Highly recommend this is a great way to get to know Munich! Fantastic day having lunch like a local with our wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide Sofia! We had great food and got to know the market place so we could return the next day and continue to explore on our own!

We ate our way though the market. I tried lots of foods I have never had before. The tour was well organized, and Sophie took very good care of us! I highly recommend this tour! You eat so many different things, and learn along the way!

Our local food tour with Victoria was one of the best experiences of our trip. Great tour with lots of food, drink, and information about Munich food customs. Eat a light breakfast to be able to enjoy all the food that is offered. Sofia did a wonderful job as a guide.

My husband and I had the pleasure of taking this food tour. We first met our guide, Zsofia and Katarina, who owns the tour group. Before we even began our tour, Katarina helped us buy a train ticket for the following day. After that we began our food tour with Zsofia. Zsofia was friendly, knowledgeable and very fun! We ate and drank various authentic German food and beverages and learned so much about Munich's history and culture. We highly recommend taking this tour during your travels in Munich!

Our Viktualienmarkt tour was incredible! Our guide took us to some amazing, very local spots that we never would have found on our own. Everything we had was delicious, and the pacing between each stop was perfect. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, which made the whole experience even more in-depth. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to try local foods at hidden gems!

My husband and I had the pleasure of taking this food tour with our guide Zsofia. We ate and drank various authentic German food and beverages and learned a ton about Munich's history and culture. Zsofia was friendly, energetic and knowledgeable. We highly recommend taking this tour during your travels in Munich and I can't wait for our next food tour with this service. The tour guide was great and the food was amazing. The only thing we wish was less waiting and a bit more history mixed into the tour as we explored old town Munich.

Jessica, this is a market tour. You do not explore the Old Town with us. Sounds like you are confused because we have no idea what kind of "waiting" you are talking about? This is a 3-4 hour well-paced food tour of the market (as clearly listed in the tour description) and that's what it was. I mean, were you honestly thinking that you were going to stuff your face for 4 consecutive hours without taking a breath? If you legitimately felt like there was no historical information, then you clearly were not listening to your guide. We are the ORIGINAL Munich food tour, the only award-winning food tour in Munich, and the food tour with the most tastings (20+ to be exact). We are also the highest rated food tour in Germany. Again, it is a market tour, we do not "explore the Old Town," so docking us stars for not doing something we already told you we don't do in the tour description is hardly fair. PS, I'll remind, Your Highness, that you were here during Oktoberfest when all hospitality workers are overworked and exhausted. I'm sure they appreciate your patience if it takes them a few extra minutes to serve you your beer.

Really good food tour and learning experience. Our guide was friendly and engaging. You could tell she really understands and loves the food culture. Also, it was pretty crappy weather and some stalls that we were meant to visit closed early. Our guide did a nice job pivoting to other stalls. It was a nice amount of food, especially if you are hungover from Oktoberfest and don’t eat breakfast beforehand.

Katrina gives a wonderful tour! Fun informative and entertaining. She is knowledgeable and very friendly. She is also a great communicator- our flight was late arriving in Munich and she gave us the tour itenerary so we could meet up with the group a half hour late. We only had 8 in our group so was a wonderful! We try to always do a walking tour on arrival day to be active and this lunch walking combo was perfect!

We had a wonderful tour with all the food tastings along with some history and hidden gems to visit again. Loved the different sausages and mustards, potatoes, pretzel with cheese and red onion combo. The outdoor picnic with cheese and honey wine was also great. The ice cream at the end was also amazing and fun to ‘taste’ some different flavors. Come hungry because you will have lots to eat. Thanks so much!

Booked this tour a couple of days out, glad we did. Sophie was excellent, very informative and explained the rules. Food was great, but just make sure you follow the rules. Some foods you expected, some you didn’t. Most importantly, no ketchup.

This was a very good food tour. I would recommend it if you want to learn about the food culture of Munich, traditions, and try some foods you may have avoided otherwise! Zsofi was extremely knowledgeable and taught us so much about the cultural norms & snafus a lot of people may commit while traveling through Bavaria. We try to do a food tour on the first day in a new country for this exact reason, and we felt better prepared for our time in Germany thanks to her tips & tricks! It was a lot of fun & we tried lots of great food.

Zsofia made us feel right at home learning about Munich and its storied food scene. As a Munich native, she has an incredible connection with the city and the local owners who make the town special.
