What a great experience!...
What a great experience! Shout out to Brian who was funny, informative and included everyone in the experience. My daughter and I joined over an hour late due to an unexpected trip to urgent care, but Brian made sure we had as close to the full experience as possible. He skipped his 10min coffee break between tours and gave us a mini tour complete with the tastings we missed! He insisted saying “you came all the way from USA for this and we will do a speed round tour”. What a special opportunity to learn from this family farm.

We had so much fun doing the hanging bridges walking tour! Our tour guide, Jorge, was so knowledgeable and helpful throughout the tour. He pointed out a ton of cool animals that we wouldn’t have seen without him and his tools. We went during a very rainy day, but that definitely didn’t take away from the atmosphere and we enjoyed walking along the path even with the rain. The path was incredibly well maintained. I would recommend this tour to just about anyone!

This was a really nice tour. The weather wasn’t the best for swimming, but the river was really beautiful and the guide went out of his way to try to help me see some beautiful toucans on the way back. as someone with very little horseback riding experience, I was a little nervous before going out, but the horses were very calm and the guide was very helpful!

Really fun and informative
I wasn’t sure what I was getting into . We were picked up from our hotel and taken to this location I had seen from the road . I really thought this was a tourist trap . It was not - 35 acres of woods and saw about 7 Sloths . Really a great experience for kids . The coffee was really good and the cocoa and sugar can was really informative

Whole family loved it!
Porfi was a great guide! Very engaging and entertaining while also exceptionally knowledgeable. Kept our 9, 11 and 18 year old kids engaged the entire time. Good balance between history and education and delicious chocolate and fun. All the other staff were warm and welcoming too.

I visited during the rainy season, which made for a cool, refreshing hike—especially during the uphill sections. There were friendly attendants stationed at each of the hanging bridges who were incredibly helpful and even offered to take photos for me.
Although I didn’t see many animals (mostly the tiny red poison dart frogs), the stunning landscapes and peaceful atmosphere more than made up for it. Overall, it was a relaxing and rejuvenating experience that I’d definitely recommend for anyone looking to enjoy Costa Rica’s natural beauty.

The experience is really nice, it totally worths the walking and the early awakening. The people that guide you through the experiences is really nice, warm and always try to make anyone in the group part of it. I really liked the food, it was tasty and not spicy, for those that are not into hot flavors. I really recommend this tour, for solo travelers (like me) or for complete families.

Favorite activity in Costa Rica
Everything we’ve done in CR has been incredible but I think this was my absolute favorite. Our guide, Sergio, was so knowledgeable and interactive. I loved learning about the processes behind coffee and chocolate as well as the history. The grounds we were on were beautiful and we even saw a sloth! He let us try a banana from the tree as well as peppercorn! The coffee was so good and we even got to make our own chocolate bar to take home which was delicious.

David is the best!
What an incredible experience! Our guide, David, surpassed all of our expectations. Not only did we try delicious chocolate and coffee, but we learned so much about Costa Rican culture and what these beans mean to them. Highly recommend (even if you don’t like chocolate)

Enjoyable
Our tour guide Yari was great. She was very knowledgeable and made it interesting and fun. She sang songs, beat the drum and spotted a sloth in the tree. We were lucky to see the sloth since it was a rainy day. The coffee and chocolate were delicious.
