This is a nice drive to a beautiful coastal town that offers stunning views & good seafood. The weather quickly changes so come prepared.
The coastal walk was short but enough time to enjoy the view & take photos.
Hopefully your day the weather is as good as it was during my visit.
The bus driver did a narrative of the sites and navigated the narrow streets & construction with ease.

A fabulous coastal exploration day! Tracked with mother (73), spouse (53) and daughter (21). Tour guide informative and told a good story. Our total walk to meet the tour, do the hike, and return from tour to hotel was over 5 miles. The hike happened on a sunny, clear day which was exceptional. It did just get to be too much for mom (age 73) by last mile or so. There was a less physical option offered. The hike was not strenuous at all. Breathtaking scenery. With all our photo stops on the hike, only left about 20 minutes for restroom break (was a line) and very quick shopping,

Lovely day out. Weather was great, so I took the long way along the cliffs. Dublin sites seemed mainly on our right on the way out.

Pleasant hike. Steep downhill rocky steps at start. Pace is good. Not much to see in village. Good ice cream!

A nice half day experience. The view at the Howth Cliffs is spectacular but I wish we had more time to do the walk there, we only had 30 minutes. I would have preferred less time in the town of Howth and more at the cliff. However, it was still a lovely trip overall. Our tour guide Nial was incredibly knowledgeable and funny.

A bus ride to this adorable fishing village was the perfect way to spend the afternoon of our arrival. After the bus ride, you gave free time to walk around; go down to the water, have a snack at any of the numerous pubs or shop! Robby was a good guide and all enjoyed the experience.

The right guide absolutely makes this trip. We left on a rainy morning and as soon as we got on, our guide, Jerry, warmly welcomed us and everyone else on the bus, entertaining us all with his knowledge about where each person came from. As we travelled out of Dublin, Jerry told us about the architecture and different sights along the way. He was incredibly entertaining, in a way we would be hard pressed to replicate with other guides on other adventures. His knowledge of Ireland was impressive, entertaining, and incredibly informative. He kept the mood light and jovial. As we went to the top of Howth Cliff, the dog had rolled in and visibility was rubbish. Jerry still found a way to make it fun. Heading down to the village itself was wonderful as it wasn't over stuffed with tourists yet. We came back to the bus a bit early and Jerry was warm and welcoming. All and all, we were incredibly happy to have had the experience and wished Jerry could guide us to all of our holiday adventures!

I thought this was a great half day trip from Dublin. It was nice to get out of the city and see the beautiful coast, particularly because this trip, for me didn’t include time outside of Dublin.

This is more of a tour of Dublin on a ride to Howth. You are dropped off at two spots in Howth to walk around on your own. Lots of useful info about Dublin not a whole lot about Howth
