The tour of Toledo was great! Our tour guide Silvia was excellent and provided a lot of great detail about many aspects of Toledo! She even gave us recommendations for lunch since we didn't do the lunch included and the restaurant we went to was incredible! I highly recommend this tour!

This was an all day tour where approximately half the time was spent traveling between cities and the remainder was on the bus. There is a lot of walking in the tour and it can be hot (we went in early September) so plan accordingly. Our tour guide was Laura who provided a lot of very interesting information about each location. She made the tour very educational as well as enjoyable. If you enjoy seeing and learning about Roman era aqueducts, medieval cities, and the historical culture of Spain, this is a marvelous trip to take…we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Excellent Tour

Covers the cities well. Tour guide is very knowledgeable. Try to book your Segovia restaurant in advance if you want to go to the best places for roast suckling pig. Ask Amigos about timing, but a 3pm restaurant reservation for the 7:45am tour is likely OK. Use restrooms every chance you can get -- there are not many restroom stops.

The place was easy to...

The place was easy to find and the bus was very nice. We were able to leave items on the bus, meaning I didn’t have to lug my bottle around the entire day. While the beginning and bus tour is in both English and Spanish, my actual tour around Toledo was fully English, which was nice. Great trip, friendly guide and a beautiful city (even when it’s very hot).

Very well organised trip those who want to see El Estorial and the Valley of the Fallen from Madrid. We thought the Valley of the Fallen was a little rushed as we had spent longer at the Monastery than was allocated. Our guide Isabel was excellent - very friendly, interesting and enthusiastic.

Good comprehensive tour...

Good comprehensive tour ;when split into English/Spanish speaking tour guides it ended up being small groups. Time was well managed at each site. Plenty of time to explore on your own, balanced with learning the History of both sites. Both of our English speaking guides were exceptional. David was our Toledo guide- he was quite impressive. I cannot remember our female guides name for Segovia - but she was a local and she introduced us to some of the artisans as she was walking through town. It was amazing!! The side trip to the steel sword making factory in Toledo was very interesting. 10/10.

Spectacular guided tour of the Royal Palace

We really enjoyed our guided tour of the Royal Palace and the walk to it. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and we could tell he had a passion and enjoyment for Madrid, especially the palace. He was very friendly, and amusing. We had considered just going into the palace on our own but agreed it was definitely worth having the guide. The palace is absolutely stunning and each room is beyond amazing. We would definitely recommend this tour. The only suggestion we would have is to take 10 minutes to look inside Mercado de San Miguel rather than walk past it.

Good overview of the two cities

The tour was fine, we were taken to both the places as advertised. Tour guide Vanessa was good, driver Ernesto as well. Both Segovia and Toledo were wonderful, and unlike the other reviewers I found we spent enough time there, and enough free time too. Everything ran more or less smoothly and when it didn't it was because some customers were late or lost. The only issue is that they messaged me the night before telling me they couldn't run the English tour that day at that time and that I had to pick an alternative.

Great tour to explore Toledo and Segovia!

I feel the tour was well organized. Yes, not enough time to walk around in Toledo and maybe in Segovia. But you should go there on your own if you want more time to explore. I feel it was good value for money and time to get a feel of old cities outside of Madrid. I recommend it !

Perfect Day Trip from Madrid!

This trip was the perfect balance of having structured tours with our guide / group and having free time. Our guide, Rachel, gave excellent bi-lingual tours (Spanish/English) of both towns and answered questions along the way. Our tour included the Alcazar in Segovia which we highly recommend.

Lovely day trip from Madrid!

Great day trip from Madrid! Lovely and interesting cities: Ávila and Segovia. Tour was well scheduled and a good pace. A fair amount of walking but it is not difficult walking and there are “on your own” times. Beatriz was an excellent English speaking guide. Definitely recommend.
