Highly educational visit to Toledo!

Excellent tour of Toledo. I've been there once before on my own, and I found the tour with guide was far superior than doing it solo. You learn so much about the history of the place, the architecture, and culture. Highly recommend the full day tour to enjoy time for lunch, shopping, and some time at the end to explore on your own.

Manuel, the bus driver was very efficient and gutted to where we needed to go safely. David, our guide, was extremely interesting and interested in us as people not just clients. His explanations were interesting and he answered questions with courteousness.

Fantastic and memorable tour. A must to do.

This is a must to do. The trip was well organized. I am glad that we did it. Mr. Khan was our tour guide. He was awesome, very informative, knowledgeable and helping. Each of the three places were just wow. Lots of history, beautiful view, architecture, culture and nice food. Tips: Make sure you reach the bus in time. Lots of walking, so wear comfortable shoes. Plan to have lunch inclusive.

A very special tour of Toledo from a local!

We decided to head to Toledo from Madrid on day 14 of a 16 day family vacation in Spain. I knew we would need some help to keep my family moving....insert Javi(!) We had been on the go and seen many sites and Javi catered our trip to our needs. My kids (19, 17, 12) called Javi the GOAT (greatest of all time) when we said goodbye. He has such a nice demeanor and took us places in the city underground that only private tour guides can access (very special). Javi was born and raised in Toledo and I believe that brought such an insightful layer to his stories and as he educated us about such an incredible city. Toledo is now what my husband and I are talking about wanting to go back and spend more time next time. We recommend this tour!!!

All the tour guides were...

All the tour guides were amazing and very informative. The only thing that bothered me was the attitude of Andres the driver. When he walked into the visitors center, some people were standing on the left side because it was raining and the right side was fully empty. Instead of him going around through the empty side, he stood in front of them and stared at them until the were forced to move out of the way for him. Not a pleasant view, specially when it was elderly people that had to move out of the way for him. He definitely could have walked around them.

Great day trip from Madrid! Lovely and interesting cities: Ávila and Segovia. Tour was well scheduled and a good pace. A fair amount of walking but it is not difficult walking and there are “on your own” times. Beatriz was an excellent English speaking guide. Definitely recommend.

Don't miss Segovia!

We had a full bus from Madrid, and had two guides. Our guide, Fleur, was knowledgeable and kept the group engaged with pop quizzes. The first stop was Toledo. The approach to the city was breathtaking. We saw a sword making factory - makes sense, Toledo steel - but the visit felt touristy. We walked through the Jewish quarter and toured the outside of the church and monastery. My only disappointment was that we didn't go inside the church. We had got the lunch and it was worth it. It was a delicious multi course meal held at the museum cafeteria. Segovia was our favorite. We saw the engineering marvel that is the Roman aquaduct, saw the inside of the church and palace. There were fewer visitors compared to Toledo. The buildings are really well preserverd and the castle offers magnificent views. The weather was perfect.... We loved this part of the journey

Absolutely wonderful tour...a must see.

This is a wonderful tour. The tour guide - Serge - was very knowledgeable and a bit of a comedian. He had a wonderful knack for getting to know each traveler on the trip and speaking individually at times. He remembered our home country and state and something about us. We had over 30 people on our tour so this was quite an achievement. The bus ride to the Cuenca and the enchanted city is a little over an hour and it seem to go by really fast. The Enchanted City was absolutely unique and amazing. We had kids and older people on our tour and both seemed to like it and the hike is mostly flat and easy. Cuenca is stunning. Lots of interest if you like history and architecture. The lunch is optional and a little pricey but you get a lot of food and drink. I am a vegetarian and the restaurant had prepared a meal for me. Just ask! Serge can make it happen. I was interested in seeing the Cuenca cathedral but we just missed the open hours. Check open hours before you go if seeing this beautiful structure is important. I highly recommend this trip for solo travelers, national park enthusiasts, history and architecture buffs. You will not be disappointed. I hope you get Serge as your guide. The only recommendation I can make - and it is minor - the pick up point in Madrid is not centrally located. I was staying in the Centro area and according to GPS, the walk would have been over an hour. Most of my other walks were 20 minutes or less. You probably will have to take an Uber to the pick up point and for your return trip after dropping off.

The tour was great and the guide explained everything very well. The language we had chosen was English and the guide explained everything in Spanish first and English. We covered all the locations in Toledo and managed to walk through the city center and explore even the smallest locations.

Or group guide Jesus, was fantastic. The history provided to us was better than an audioguide. My local friends were surprised at how much history I learned. Plus he showed us the entrance to the cathedral so I could return later. Im 50/50 on guided, but this one I would recommend.
