These 2 days trip allow you to have one day just for Belfast and so to have enough time to visit the city, without being a rush. In the second day you can see great spots of Northern Ireland. I definitely recommend it. All the guides were great!

Visiting Northern Ireland and Giants Causeway. Loved the first day of the two day tour, fantastic commentary and songs that matched the area.

Pick up was a nightmare as we told Beresford place was our pick up point. Buses came to Gardiner lower street where no one was. There should be someone to organise who got on which bus or which side. Day one bus driver was nice but didn’t have any patience- he knew the history which was great. Titanic was a great experience very enjoyable.
The accommodation was not bed and breakfast - nice enough but had one bed instead of twin beds as requested. They moved us to another room
Day two was brilliant starting with the bus driver who made the day great. He has a great system of preordering lunch as well as arranging black cabs for those who wanted them. All stops were great and Frank the driver knew the history behind them all

We did the 2 day tour. What they don’t tell you is they will put you an another tour bus on the 2nd day.
We were shuffled between a day tour and a 6 day tour. The new bus was full and You won’t have a seat together if you are traveling with someone. We also had to revisit several of the same things that we saw earlier in the day before heading back to Dublin.

Great trip.
Viator gave me the wrong address, which paddywagon says happens often, so make sure you go early for any mix ups.
Great tour, bus is easy to spot and all the guides are great.

This was our first 2 days tour. We already had a 1 day Tour before.
-Meeting Point-
At the beginning we we're afraid to miss the bus because of the 1 Star Reviews here, so we came a lot earlier. 40 min before the Trip started we figured Out that there were 2 different Meeting Points on the the printed Ticket and app. The Paddywagon Shop was nearby so we simply asked and the Problem was solved. Luckely we only had to walk 7 min. At the right Meeting Point, it was hard to find the correct bus because there were so many. We asked all Bus drivers and the Problem was also solved , but it took maybe 15 min. One Bus driver added a handwritten sign on the bus - very helpful every guide should do it in my opinion.
-bus-
Our Bus was small compared to the others ( no big Deal). Actually, the Seats were more comfortable. There are also hidden USB Ports, sadly we found Them at the end of the first day. WiFi didn't seem to work.
-people-
The Bus driver was nice. He shared a lot of historical Input.
Our group was very friendly. a lot of older women. One of Them acted a tiny bit extra sometimes (only the Guide had to Deal with Her.)
-first day-
Everything was closed in Belfast because of the queen's funeral. So we switched the Programm of the Tour. mainly we saw the ocean on the First day. There was only one big Stop for causeway (circa 2 hours). The other stopps took 10-20 min each. Sadly we couldn't visit the carring a rede Bridge as promised on the Website.
-Hotel-
We booked b&b. In our Case it was a 'hilton' Hotel. Very nice and big.
-2nd day-
In the morning we visited a botanic Garden in Belfast for circa an half hour.
Afterwards, Some of the group booked the black Taxi Tour for an hour. We stayed 2 hours in Belfast in the meantime. The Titanic Museum was fun. And the end we saw a graveyard.
-summary-
There was a lot of Sitting inside the Bus. Busdriver was Always in time. After all it was fun and we got to See a lot of Ireland's Landscape.

Loved Belfast and other places in Northern Ireland. Our driver was very knowledgeable and the black taxi tour was great. Highly recommend this tour.

I picked this 2 day Irish tour package after I was notified by Viator that my first choice was unavailable. This one was only slightly different. I had reservations about the bus trip instead of train and the overnight being a b&b instead of a 4 star hotel. However I was blown away! The bus trip up was fantastic, we had a guide, Vincent, who was both informative and hilarious, the stops we made were gorgeous and exciting, and if the accommodations for the overnight weren't 4 starts worthy I would be shocked. We did have to have a different driver on the way back to Dublin (company keeps busses full by switching 1 day, 2 day, and 6 day passengers between buses) but the transition was smooth enough and the new driver was also nice. I have to say that if you're aiming to get a really solid experience, go with the 2 day or 6 day. If we had the time we would have kept on as long as we could have. My only regret is that we didn't have time for a longer tour.

Day one: Titanic museum was more interesting that I expected, GoT experience quick and only for fans. And for those interested in history and politics of the area, the Black taxi tour was fascinating.
Day two: Rope bridge and Giants causeway were so beautiful. Plan to hike to the end of broth trails even in the pouring rain!

We had two days to kill before attending a family birthday party in Cavan, so we thought we'd try something different. This was way better than we expected. Many reviews complained of not enough time at each stop, but we thought it was just right or they wouldn't have been able to squeeze so many amazing sights in. Both our drivers were great, we loved Paul, very entertaining. We upgraded to the hotel as opposed to the hostel and it was so worth it. The staff at the Ibis Hotel were awesome! We also opted to add on the Black Taxi tour which was extremely informative. The only bad experience we had was a rude taxi driver that drove us from the hotel to the day two pick up spot. The tour bus would not pick us up from our hotel, but they gave us money to pay for the cab fare. Apparently we were short for the four of us and when I went in to ask for help from the staff at the pick up spot (we were out of cash and only had our credit cards), the cab driver proceeded to call my group "typical Americans always looking for a handout", then threw our bags on the street and drove off with my friends' coat still in the car. The staff called the cab company and he was extremely upset that he had to come back and bring the coat. Other than that, we would definitely do another tour with Viator/PaddyWagon Tours!

Our guide showed up at 8:45 am for an 8:15 trip...customer service didn't really care they said oh well you saw everything anyways...well you think they could have done something for the 60 people who waited 45 minutes or more and many in the cold but no...then the black taxi tour was 8.50 on their brochure online but we paid 15.00 oh sorry that was last year price we will change it...it went up that much??? We were suppose to stay in a bnb when we got there we were told we were staying in a hotel?? Where is the bnb and we have none...now the hotel was nice but again wrong information. We needed more than 2 hours at the Titanic museum.
Now the second day only 2 taxis were sent out to pick up the group at hotel so when the last group came out no taxi...they were late and had to get to the bus with another group?? But the tour guy was great he had so much info to tell us that was interesting...but the last stop in Belfast not sure why we go there again at end of day for an hour...We were rushing to try to find a place to eat ...we needed to be told that the shopping centre had many places . By the time we got there and found them we didn't have time to eat it was a rush and we didn't want to be late as he had already left some people behind (now to his credit he did wait 15 minutes for them) and he mentioned if you are late there are many buses going back to Dublin...so all in all I saw to many things that went wrong with paddy wagon tours in the 2 days

The trip included so many fantastic works of nature in this northern side of Ireland.
Best to have everyone look forward and positive

The two day Northern Ireland your was perfect for hitting most of the major attractions of this area in a short amount of time. The tour guide the first day was friendly and entertaining. We chose the hotel option for overnight accomodations and stayed at the Ibis in Belfast which was way nicer than we anticipated. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. If you are looking for an overnight tour in this area, I highly recommend this tour.

Brian & Darren did an amazing job on our tour. We learned great parts of belfast history and saw beautiful places, of Giants Causeway, Rope bridge of Carrick, and Black Hedges.
GoPlaces553518, Sep 2018
Our tour was fantastic , first day we visited titanic experience, I wouldn’t recommend the black taxi if you want to see Belfast, we spend 45 min.on the different internal conflict and the wall. I preferred to see a little more of Belfast...Paul our bus driver was very good at story telling of his beautiful Ireland. And in spite of been caught up in a storm , be visited the giant causeway and dark hedges..I loved visiting Ireland and taking this tour.My only negative comment will be about the backpackers hostel that the tour offers... not a clean place!!..I recommend you go another place.
knmsmom31120, Jul 2018
We enjoyed this tour. Belfast is an interesting city. Do the black cab tour for sure. The giants causeway and rope bridge were one of the highlights of our trip. Our driver Jerry was great. The tour was very well organized. I’m glad we did the 2 day tour because I think doing this all in one day would be too rushed.
Carmen_P, Jul 2018
Great tour, the accommodations need to be upgraded for sure. I paid extra for the B and B and almost felt like a hostel. I would have booked my own accommodations if I would have known where we were staying.
Anna S, Feb 2018
Very entertaining trip to Northern Ireland. Frank the guide/bus driver was absolutely fantastic. There was enough time to see and experience the sights and places. The B and B was ok in Belfast.
I liked the second day better. It wasn't raining! And all the places we visited were amazing and beautiful.
Andrew G, Dec 2017
This trip was very enjoyable. Both of our Guides were great. I'd definitely recommend two things: 1 Pay the extra money to stay somewhere other than the Hostel. A Tripmate had a bad experience, while I thoroughly enjoyed the B and B actually a hotel. 2 Pay the extra money for the Black Taxi Tour option. This is well-worth the extra expense, and gives you a real feel for the history of Belfast, The Troubles, and the current situation there Brexit issues. You may feel a little rushed at The Titanic Experience if you are too casual with your walking. My finally tip is this, make friends. I met two great people who are now good friends. That's the perfect way to make these memories last!
Maryann_B, Oct 2017
The tour included some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Our guide gave brilliant descriptions of all of the stops we made. The highlight for us was Giants' Causeway. Don't miss this tour and make sure to hire the Black Taxi approx. 15 US which takes you into the neighborhoods where the troubles were.
EmilyGabriela_P, Aug 2016
It was fun. 1st day, The Celtic crosses were nice and the Titanic museum was okay but nothing really amazing. The optional Black Taxi tour was interesting. It focused on a lot on history past/present of troubles in Northern Ireland.
I stayed in the Hostel Patty's Place in Dublin, they were able to give me a single room. Bathroom had showers which were not the best but worked. At the hostel, I did not meet a lot people but I did run into a few. The area was okay. The young woman was able to give me recommendations but it was confusing finding restaurants/bars, you're on your own for that so Research ahead of time!!
The best day was the 2nd day, we went to see the Dark Hedges, where there was A LOT of tourists all trying to take pictures. Also Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is rather a small bridge but the island, which is said to be a part of Scotland, is very beautiful but is a bit far of walk/hike along the hillside and a lot of stairs. BE prepared!!
Giant's Causeway is also very beautiful and has some trails leading to different areas, which I wasn't aware of until almost the end of the time allotted. The pre-recorded tour guide for Giant's Causeway is not worth it. Dunlace Castle stop at the end was from far away, so it didn't arouse curiosity as stated. FOR DAY 2, I highly recommend good walking shoes or even hiking boots AND water.
Arezou E, Jul 2016
I enjoyed the second day better then the first. I would highly recommend staying in Belfast. It is a great city!
Michel_B, Jul 2016
I was disapointed by the tour. The schedule was not respected at all. On the second day, we started the tour with a 45 min delay. We had only 1 hour and 15 min to visit the Titanic museum and it was really not sufficient. No time allowed for lunch. The guide was also the driver and it was difficult to obtain information.
Brian S, Jun 2016
Our favorite place on our entire trip was the rope bridge! It's absolutely beautiful there and the bridge is quite an experience! The "bed and breakfast" was basically a hostel. I assumed it would be someone's house. :-( The black taxi tour in Belfast is worth it! The Dark Hedges were amazing!
Sylvia V, Jun 2016
Very fine, efficiently run, well-prepared drivers.
Elizabeth C, Jun 2016
The tour itself was great. But our reservation was lost and took some sorting out to see if we would even be able to get on the coach. Also the accommodation was not ready in Belfast
when we arrived. But the guides and places we visited were amazing.
Jan W, Jun 2016
I believe this is a somewhat new tour package, and it was a bit disappointing. I recommend planning your own overnight lodging and transportation to local sights in Northern Ireland. The tour stops themselves were wonderful however, we were not informed that we would have a 1-1/2 hour wait at the Giant's Causeway for another bus to return us to Dublin on Day 2. In addition, we trusted Viator's word on the bed and breakfast lodging, which actually was more like a hostel serving a mediocre hot breakfast with mystery juice that was reminiscent of watery Kool-Aid. In addition, we were unable to stop and walk around Dunluce Castle, one of the promised stopping points. The Paddy Wagon tour guide Sean was not very informative on our surroundings as we traveled through the countryside. Sorry to leave negative comments, but there it is! We did appreciate, however, that the return guide brought as close to our Airbnb rental as possible to drop us off with our luggage.
Davina J, Jun 2016
This is 2 separate day tours from Dublin combined, where you sleep in Belfast rather than returning to Dublin with the first tour then leaving from there with the second. This means that you get more time in Belfast, but I was disappointed to miss out on information or stops during the time returning to Dublin.
On the 1st day, the tour guide was very friendly and talkative Frank, and it was a small group in a minibus the second day was a large coach. In Belfast, we had the option to go on the Black Cab tour around the peace wall, etc. and it's worth it!. This lasted around an hour, leaving an hour for seeing Belfast. Next, the Titanic Experience was fantastic, although time was a little short there. The online itinerary is incorrect, as we did not visit Monasterboice maybe others did it on the return to Dublin, I don't know.
The accommodation is distant from the centre of the city Backpacker option is Paddys Palace Hostel on Fitzwilliam St and is actually one of the worst hostels I've ever stayed in. Bathrooms were dirty and locks on the doors often didn't work. Plates in the kitchens weren't clean. No lockers in the rooms and barely any power outlets. I heard from the others in the economy option that theirs wasn't much better e.g. no working showers.
The tour on the 2nd day was okay. We visited some great sites, although not a lot of information was provided about them again maybe this happened during the part from Dublin. There was plenty of time at Carrick-a-rede and the Giant's Causeway, but only 10 minutes at Dark Hedges and only a couple of minutes next to the road to take photos of Dunluce Castle. Ballintoy is purely a lunch stop, though Game of Thrones fans could probably walk to the harbour and back if they skipped lunch. The tour also included an hour in Belfast at the end of the day, which was a waste of time given we had just been there the day/night before.
Overall, it was not a well organised tour. Time could be much better optimised.
Julie_R, Jul 2024
