Munich. He even provided details outside the standard tour about the White Rose. He knows WW II in Germany, but also does Medieval tours, PLUS is a real archeologists! He had done digs in different locations in Germany. We highly recommend both this tour and David as your guide!

Excellent and engaging. Our guide was both knowledgeable and entertaining. Thoroughly recommended! Taff tailored our tour to our limited timescale and although we have lived close to Munich for a while now, there were loads of interesting facts about places that we had previously just walked through and past that we were unaware of— kept us and our son (13) interested the whole time.
This is an excellent tour to learn about the beginning of Hitler 's rein of terror and it's lasting impact on the world. There are also beautiful things to see such as the gardens and cool things like river surfing. There is also world class shopping, delicious cappuccino and wonderful breads to feast your eyes upon as you learn about Munich 's story in WW2. Kevin was a wonderful guide. And his tour, a must!
