Second time taking the class!
This was my second time taking a group to the cooking class, and each time, it has been fantastic! It's such a personal way to learn about the region, the culture, and have some out-of-this-world food! Both groups I've taken have been high school-aged, and they are always raving about the experience afterward. If you're wondering if you should give it a try, don't think twice!

Great tour!
We had an excellent time! The clear bottom kayaks didnt add much to the experience and took a little bit to get comfortable. We weren't able to do the whole tour because of the weather so maybe other parts of the tour on clearer days would have made the clear kayaks cool. We loved the tour though. Esteban dud a great job and showed us lots of insects lizards birds and plant life. We also saw a few sloths and lots of monkeys. The hike was a lot of fun where we saw a few more sloths and learned about some history of punta uva and some more about plant life. We went with a 10 month old and a 3 year old. Both fussed a little bit during the kayak tour but eventually fell asleep. They both loved the hiking part!

Highly educational and fun experience that ignites all the senses!
A MUST do! Elisio was a fantastic guide- highly professional, educational, and friendly. We learned about the Bri Bri culture through historical context but also from Elisio’s personal background and experience as a person of Bri Bri ethnic background. We examined artifacts, and got a succinct history lesson. Firsthand, we experienced roasting cacao beans, grinding in the traditional manner, and finally getting to sample the cacao paste in a carmelized banana which was delicious and nutritious. We learned about the Bri Bri culture and how they have adapted to modern times. Every sense was ignited as there was a lot to see, hear, smell, taste, and feel! We then visited the Bri Bri waterfall and it was a refreshing swim and great because barely anyone else was there in mid-June. Great way to spend a morning and early afternoon and learn about the local culture!

Book now or miss out on something very special!!!!
This was genuinely one of the most special experiences of my entire life! Our guide was beyond passionate, knowledgeable, and kind. We first began with a walking tour where he pointed out floral and fauna, as well as important cultural elements. After, we kayaked down the most beautiful river where he continued to educate us and point out animals we surely would’ve missed without him. I had never kayaked before, and now I love it! Our guide even found us a sloth coming down a tree from the river which is very rare! If you are thinking about booking this, you need to right now bc if you do not you’ll seriously miss out on something so special!

Best way to see wildlife in Costa Rica
Great tour if you want to see wildlife. The kayak tour was relaxed with plenty of shade, which was nice. We saw plenty of tortugas right next to the kayak, a few sloths further up in the tree, a toucan, monkeys, and some other animals. Estaban was an excellent guide!

We couldn’t have asked...
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience at the Cahuita National Park and local community. Ariel, who is native to the area and owner of the company, was a phenomenal guide. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and he went above and beyond to ensure we saw as much as possible in the park. With his telescope, we got some amazing views and pictures. Even better was our time with the indigenous BriBri community. We loved learning about their history, way of life, preservation of their culture and even participated in making different chocolate products. Ariel made every bit of the experience unforgettable.

Wonderful day in Costa Rica
This private tour was incredible! We were met by our guides Kathi and George were very knowledgeable and pointed out treasures of the jungle we would have never been able to find. We were fortunate enough to see sloths monkeys crocs and iguanas.
They took very good care of us providing bottles of water and fresh fruit.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour group!

A Beautiful Day in Costa Rica
The scenery was absolutely breathtaking—lush, vibrant, and unforgettable—but what made the experience even more special were our hostess, Rachel, and our driver, Alex.
Rachel was incredible—warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment, even taking us out of her way to give us a local experience. That personal touch meant so much.
Alex was just as wonderful—professional, friendly, and funny. He made us feel safe and relaxed throughout the entire journey.
Together, they made the experience seamless and memorable. I would absolutely recommend this tour, and I’m so grateful we had Rachel and Alex guiding us through such a beautiful place.

If you love plants, history, chocolate, and waterfalls, THIS is the trip to take
Braulio is an amazing guide. He is knowledgeable, interesting, and has an intimate connection to everything he shares. His English is excellent, and he has a refreshingly positive worldview. The trip to the Bribri family farm was enlightening, and it was very fun to make chocolate from scratch...and then, of course, drink and eat it! The trip to the waterfall was truly something worthwhile. It had been raining a lot in the previous days, so the trail was muddy, and there were some stairs to navigate, but he was very patient and kind, helping us manage it all (literally - holding arms and keeping us upright!) so we could fulfill our dream of swimming in the waterfall waters. He has new, clean transportation, and it was extremely convenient that he picked us up and dropped us off directly from our hotel and another couple from their airb&b. If you love plants, history, chocolate, and waterfalls, THIS is the trip to take and THIS for sure is the person to take it with. I also loved that we were home by 1 PM so that there was plenty of the day left to do other things.

Zip Line was Amazing!!
My friends and husband told me they would try a zip line, if I would . Boy! Did we pick the right one!!! Everyone had a fabulous time and the guides were superb! Jose was our guide on the island and we had a nice boat ride on the canal and a short trip to a banana plantation. Those two were fine, but the zip line will be with us forever! It was thrilling, but without fear. Those guys were real pros and what a ride! The zip line was high, long and fast. Well worth every cent!
