Great way to visit 3 major sites outside of Madrid. Our guide Alicia was professional, kind, and informative. Don’t be put off by a long day! Still worth it. But note, it did not include lunch. We still had free time after each local guided tour time. Plenty of options for food, just be mindful of your time to eat, shop, and meeting time back w/ group. It was great to see inside the Cathedral and Alcazar in Segovia which was included with our specific tickets. Highly recommend this tour!

Great Experience

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The tour was one of the best tours my family has gone on, and we have gone on a lot of tours. Rafael was an amazing tour guide. Rafael has an infinite depth of knowledge regarding Spanish history and the history of the Catholic Church. His amicable nature and intelligence made the day feel shorter than 10 hours. He also gave adequate breaks and also allowed us to sit while he was speaking which made the walking less onerous. My nine year old enjoyed the tour so much he told his classmates about how good it was and how much he learned. Segovia and Avila are stunning cities and should not be rushed so 10 hours is a good length of time. The price was very good as well. I am excited to do another tour on our next adventure.

Walking Tour of Toledo

Javi was our guide for the day, and he was excellent. We did a personal tour with him and saw Toledo at our own pace, choosing what we did or did not see based on his recommendations. He did a very detailed and fascinating tour of the cathedral, and we also chose to see El Greco’s master painting, again giving us an exceptionally detailed explanation of the painting. One thing that was extraordinarily helpful was his iPad- he had aerial views of the cathedral, detailed closeups of certain works of art, and maps and pictures of the city. Communication was excellent, and he was so accommodating. Also, he gave several excellent recommendations for lunch spots, and we after our tour was over, my husband and I enjoyed an excellent lunch. Keep in mind that Toledo is very hilly, so wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for a few uphill stints on cobblestone streets. This was a highlight of our trip and we enthusiastically recommend it.

Our tour of Toledo was truly unforgettable, and it was all thanks to our incredible guide Arantxa. Her depth of knowledge about the city’s rich history, culture, and architecture brought every street and landmark to life in a way we never could have experienced on our own. She had such a warm and engaging presence, making the entire experience feel relaxed, enjoyable, and personal. You could tell she genuinely loves what she does—every story and detail was shared with enthusiasm and care. She also struck the perfect balance between informative and fun, keeping us captivated the entire time. Because of her, exploring Toledo felt less like a tour and more like stepping back in time with a friend who knows all the hidden stories. I left with a deeper appreciation for this beautiful city and so many memories I’ll cherish. Highly recommend—she made the experience truly special!

A long but wonderful day.

This is a long day but I felt it was worth it. Toledo was beautiful to see and I was especially interested in the Jewish Quarter and the Cathedral. Don't miss the 15 El Greco paintings in the Cathedral. We have, in my view, the greatest El Greco (View of Toledo) here in New York and it was thrilling to see the actual view of the city. I did not feel that we needed to stop at the sword factory - that seemed out of place to me but I'm not a shopper. Kostas, our guide, was fantastic and gave a great deal of historical context. The drive to Segovia was about two hours but I was happy to rest before that stop. It is another beautiful city, a little smaller and less crowded than Toledo. Make sure you see the Cathedral in Segovia and visit one of the bakeries right off the main square to get a Ponche Segoviano, famous pastry of that city. Again, Kostos was great, as was our driver, and the 12 hours was totally worth it to me to see two great World Heritage sites, especially the Roman Aqueduct

We had a group of about 18. They were adults mostly in their mid 40 or 50s with us bringing up the rear at late 70s. There was plenty to eat and drink and both were pretty decent. It was easy walking with the exception of a couple of flights of stairs into the wine cave. Note: meet in front of the hotel and not the cafeteria.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — Three UNESCO cities in one day and somehow it all worked perfectly

I did this tour solo while in Madrid and it ended up being one of the best days of my entire trip. Visiting three cities — Segovia, Ávila, and Toledo — in a single day sounds exhausting on paper, but the pacing was genuinely well thought out. Nothing felt rushed, nothing dragged, and by the end of the day I felt like I had actually seen each place rather than just passed through it. Our guides were Antonio and Diego, and they were both excellent. Knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about Spanish history. Antonio in particular had a great energy and kept things interesting throughout what is a long day. At one point he mentioned his girlfriend works for a production company on an Amazon Prime show and was responsible for background painting and prop care, including the swords used on set, which happen to be made right in Toledo. We actually toured a blacksmith workshop where they craft them. That kind of behind-the-scenes detail made the whole experience feel way more personal and memorable than your typical tour. The Roman aqueduct in Segovia is genuinely one of those things you have to see in person to appreciate. Photos don't fully capture how massive and perfectly preserved it is, and standing right next to it knowing it's been there since Roman times is surreal. Another unexpected highlight was the Alcázar of Segovia, which is said to have inspired the design of Snow White's castle. The guides made a stop to let us grab some photos of it, which was a really nice touch and not something every tour bothers to do. For lunch in Ávila I broke away from the group and found Restaurante Las Murallas on my own. Family-run, authentic Castilian food, very reasonable prices, incredibly friendly staff, and spotless bathrooms. Highly recommend it if you want to eat somewhere genuinely local. Toledo was my favorite of the three. The view from across the river looking back at the city is absolutely breathtaking, one of those panoramic shots that stops you in your tracks. The old town itself is a maze of narrow streets, layered history, and architecture you genuinely can't stop staring at. I opted out of the cathedral ticket in Toledo, which I slightly regretted since it looked stunning from the outside. That said, I had already visited several cathedrals in Madrid, so it made sense for my trip. If it's your first time in Spain and you haven't done many cathedrals, spring for the ticket. It's worth it. Tips for anyone booking this: - Bring a portable charger. The bus has USB ports but Antonio mentioned not all of their buses do, and your phone will be working overtime between maps, photos, and Google Translate. A portable charger has saved me multiple times on trips like this. - Toledo has some incredible handmade sword shops worth browsing, though they can get pricey. The craftsmanship is genuinely impressive so it's worth it if something catches your eye. - Most places accepted card, so you're not strictly limited to cash, but having some on hand for food and smaller purchases doesn't hurt. - Pack a light jacket even if it's sunny. It gets noticeably cooler in the shade and the wind between cities can catch you off guard. Bus seats are a little snug but totally manageable since the rides between cities aren't very long. 100% would recommend this tour. Very knowledgeable tour

The bus was very clean. modern and comfortable that was used to transport us from Madrid. Our tour guide was Beatrice and she very knowledgeable and easy to understand. They divided us into smaller groups so it was easier to get around. Learned a lot about the history that we would not have learned if we tried to do this on our own. So I highly recommend taking the tour to get the most out of your visit.

Worthwhile visit to a gorgeous palace

Definitely worth a visit. Our guide Maria was able to communicate well in English and shared a lot about the history of Spain in connection with the palace. The tour started near Plaza Mayor, an easy 10 minute walk to the Palace with nuggets of history along the way. Tour lasted 2 hours.

Great tour with good lunch!

There is a lot of walking with guided commentary. There can be a bit late for lunch at about 1:30pm. Do prepare a bit of snacks. The tapas lunch is worth the value paid. Had a glass of free wine to go with it! Overall, it was a worthy tour. Not too long or too short for us.
