Easy to find. Friendly staff, good snacks, hot tea. This is a casual tour without the formality of other tours I’ve taken. Very young at heart. Nice way to spend some time snacking and seeing some sights.

Definitely recommend this tour if your looking for a charming way to see some of the City. Our guide and driver were friendly, knowledgeable and made the experience feel quaint. Combining sightseeing with tea and delicious foods delivered on both fronts. Filled with just enough stories and context to make you feel connected to what you were seeing outside the window. A completely unexpected and exciting moment was catching sight of the President’s motorcade as it made its way to the Easter parade. It added a surprising touch of excitement and made the day feel even more uniquely Irish and memorable.

It was okay. Not much of a tour. The food was decent. The folks were friendly. However, I expected more information on the tour side.

A MUST DO IN DUBLIN!! I surprised my sister with this tour, and we absolutely loved it - we were so sad when it was over. Not only is the bus absolutely adorable, but the sweets are fantastic and the unlimited tea is delicious. Kaisa was a terrific storyteller, always making us laugh and enjoy the ride. Pat's driving was superb on even the tightest of roads. I will come back for this trip every time I'm in Dublin!

What a great idea, traditional afternoon tea on a 1960’s double decker bus driving through the streets of Dublin. The staff ( Katelynn, Caoimhe, Orla, and Smithy ) were so friendly and helpful, always with a smile and that great Irish wit. I didn’t want the tour to end ! It’s an absolute must do on your trip to Dublin

More About the Experience Than the Tour

Susan_L, May 2026
The tea bus tour was a fun and unique way to spend an afternoon in Dublin. The bus itself was absolutely darling, full of vintage charm, and the retro music playing throughout the ride added a really fun atmosphere. Our hostess was also incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made the experience feel warm and relaxed from the start. I will say that I expected a bit more narration and information about the city along the route, as there was less commentary than I anticipated. The seating was also not especially comfortable, although in fairness, it is a converted school bus, so that probably should have been expected going in. One pleasant surprise was the amount of food and snacks included — there was definitely more than I expected, and everything felt thoughtfully presented. Overall, while it was not quite the sightseeing experience I had imagined, it was still a charming and memorable outing with lots of personality.

Response from Host, Jun 2026

Thanks for your review Susan. Our tour is semi guided so the guests can chat whilst enjoying their afternoon tea and sweet treats. We're so glad you enjoyed it and our darling vintage route master bus. Thanks so much for coming on board :)

Fun and informative!

Dayne_F, May 2026
Fun and informative! A tour of the city in an old double decker bus decorated like a “biscuit tin”. They had the usual sweet and savory treats, along with a warm scone from their wee oven on board. Plus your choice of tea/juice.

Thanks for the review Dayne. We're delighted to hear you enjoyed our informative biscuit tin on wheels :) Thanks for coming on board.

Great trip with the Tea Tour!

Katherine_F, May 2026
We had a wonderful time on the Tea Tour!! I believe our tour guide's name was Caoimhe, and she and her staff were excellent! I liked her jokes and her knowledge was extensive. The food was great, and we were able to get excellent gluten-free food, despite signing up quite last minute! This was our first stop in Dublin, and it set the tone for the rest of the trip! The tour did end a little early, but I assume that's because we had less traffic than usual. Would have loved one more lap around if there was time, but totally understand it's planned for busier hours most likely. The decor was wonderful, and keeping the cups was such a treat! We were on the bottom level and could still enjoy and see everything just fine. Highly recommend!!

Response from Host, Jun 2026

It was our pleasure and we're delighted to hear you had a wonderful time and enjoyed our food, crew on board and the views of the city. Thanks so much for the review and recommendation and thanks for coming on board :)
