Our private tour was excellent. Our guide Sonia was in communication with us well ahead of the tour giving us precise information that allowed the day of the tour to be a smooth and enjoyable one. We spent the tour learning and having our many questions addressed in an expert manner. Sonia was extremely knowledgeable and thoughtfully walked us through a history of Spain and role the ancient city of Toledo played in it. Our entire family, including a teenager were engaged through the day. The highlight of the tour was the Catedral de Toledo which was amazing. Between the enormity of the church and the incredible detail of the art works, stained glass, stone and wooden carvings, you could start to get a glimpse of 800 years of history. I would recommend this when visiting Spain.

The tour with Dani was perfect. The proactive communication via email and WhatsApp about what we wanted to see, restaurant and train recommendations, and where to meet was what let me know this would be an excellent tour. If you're planning a day trip to Toledo, this tour is a perfect way to get the most out of your time there.

From the time Javier picked us up at our hotel and drop us back in that afternoon, we were treated with to a VIP experience. Our Toledo tour guide, Ville, is a native - she was great! This ancient mid evil town is breathtaking. Villa was a wealth of knowledge about the merging of the three religions & cultures (Jewish/islamic/catholic) that built this historic town. The buildings, churches and cobblestone streets are a testament to the resilience of man. The main catholic cathedral was by far the best example of gothic architecture in Europe. If you are in Madrid, don’t miss this half day VIP experience.

The personalization of this tore was outstanding. We had a driver, Wilson, from our condo to Toledo who talked with us about the history of Spain, Madrid, in Toledo. He was very welcoming, professional and kind. Carlos, our personal to work I'd in Toledo has traveled around the world and returned home to his beautiful City of Toledo and shared with us amazing information and history of the City of Toledo. We had the most beautiful views and photos taken based on his knowledge and expertise. This was a spectacular experience. Highly recommend.

The town and tour were great!
Our guide was absolutely fantastic - explaining all the history of Toledo along with all the background of how different areas, streets, and buildings came to be and what they are/were used for. He was local - born in old town Toledo - so knowledge was unmatched.

My husband and I enjoyed our tour in Toledo! From pickup to drop off, this private tour was top notch. Alberto, our driver, was delightful and we very much enjoyed talking with him during our drive to Toledo. Once in Toledo we met up with Sonia who took us around the city and told us about the history of every part of the area including the Cathedral. For me, the highlight was the Jewish quarter where we visited one of the oldest synagogues in Spain and learned about the local artisanal crafts including pottery making and swords. Sonia then helped us book a reservation for lunch in an amazing place inside a cave. We texted Alberto when we were ready to head back and again enjoyed chatting with him until he dropped us off back at our Madrid hotel. Truly 5 Star service from start to finish! Thank you Alberto and Sonia!

Toledo is an amazing Medieval town with so much history. So many cities in Spain have so much history but Toledo just feels different! The expertise of Irene was beyond ecxpectations.

We decided to head to Toledo from Madrid on day 14 of a 16 day family vacation in Spain. I knew we would need some help to keep my family moving....insert Javi(!) We had been on the go and seen many sites and Javi catered our trip to our needs. My kids (19, 17, 12) called Javi the GOAT (greatest of all time) when we said goodbye. He has such a nice demeanor and took us places in the city underground that only private tour guides can access (very special). Javi was born and raised in Toledo and I believe that brought such an insightful layer to his stories and as he educated us about such an incredible city. Toledo is now what my husband and I are talking about wanting to go back and spend more time next time. We recommend this tour!!!

Manuel was our guide and he was great! He was funny, flexible, and knowledgeable. He's lived in Toledo his whole life, and we think he knew everyone in town! It was a great way to get an overview of the city and its history.
We chose to see the panoramic view, the Cathedral, and another small cathedral with El Greco's masterpiece.
He also took us for the best marzipan in the city!

Our family of five ( with 3 young adult kids) loved our tour guide Salome! She met us at the train station and was there waiting for us when we were walking off the train. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions.. It was nice having a private tour so you could customize the landmarks you wanted to see. Since we were a small group we also were to go into places that would have been difficult if you were with a large group.. Salome make sure we were able to get back to the train station and gave us a few options on how to get there. We took a later train so we could spend a few hours on our own after the tour to eat and look through some of the shops. I would highly recommend this tour, we learned a lot!

Our tour of Toledo was one of the highlights of our trip, thanks to our incredible guide. Sonia was exceptionally knowledgeable and provided fascinating historical context with great depth, yet explained everything in a way that was engaging and easy to understand.
What truly set her apart was how wonderful she was with our 8-year-old son. When he became interested in Toledo’s famous swords, she went above and beyond by taking us to see a few examples that were not part of the planned tour. She patiently explained the different types of swords, how they were crafted, and their historical significance, making the experience both educational and memorable for him.
She also recommended an outstanding restaurant for lunch that turned out to be one of our favorite meals in Spain. As an added bonus, she took beautiful family photos throughout the tour, giving us lasting memories of our time in Toledo.
Sonia’s passion, professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made this a truly special experience. We would highly recommend her to anyone visiting Toledo, especially families with children. Thank you for helping make our visit unforgettable!

Manuel was terrific! He offered some great suggestions about what to see in Toledo and structured the tour so it wasn’t too tiring (lots of hills and cobblestones in Toledo). He was so kind and informative and we enjoyed getting to know him. Manuel was extremely knowledgeable about the art and history of his city—the tour was the highlight of our 12 day trip to Spain. Highly recommend this tour!

Toledo is beautiful and full of interesting history. Dani, our guide, was waiting for us when we got off the train from Madrid. We chose to see the famous panorama of the city, so he got us a cab, which we had to pay for, Not a big deal, but be aware of the extra charge. The Cathedral, also, has a fee, which I believe they waived for me due to my being on a mobility scooter. The cathedral is magnificent. There was a bit more walking involved going from one end of the city to the other, but Dani made sure we had the easiest and best route for my scooter. Dani made reservations for us at the restaurant, Manjares, for the end of our tour and the place was great. Don't miss it. After spending some time alone in the square, we took a cab back to the train station at the time Dani suggested. We could have done Toledo without a guide, but having one made the experience seamless and more relevant. Thanks, Dani, for a nice day

Great way to get the highlights of this beautiful city from an informed tour guide. They met us at the train station and took care of all of the details, from cabs to tickets to food recommendations. We felt so good at the conclusion, understanding the history and importance of Toledo in the development of Spain.
