Congo Combo for the win
Our guides were awesome, led by Cristal (sp?). There were a couple nervous participants in our group and they set them at East through thoroughly educating us on safety, and also through humor. My daughters are 12 and 15, and they had a blast, even hanging upside down on one line and the tarzan swing. The first two lines are shorter so they prep you for the other lines, including the last one, which is really long with gorgeous river valley views. I even saw a white hawk, which apparently is rare! The fruit and water at the end was refreshing too. Prior to that we went to the Mistico Park Hanging Bridges. I was enthralled with the rainforest even though we've been in it for four days. Our guide, Manuel pointed out wildlife, and engaged my youngest with animal facts and questions. She and I like animal documentaries. We saw spider monkeys, toucans, many birds, two eyelash vipers (don't worry, they're small and don't care about you), and even a poison dart frog. (Also super small). The bridges are cool and we went down to get a good pic of the beautiful waterfall. Walking was pretty easy, but I can imagine if it were raining, the paths would be slick. We were told to bring closed toed shoes but may have been fine with athletic sandals. Try the piña colada slushy when you're done. You won't regret it. Jacamar split our large group in half so we enjoyed the smaller group with Manuel. My teenager wasn't as enthralled as we were but she hung in. She loved the Zipline though. We got views of the volcano and had a sunny day so we were really lucky. I would highly recommend this tour combo and Jacamar tours.

Just jump!
This was a very unique experience for our group! We really enjoyed the thrill and challenge of the experience. Be brave because it's worth it. We always felt safe, but one of the rappels was really high and some of us closed our eyes on the monkey drop. :) If you are an even moderately brave group, I recommend this excursion. Physical and mental strength are beneficial to enjoy it!

Ziplining & Tarzan Swing
We had an amazing ziplining experience with Jacamar Naturalist Tours. The team was amazing. They were knowledgeable, funny and experts at their job. They made sure we were safe and comfortable at all times. It was our first time ziplining and doing the tarzan swing, but with their help and motivation it was smooth and an unforgettable experience. We even got some amazing photos of the entire experience. We 100% recommend doing the ziplining and tarzan swing with Jacamar Naturalist Tours when you visit La Fortuna, your vacation would be even more awesome. Thank you Jacamar team for an unforgettable experience!

200% wet. Guides were fantastic. MUST DO
myself, husband and twin 18 year olds did this tour. Estimated to be 3 hours. They picked us up at 730, and dropped us off at 1pm! this included all transportation, safety briefings, getting fit for gear, doing drops, ziplining, river walking, waterfall jumping, changing, having lunch and transportion back. They provide water, towels and a great adventure! I was very hesitant. They made me feel comfortable! Everyone in our group would do this tour again. Eldo & Kendall were fantastic guides. If you are moderately fit, like adventure and are deciding between 2 excursions, pick this one! The lunch was decent and there was a fantastic view of the mountain before we left.
