Walk by Dublin Castle’s upper and lower courtyards, Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, Christ Church Cathedral, and more, until you finally finish at Smithfield Square. Note that you don’t enter the churches and cathedrals, but you will hear stories about their dark pasts.

This trip was recommended by a friend who had taken it 2 weeks earlier. I was similarly impressed with Ciaran’s research into the history of the Dark stories of Dublin - and, impressed that some are more recent than you would think. Great delivery and super entertaining. Great tour! Guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Learned info about Dublin that you’d never learn on regular tours of the city. Wear a raincoat. It rained the majority of our tour, but apparently that’s normal for Dublin.

This fantastic tour was different than the traditional history tour. We heard stories and visited some of the darker sides of the city. Our guide kept us interested and intrigued throughout and really enjoyed the tour. I definitely would recommend it.

We had an amazing tour guide, Kim! She brought the experience to life with her amazing story telling and fun anecdotes. The tour provides you with a good insight on the history of the places visited while also not steering away from the darker aspects of the story; There was also plenty of laughs and excitement throughout the tour. My family enjoyed it immensely and definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Dublin! Kim was also insanely kind, providing us with recommendations on what to do in Dublin and in Ireland in general!

We took this tour with Hendrick and he was amazing! A historian and natural storyteller, he walked and talked for 2 hours and kept us enthralled the entire time. We heard stories spanning centuries and these gave us a greater sense of the city’s long and chaotic history. We heard legends and myths as well as true stories that were so creepy and scary that we just had to laugh so we wouldn’t run away! This was a wonderful tour and I highly recommend it.

Keron is an amazing storyteller! This walking tour takes you across a few points in Dublin where you hear about the paranormal activity, serial killers, and mythological figures. You'll definitely be going home with some amazing stories to tell. Highly recommend!

This tour was immensely interesting, and the time passed quickly. It was a great blend of historical recounting mixed with mythological beliefs sprinkled in, and an explanation of how the conflicts at the time set the backdrop to each grim event. The route was planned exceptionally well, ending a short distance from where it begins; the distance and terrain would be appropriate for anyone without mobility issues. The stories told on the tour were very interesting and ones I had never heard before.
I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in the topics of torture, killing, and some sinful history. Anyone who is a bit squeamish may want to skip this tour though, and opt for this company’s regular history tour.

This was a fantastic tour! We love taking ghost tours in different cities, and I loved that this was a walking tour instead of the bus offered in other options. Kieran (I think that was his name? I may have forgotten!) was so entertaining and engaging. He went beyond simply ghost stories to tell us more about the various nefarious goings on in historical Dublin. Loved that we got to see some of the most beautiful and important sites in the city and learn more about them. Though things got a bit dark, my 12 year old absolutely loved it. A healthy dose of humor helped. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone visiting the city!
