Our guide Sergio was wonderful! So knowledgeable and funny! Perfect excursion to do so much in one day. We started by hiking to the Fortuna waterfall. Then we hiked up to lava rocks for a spectacular view of the Arenal volcano. Then it was lunch time followed by the hanging bridges and then relaxing in hot springs. Great way to spend a day!

We had a great experience and the tour was awesome! The guides were amazing especially our guide Josue. He did an excellent job pointing out animals and informing us on everything. Overall it was a great experience and would definitely recommend if you’re trying to hit all the spots in La Fortuna but be prepared for a long but fun day!

One of a kind excursion! It was great to do all these main activities in one day given our limited time in La Fortuna. Our guide was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about each area and pointed out things we could have never seen on our own!!

We did the all day tour, La fortuna waterfall, Arenal volcano, hanging bridges and Tabacon hot springs. If you are in La Fortuna for a short time and want all the hits in one big day, this is a great tour! Moves at a very quick pace, but makes sure you get to see a lot of what the area has to offer in one tour! All of the transpiration and logistics was easy and smooth!

Sergio was a great tour guide, educational, made sure we saw as many things as we could, friendly and considerate. There was quite a bit of hiking but we loved the combination of tours, so much to see and such a beautiful place!

Communication was lacking during several points of the trip and prior to the trip. Also be prepared to be physically exhausted as if you do the waterfall (1000 stair steps up and down), volcano hike about 2.5 hrs, Mistico bridges more inclined hiking (1.5-2 hr) and then 20 minutes at a hot springs that I was more than happy to skip. I probably would have booked another tour to skip some of this. One of the guides was rushing everyone.

You need to be in shape for this. First stop, beautiful waterful- 500 steps down, and then back up. Rest and get your heartrate down- then off to the volcano hike. Sergio was wonderful balancing the pace and keeping the fast ones, slow ones, and in between ones moving as a group up to the spectacular views from the lava rocks. The clouds cleared briefly (seconds) but we got to see the summit. Then off the hanging bridges- the park is not flat- the views are amazing but you need to earn them. Saw spider monkeys hopping in the canopy, a pair of toucans, a bright mottled yellow snake lying in wait for prey, and a cute little olingo hunting for food. Amazing, heart pumping experience.

It was a long day. For us, it was dark by the end of the day and the hot springs were not that hot. Definitely bring shoes to wear into the springs. It’s our first time in Costa Rica and am glad we did the things we did.

This was a wonderful adventure with many different things to see and experience. Our guide, Sergio, was excellent and had such a good eye for spotting wildlife. It was a fairly strenuous day and a few of the hanging bridges made us nervous, but if you are up for it we had an awesome overall experience!

The tour was great, very well organized. We had plenty of time at the waterfall. We then went to the Arenal Volcano National Park, where we had lunch while watching some monkeys hang from the trees. After that, we went to the Mistic Park, beautiful. We finished at Choyin. Sergio, our tour guide was amazing, he would look for birds, insects and sloths to show us along the way. I completely recommend this tour, just make sure you are ready for all the hiking :) it was a long day but totally worth it.

I had SUCH a wonderful experience on this tour. Our guides Abel, and Marco were both really great. I was nervous for the hanging bridges, but after the first one, I was having a blast. Both guides helped us spot animals we wouldn't have seen on our own, and were very knowledgable about the animals and the environment. Highly recommend.

I went on this tour with my family, kids are mid 20’s and we are all active and fit. This is really 4 experiences packaged together; the La Fortuna waterfall, Arenal Volcano hike, Hanging Bridges and Hot Springs. My advice would be to pick the ones you want and do them separately, because it’s a very long day. The Waterfalls are beautiful and worth the 500 stairs back up to see them. The Arenal Volcano hike was disappointing to us. It’s a long hike, approx 2.5 hours straight up the Volcano. Add in the 35C degree heat and it’s a lot, and in our opinion the view at the top wasn’t worth it. The lunch on the way back down was delicious. The hanging bridges tour was great as well. However, our guide was as tired as the rest of us by then and didn’t seem too interested in pointing out the wildlife that wasn’t super obvious or explaining much about what we did see. Huge highlight occurred on the last bridge as a large troop of spider monkeys, probably 25, passed overhead, truly an amazing site! In the end we bailed on the final stop at the hot springs. We had been going for 9 hours in the heat and humidity by that point and had already done the hot springs a few days before. So, overall a good day, but for us, and just about everyone else in our group of 12, it was too much for one day.

It was done at a nice pace. Not hurried. Sergio was excellent! His sense of humor was delightful and his knowledge of the area and animals was impressive. He made the trip interesting and was patient with everyone and finding the best angle for taking pictures. Although the trip was 10 hours, it was worth it because there was a lot to see and experience. I highly recommend it and you should request Sergio to be your guide!

We enjoyed this activity. You do have to be fit. There are 500 stairs down to the waterfall and 500 stairs back up. There is a I don’t know two or 3 mile hike to the volcano. I think we spent too much time at the volcano, but then we hiked back down and had a very good lunch. You’re better off to have the fish which was very good because they don’t give you a knife to cut the pork or the chicken. The hanging bridges was very fun. The tour guide was great at locating the different animals to see they all bring a telescope because some of the animals are hard to see they’re high up in the trees, but he was very good at taking pictures on everybody’s phones so that we all had those memories. The hanging bridges really aren’t that scary so if you’re afraid of hanging bridges, they really aren’t that bad. I would definitely change the order of the activities. They should really start the morning with the thermal bath because it’s a little cooler out so that might be welcome. They started with the waterfall and it was still kind of cool outside, so some of us had no desire to jump in the waterfall. Whereas at the end of the day when you’re hot and sweaty, that would be very welcome. So I would just reverse it by doing the thermal baths first and then ending the day at the waterfall. But other than that very worthwhile activity, we enjoyed it very much.

We were packed like sardines, 21 guests in a single large van/small bus, which by itself was fine, but the tour experience was fairly chaotic as these guests were shared between two guides. The company had two other buses with similar numbers and there was a lot of bumping into other groups that let to painful delays. It was a lot of “hurry up and wait” which meant we went fast through the cool things without the time to enjoy them, then sitting while the other groups made it to the vans. The sites were pretty great to be sure, but best experienced in smaller portions or smaller groups. Nice guides, nice staff, lunch not the best, and I don’t wish ill on the company but just wasn’t a super experience for us.

Beautiful rainforest scenery at all 3 locations. Knowledgeable guides make every effort to locate birds/animals. Doing all 3 is a bit of a challenge as put in over 17,500 steps, most of them up hill. But I am glad I did it. I’m 78 years old.

We had an amazing full day adventure with Sergio and Johnny! We saw so many animals and wildlife (monkeys, snakes, birds, bugs)! Lots of hiking but worth it! The food was great and it was fun!
