What are people saying about Martha's Vineyard

Good But Not Impressed
The vehicle was a standard minivan - not a luxury van at all by most standards. There was just enough room for 5 people assuming no walker or wheelchair.
We booked the two-hour tour for 5 adults. One was my 91-year-old mother who uses a walker. Luckily the 5th person made other plans or there wouldn’t have been room for the walker. The driver noted he had expensive electronic equipment in the storage area.
Our guide was knowledgeable about the general history of island. He shared a few interesting facts during our tour of Vineyard Haven and Edgartown. However he seemed clueless about the history of African Americans on the island with the only exception being to point out the road leading to the Obamas’ house.
Overall I would rate the tour a 6 out of 10.

Education from this tour enhanced our trip
Mr. Rich was so educational on the ride. Our group left empowered with knowledge and grateful to the experience. Every moment of the (3) hour tour was filled with enlightenment. I look forward to visiting next year and taking another tour to learn more

Excellent Tour
I learned from my tour guide, John, that Martha’s Vineyard is far more than a single destination; it is a collection of six distinct towns spread across nearly 100 square miles of pristine Atlantic coastline. A comprehensive tour splits the island beautifully between the bustling, historic "Down-Island" ports and the serene, sweeping vistas of the "Up-Island" countryside. John was excellent! Very knowledgeable about the island. We all enjoyed him!

Important tour of the island
Craig gave a nonstop talking tour of the whole island.. He has been coming to Martha’s for years so knows tons. The stop for lobster rolls was perfect. He knows his stuff but could have mentioned the important role the island played in training for Normandy invasion n other aspects of WWII. He knows how to get round the island for different crowd times of season too. Very nice n thoughtful. So glad we did it.
