What are people saying about St. Peter's Basilica

Fantastic experiences!!!
The tour meeting point was across the Vatican museum. We went in July so the lines were long but with this tour you got to skip the long lines. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and explained the most worthy exhibits. The Sistine chapel was mind blowing, the art was phenomenal. The Vatican Myseum was like going through Versailles. The St. Peter’s Basilica was huge and you can experience the holiness and the spiritual presence of the basilica.

Decent tour. The walk...
Decent tour. The walk from the meeting point to the entrance of the Vatican Museum is a throw away. You don’t get headsets until the Vatican so you can’t hear the tour guide. The tour was efficient. You get an explanation outside of St Peter’s Basilica but the guide won’t go in with you. Keep that in mind.

Amazing Vatican Tour with Shak!
We had an amazing tour of the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. Our guide, Shak, was incredibly informative, friendly, and funny, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. She explained everything really well and kept the tour engaging from start to finish. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome!

Vatican City
St. Peter's Basilica on a sunny day, Rome
  • Be prepared for security lines similar to those at airports, including metal detectors, bag scanners, and potentially long waits.

  • This is one of the most popular attractions in all of Italy, so crowds are nearly inevitable.

  • The Basilica of St. Peter has a strict dress code—no bare shoulders, midriffs, or knees—and you won't be allowed in unless you adhere to it.

  • A skip-the-line tour of the Vatican Museums that includes St. Peter's enables you to bypass the basilica's long entry lines; you still have to go through the security check.

  • Climbing the dome atop the Basilica to take in the fantastic views over St. Peter's Square, requires a ticket.
