One day adventure out of Dublin

We booked this tour last minute and we are glad we did. Meeting place was in a great location. The tour bus was very clean and comfortable. Mac (our tour guide) was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable. The stops were great. First stop was Glendalough. Wasn’t sure what was in Glendalough so we had no expectations. However, it was beautiful. Second stop was Wicklow mountains. Again, beautiful but it was a quick stop for photo op. Last stop was Kilkenny. We had lunch at Kyteler’s Inn pub. Afterwards stopped at Matt the Millers for an Irish Coffee. It was the best Irish coffee I have ever had. It was only my second one in Ireland but it was fantastic! Wanted to tour the castle but we procrastinated and didn’t get tickets. So we Walked around the castle and the gardens. Loaded up back on the bus at 4:00 and headed back. It was a wonderful day adventure.

A great way to see the Cliffs of Moher +++! We had a wonderful day seeing the Wild Atlantic Way - So much in one outing! The sites were amazing - a perfect sunny day, but the highlight was our tour guide and bus driver, Tommy Dixon. He maneuvered the roads and gave personal and informative history of Ireland on the way! He managed to connect with everyone on the trip - so much so that when he drove by us the next day on the streets of Galway, he remembered us and honked!! It could not have been a nicer day! Great experience! The Dunguaire castle was historic and we loved the Aillwee caves!! The Cliffs of Moher were breathtaking and we had plenty of time to walk them. John B the bus driver/guide was full of information and humor. Tip: the admission to the caves is not included but wait to purchase until you arrive because they offer a heavily discounted price to this tour upon arrival (more than half off)

Eve is the best tour guide!!

This was the absolute best tour during our time in Ireland, and Eve might be our favorite tour guide ever (and that’s based on travel to over 30 countries). Even though this tour had lots of travel time, she utilized every minute of it with interesting information or music, and she is very knowledgeable about Ireland’s history. This is our second tour with Wild Rover, and their tours have also impressed me overall in terms of logistics/planning/and quality of transport. We lucked out with weather at the Cliffs of Moher today, and Galway was a beautiful little city to spend a few hours in. Overall, very impressed and had a wonderful day. Amazing tour

What an experience. The tour was very informative and educational. The staff were amazing and very accommodating. We needed a wheelchair which was free to use and access was incredible. The staff noticed we had a chair and made our tour as easy as possible even down to the gravity bar on level 7 where there was priority seating by the window overlooking the city into the hills. All in all, a brilliant experience and highly recommended.

Tour guide Sean and driver Billy were a great pair. Organized, friendly, punctual and engaging. Unfortunately the weather wasn't in our favour but overall the experience was great especially Giants Causeway. Belfast wasn't what I was expecting as it's a pretty modern city, but it was a nice place for a coffee and pastry and because of the music festival it was lively.

From Canada to Dublin - Haigh!

Excellent tour with Fergus today. We learned so much history but also got to go one of the most interesting and memorable tours we’ve ever been on. There’s never enough time to see everything but Fergus really made the most of our experience together and made everyone feel comfortable and curious about all of the things we had to see. One of my favourite parts of the tour was singing the Molly Malone song with the whole tour group in front of the Molly Malone statue. It was so wholesome and was the perfect way to start the tour! I would recommend this tour to everyone because you truly can’t see everything but it sure feels like you’re doing so much in a short amount of time.
