A great tour and very personable tour guide! We were unable to go into St. Peter’s Basilica due to Easter activities but the team was kind enough to refund 15€ due to this inconvenience. Highly recommend!

Excellent tour!
The guided tour of Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica was the highlight of my trip. Our guide Cosimo was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging and covered all the main highlights at a good pace. The lines outside the Vatican were long at 8:30 in the morning and it was well worth the price to skip the lines.

Excellent tour guide; very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating.
Very informative and enjoyable tour. The guide shared great information about St Peter’s Basilica with links to Roman history. The tour of the dome was amazing too.

Our Rome Experience
Great to skip the lines. Crowd (line) when we left St Peter’s Basilica was huge Guide made it fun with a good sense of humor and was very knowledgeable. Highlight was St Peter’s Basilica, then Sistine chapel.

Vatican City
St. Peter's Basilica on a sunny day, Rome
  • Be prepared for security lines similar to those at airports, including metal detectors, bag scanners, and potentially long waits.

  • This is one of the most popular attractions in all of Italy, so crowds are nearly inevitable.

  • The Basilica of St. Peter has a strict dress code—no bare shoulders, midriffs, or knees—and you won't be allowed in unless you adhere to it.

  • A skip-the-line tour of the Vatican Museums that includes St. Peter's enables you to bypass the basilica's long entry lines; you still have to go through the security check.

  • Climbing the dome atop the Basilica to take in the fantastic views over St. Peter's Square, requires a ticket.
