Nature at its best!
Authentic Costa Rican experience! Great hike. Taking your time and take it all in. Drink plenty of water. The water falls, flowing rivers, and clear water are the best. Great communication with the tour operators made pick up and drop off easy. Would definitely do this again!

Rainforest adventures! Long drive but worth it
This was a great tour! We upgraded to a private tour for $200 more and I’m glad we did. My son gets motion sickness and even with all the prep he still got car sick- our drive Jose acted quickly to pull over. He was excellent! Our tour guide Alonso was really wonderful and provided so much info. It’s great to learn so much about Costa Rica while we are visiting. The waterfall was so pretty but it gets crowded with tourists and groups. The sloth sanctuary is nice and we loved seeing the sloth! Pretty sure a few of the animals were planted in spots for the guests lol but that’s okay. Bring extra cash to tip the sanctuary tour person, as well as your drive and your guide! It’s a very long day but a great option for anyone that isn’t staying central.

Low Key Taste of Costa Rica
This is a low key and fun excursion. We started with a long car ride into the rainforest where we sipped coffee and tasted some local chocolate. We then took a short stroll through a sanctuary where we got to see a sloth close up! We also got to see many other animals in the sanctuary and throughout the trip including monkeys, iguanas, snakes, butterflies and a frog. On the road to lunch we saw some Toucans thanks to our driver Dayro who made a special effort to find some for us. We ended the excursion with a dip in an easily accessible waterfall. Our guide was friendly and patient and did a good job of explaining some of the key sights and sounds of Costa Rica. This is a great excursion for those looking for a relaxed way to experience the country.

Yorlen was amazing
Yorlen was our driver and he was incredibly helpful! We got delayed longer than originally planned getting off the plane and going through customs, but he was still waiting outside for us. We chatted with Carlos through WhatsApp the whole time and he was super responsive which helped ease my anxiety a lot. Yorlen gave us insight into local areas and things to do along with general knowledge. He was also incredible when I started feeling carsick in the windy roads and pulled over for us to take a break. Honestly one of the best experiences with transports we’ve had. Loved them so much were booking with them again on our return trip.

Liberia is a great base camp for exploring Costa Rica’s fabulous national parks, dense rainforest, volcanic hot springs, and cascading waterfalls in the northwest section of the country. Many Liberia tours feature exciting outdoor adventures like horseback riding, ATV driving, whitewater rafting, river tubing, and ziplining. Cultural tours give you the opportunity to learn more about sugarcane farming or sample locally grown coffee and chocolate. Animal lovers, meanwhile, might like to visit a sloth sanctuary to learn more about this curious slow-moving creature.
