What are people saying about La Fortuna

Amazing
It was wonderful. At first i was kind of skeptical because i didn't want to have a seated lesson about chocolat and coffee but in the end it was one of the best activity we had done. Bryan was amazing, he gave us so much explanation about everything (not only about cocoa or coffee) in such a didactic and dynamic way, I learned without the feeling of receiving a lesson. They provided us with on site grown fruits all along the way and they were so fresh and tasty. They also showed us different fruits trees. We were able to taste cocoa fruits from the tree and all along the different steps of production of chocolate. Plus we were a small group, everybody was able to ask any question. 100% recommend it!

Incredible experience
Our guide was Edgar and he was very knowlegeable about the plants and animal species. We all decided to take the long route which was steep in lots of places but he asked the group how we felt before the decision was made. He stopped in places for us to rest and if he or we saw animals. He even used his special binoculars to take a close up picture of a bird using our cameras over his binocular to get an amazing close up picture. It was a hard route but well worth the hike if you are able to do it. It took us 2 hours but we enjoyed it. Towards the end of the hike it is flat ground.

Great experience in La Fortuna!
Loved the whole tour! Very knowledgable! We saw sloths - even a mama moving around with her baby attached! The coffee, chocolate, and sugarcane were all delicious. You learn the whole process of each. Since the whole tour is a few hours, plan to eat beforehand so you're not antsy at the end like I was, ha ha. Great experience in La Fortuna!

Great chocolate experience incl tasting and making your own pralines
I really enjoyed this tour. We were a small group of 7 people. First the guide explained us the different cacao plants and the process, then we proceeded to tasting the raw flavor as well as the melted chocolate incl different spices. We also made our own pralines and hat a chocolate water in the end!
