This tour was lovely! Got to see the island, learn the history, and hear stories from a local. Would definitely recommend!
Kris_B, Oct 2025
I really enjoyed this tour. Guide was very knowledgeable about the area because he grew up here. Loved learning about the history and hearing all the stories of the island! Highly recommend the tour!
Deborah_C, Oct 2025
Interesting to see and hear about the homes and how they came to be built. The Gingerbread Cottages were fun!
Marilyn_H, Oct 2025
Tour guide was very informative and funny rainy day but guide still was trying to make it a fun trip
Ed_P, Oct 2025
It was enjoyable and the guide gave us a lot of history of Martha's Vineyard. It was good that there wasn't a lot of walking. He was always asking if there are any questions or do we need a rest stop.
Terri_L, Oct 2025
Your doesn’t stop enough for pictures.
Do not need Driver‘s commentary of his opinions on political beliefs

I do not see your name in any of our rosters. We would love to know who your guide was. Please call us. 508-981-0430. Are you sure you toured with us?
Michael_M, Oct 2025
The experience was tremendous. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. He took time to show some things that were not regularly included on the tour. He made an effort to give us information to guide us when we got off the tour.
Linda_S, Oct 2025
Our guide took us to sights all around the Martha’s Vineyard. He was very knowledgeable about the island and shared much history about the different towns and cultures. He was very interesting to listen to.
Dave_K, Oct 2025
Very boring and not much ro see unless you like old grapevines along the road.
Very disappointing.
Way better off getting transportation to Edgartown and spending time there.
Nothing but a boring driving history lesson with WAY TOO MUCH EMPHASIS on a 50+ year old movie (Jaws). Referred to movie like captive audience passengers saw it last week.
Response from Host, Oct 2025
We are sorry you didn’t like the tour. We would love to know which guide you had. Please feel free to call us at 508-939-1359

Long stretches of driving, wish we had more stops for photo opportunities. Enjoyed where we did stop.
Carol_W, Sep 2025
My sister and I took this tour of the island on our first day in MV. We enjoyed our driver, Greg, and felt he did a wonderful job of describing the things we saw, and the local history. It was easier to choose “what to do” on the remainder of our vacation.
Karla_E, Sep 2025
Such an amazing experience...so much history from a "local"! We REALLY enjoyed getting to know the amazingness of Martha's Vineyard...not just what the tourists know about the island.
MARKOSBORNE_M, Sep 2025
The giide was EXTREMELY knoweldgeable about all things Marthas Vineyard. The excursion itself was well worth it. The communication at the pickup site between variius companies was a bit of a mess, and ur ticket doesnt make clear which company u r with. So we got off on the wrong foot, but it worked itself out thankfully.
Peter_S, Sep 2025
This was one of the best tours we have been on. We saw and learned so much about Martha’s Vineyard; about the making of Jaws; and even where celebrities lived. The guide was a local and so entertaining as well as knowledgeable. Great tour.
Marianne_T, Sep 2025
It was somewhat interesting, although could have added some places to highlight. Mostly driving over. Country roads, seeing nothing but mailboxes. The tour guide was informative and friendly, but also had a limited amount of things to discuss.
Linda_M, Sep 2025
I wasn’t able to go on the tour but my friend did. She said the driver was very knowledgeable, and courteous. She enjoyed the tour very much. The van was comfortable. The negative thing was that the tour didn’t include seeing the gingerbread houses and that was the main thing she wanted to see on the island. It’s called Wesleyan Grove. Luckily we found the area on our own. We also understand why. It was just disappointing to her. The driver would probably have added a great deal of historical information that we ended up finding online.
Shari_C, Sep 2025
Long drive to get to the area where the cliffs are where there is not much to see. Enjoyed hearing the stories.
Rhonda_A, Sep 2025
This tour of Martha’s Vineyard was outstanding from start to finish. The guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly loved sharing the history and charm of the island. The small group size made it easy to ask questions and enjoy a more personal experience.
Kreslyon_V, Sep 2025
Fantastic, Bill was great! I would definitely recommend. He was knowledgeable about the island and history.

You really learn what life is like on MA and the stops along the way are appreciated the most. Picture stops were also appreciated
Frances_S, Sep 2025
We only stopped at one location. There were too many drive by locations. It would have been nice to get out a few times. Tour guide was informative but it seemed rushed.
Response from Host, Sep 2025
As you now know the island is quite large. We only advertise one stop on our shared tours. If someone wants more they can book a private tour with us that we can customize. Thank you for your review
Anthony_T, Sep 2025

Judith_R, Sep 2025

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!!! Even better than I imagined when I booked my friends and I!
So classy for adults (only*) looking to feel as though you stepped back into an elegant time, with white starched tablecloths and vases of flowers on each well-set table. With excellent attentive butlered service, and a most lovely presentation of our absolutely delicious luncheon and drinks.
Our tour guide gave just-enough welcoming points of interest as we passed lovely scenery along the train ride. Plus her perfect Cape Cod accent made it even better.
Best yet was the official uniformed TRAIN CONDUCTOR David, punching our train tickets and all!
*Sorry to say, we also had a NOT so wonderful experience. SUGGESTION: HAVE ADULTS ONLY TRAINS!
Our one and only complaint was about the other guests on our train seated behind us --- TOO NOISY!!! On our premium top train car, three adults with FOUR VERY YOUNG CHILDREN booked two tables across the aisle from each other.
Meaning these three younger adult parents talked loudly to each other across the aisle, while their baby cried LOUDLY throughout our meal, making it hard for my friends and I to talk. Or to enjoy the lovely experience.
The toddler yelled so loudly behind my friend's ear hurting his hearing. When these three knew ALL OTHER ADULTS ONLY traveling in our train HAD HAD IT, they got up disrupting our meal to carry crying or unruly children down below --- many times! This was a very disrespectful and irresponsible way for these travelers to act --- holding ALL of us responsible travels hostage with the noise levels.
I spoke up and it was not taken well.
Again, suggestion is for ADULTS ONLY SECTION ONLY. YES, I will recommend this wonderful experience but I will alert them to ask to be near NO CHILDREN! TOO COSTLY of an adventure to depart feeling angry.

It was an awesome tour that exceeded our expectations, the tour guide was knowledgeable and the views stunning
Rhonda_D, Sep 2025
This was a great way to see the island and learn the history. Our guide used his insider knowledge, being a local himself, to talk about the history of the island.
Charlaine_M, Aug 2025
we only had a short time in Martha's Vineyard, and this was an excellent way to see everything. We loved our tour guide, and he was very informative of everything.
Pam_M, Aug 2025
Great overview of the entire island. A lot of information so you can then decide where you’d like to go back to if you have the time
StephButler_B, Aug 2025
We had a great tour with a local named Mac, who could share special insights since he grew up on the island
Cynthia_F, Aug 2025
It may stretch out longer than expected in order to cover all the places included in the tour, due to high traffic volume. It would have been really helpful to have water available for drinking on the tour. Tour guide was GREAT.
