Friendly staff, delicious food, wonderful tea selection, and a funny and knowledgeable tour guide. Would recommend this for families, friend groups, and anyone wanting to enjoy afternoon tea with a Dublin twist :-)

This was a great way to see the Dublin sights and learn a little bit about the history, all while enjoying a traditional afternoon tea. The bus is adorably decorated, the sandwiches and treats were delicious, and the tea was lovely. My two teenaged girls loved it, and if you have teenagers, you know what a ringing endorsement that is!

Definitely recommend this tour if your looking for a charming way to see some of the City. Our guide and driver were friendly, knowledgeable and made the experience feel quaint. Combining sightseeing with tea and delicious foods delivered on both fronts. Filled with just enough stories and context to make you feel connected to what you were seeing outside the window. A completely unexpected and exciting moment was catching sight of the President’s motorcade as it made its way to the Easter parade. It added a surprising touch of excitement and made the day feel even more uniquely Irish and memorable.

Superb work guys

From start to finish, this tour and tea was superb. The staff were fantastic and very informative. The food was great and fresh. Overall highly recommend the tour.

Good tea, poor ride

Southern_B, Aug 2026
Tea bus is cute, the food tasty, but the young tour guide spoke too fast and with her accent it was too hard to understand. She has little knowledge of landmarks asked about and the driver was going too fast over speed bumps so your tray was sliding everywhere. Would not recommend. They would do better to just offer a 30 minute tea at their bus stand.

Highly recommend!

Tea Bus Tour

Leslie_K, Aug 2026
To start the tea bus tour idea is a great one. However, the food was not good and the commentary on Dublin history was seriously lacking. The tour was late to start and there was a malfunction with the kitchen which caused issues with the food. The excuses got old.

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Hi Leslie, thanks so much for your feedback. Unfortunately, we did have power issues on the day which caused the bus to be delayed slightly and for our oven to be out of action for your tour. Our apologies for the inconvenience and thanks again for your feedback.

The bus is charming. The staff was very polite. We didn’t get a scone because there were not enough plain ones and the teenagers I was with would not eat the currant ones. The ride goes quick. It was an enjoyable 1.5hrs.

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Hi, thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review and for your kind words about our staff. We do carry both fruit and plain scones on board. I'm sorry that your preferred option was no longer available on the day. Thanks again for your feedback.

Great fun

A vintage 1960s bus in Dublin in a heatwave was a bit warm! But the guides were lovely (Nadine Hannah and Zeebe) and the food was delicious. The fun facts were just right. A great way to spend an afternoon in Dublin.

Unique way to see parts of Dublin

Olga_T, Aug 2026
Food and tea was great, guide was informative and we visited (drive by) sites that we didn't see on other tours.

Highlight of our Dublin trip – 10/10 Experience!

Andia_H, Aug 2026
If you’re looking for a fun, relaxed, and stress-free way to see some of Dublin’s top sights, you have to book this! You get to sip delicious tea, enjoy yummy treats (still thinking about the lemon raspberry tart) and catch a great little history lesson all aboard the cutest vintage bus. We went to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday, and we both had an absolute ball. The meeting point was so convenient. The staff bring the best energy—they’re exceptionally kind, engaging, helpful, and hilarious, making this a fantastic option whether you’re celebrating with family or out on a solo adventure. Good energy all around with Vintage Tea Trips!

Loved it!! Best way to do afternoon tea and if you haven’t?! MUST

Lily_B, Aug 2026
Best way to have a bite while seeing a good bit of the city! Things we wouldn’t have seen otherwise with commentary to boot! Food and drinks were lovely; as well as the bus! So very fun to be able to see so much and experience afternoon tea with my husband; all while staying out of the drizzle and sometimes heavier precipitation. Wonderful! Will definitely do again next time in the country. We did have afternoon tea elsewhere and it was lovely too but having a moving seat with a view? So neat and very Harry Potter style with the double decker.

Different and fun

Highly recommend. The food was delicious and plentiful. The hostesses were friendly and attentive. Do it!

Delicious, informative and fun!

Such an amazing experience hosted by Logan, who gave us some really interesting information about Dublins sights. Relaxing with the most delicious high tea!

High tea in Dublin

David_S, Jul 2026
Very enjoyable being driven around having a light lunch with cake tea and coffee. Kaitlyn giving a commentary as well

Just average

Stuart_R, Jul 2026
No other drink options than coffee or tea. We sat downstairs and it’s stuffy, no AC but no air flow either. The “tour” was very little. It’s mainly just driving around while eating. However the food included was very tasty. I’d rather book a true city tour and stop for an afternoon tea if I had to pick again.

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Hi Stuart. Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We really appreciate it. As ours is a vintage bus I'm afraid there is no air conditioning on board. Regarding drinks, we offer a range of teas and coffees on board as well as hot chocolate, juices and water. The tour itself is a semi-guided tour with our hosts sharing some of their favourite stories and history about the city. Thanks again for your feedback.

What a delicious and delightful way to see Dublin. I didn’t really know what to expect, so what a surprise at the amount of absolutely delicious food and beverages that were offered. We had skipped lunch and did not leave the tour hungry. Not only was the food amazing, Aaron, Logan and Olivia were great hosts and guides. The organization was impressive, and incredible what they are able to provide in such a small space. We all loved this adventure. I highly recommend this tour.

Great experience- highly recommended

Andrew_T, Jul 2026
Great experience. Logan and the team were professional, friendly and easy/going. Commentary was perfect - spoke for about 5 minutes in every 15 - and humorous too. Great music in between. The tea was excellent- exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended.

Nice tour, a bit overpriced

Christine_E, Jul 2026
This tour was a nice way to sea Dublin and enjoy some treats. The most important thing to me is that they had a real vegan option: sandwiches, desserts, and even a real scone. You just have to let them know in advance. I feel like $68/£60 is a bit steep for what you get, but that’s Dublin!

Great experience!

Better than expected! Tour guide Nicole & crew including the bus driver Liam were welcoming & cheery. We had a great time & the tea offerings & food were delicious.

Mariah_A, Jul 2026
This activity was so cute! The staff are so sweet and informative with some punny humor. The buss keeps moving the entire time and they give a handful of facts when we drive by certain significant places- they don’t talk the entire time so you can sip your tea and eat and chat in between places. If you need to take a load off and want some fact tidbits along with something in your stomach then I’d recommend this.

Thoroughly enjoyable!

Toni_B, Jul 2026
What a fun experience! My husband, my elderly mother and I did this tour, and we had a ball. First, know the food was excellent -- tasty and substantial. Second, the staff had a perfect attitude. It was lighthearted and enjoyable, with some really terrific dialogue by Fiachra. Hannah and Bailey were charming and helpful, and while I never interacted Paddy, I admire anyone who can drive a bus so smoothly in a tight urban environment so packed with pedestrians, commuter, scooters, etc. plus the normal traffic. I tend to be wary of such touristy jaunts, however, I would do this one again in a red hot minute.

Sweet Tour!

Shawn_R, Jul 2026
Great way to tour around Dublin with yummy treats and tea. Great narrated journey! Enjoyed the fabulous double decker.

High tea on the road

Gary_R, Jul 2026

Great staff - very warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. Drinks were great and the food delicious! We took our leftovers and I'm not ashamed to admit that I tucked in to them later that evening from a hotel bed.

Easy and great tea

Gary_M, Jul 2026
Great experience and great tea The guide was knowledge and fun to listen too, the nosh was great the carrot cake was perfect

Quick peek at Dublin

Merry_H, Jul 2026
Great fun, but if you have mobility issues request that you’ll be on the first floor of the bus because it’s tricky to get up to the second floor.

Overall, a great experience

Lauren_C, Jul 2026
Our tour guide whose name I cannot remember - but he was young, tall, and lanky with a great sense of humor - truly made the experience worthwhile! Oh! And he wore glasses. My son and I learned so much about the history of Ireland and the places we passed by but it never felt like a boring history lesson. Instead, it was truly entertaining! My son and I did not find the food particularly appetizing but the other guests on the bus seemed to enjoy it.

Fun Start to Dublin

Li_H, Jul 2026
Super fun experience! Nice as a start out while still jet lagged for sure. Aaron was a fun tour guide. The fruit scones were warm and amazing.
