Ian was funny, amusing but above all, clearly knowledgeable about Dublin and its history. In fact he demonstrated his knowledge of the history of the whole island. We are from Belfast. He took care not to offend, which I suppose he had to. He needn’t have worried about us! His take on the whole troubles thing was excellent and probably what even more “angry” Northerners should hear. We had to leave the tour slightly early due to a dinner arrangement. But I’m definitely considering hijacking’s him when he comes out of Temple Bar some evening - just to hear the rest of it.

We had a lovely, leisurely walk through some of Dublins highlights. Karl was amazing! Answered all our questions and gave us some fascinating tidbits of Irish history. 10/10 would recommend! You should be prepared to walk and make sure you bring comfortable weather proof clothing.

Dan is a great tour guide. You can see how much he loves his country and city of Dublin. He is very good at weaving humor into his very informative tour. We are so glad we went for this tour. We learned a lot and feel much more connected to this wonderful city.

Interesting tour with friendly and engaged tour guide. I would say however that Dublin itself doesn’t necessarily have that many interesting places to see. So:
- if you want to do a tour this is a good one to do
- if you are on the fence about doing a tour then you can skip

Our guide was friendly and fun. He did a nice job acknowledging everyone at the start of the tour. Unfortunately I thought the tour was a bit boring. He rambled in a meandering way about historical events and kept drifting into extra side stories. We stood for half an hour in front of Dublin Castle, and the next half hour behind some pub. I left in the middle of the tour, and I felt a bit bad for the guide—he was doing his best!

This tour was absolutely fantastic. Our guide, Jenma was superb—knowledgeable, personable, and with a wonderful sense of humor. What stood out most was her genuine nature. She made the experience feel personal, not just informational.
She didn’t simply share history—she brought it to life, weaving in stories that we will never forget. It’s the kind of experience you simply can’t get from reading a book.

Well worth the time and money! It is a perfect overview of the region with great historical content. Our guide, Keith, brought the city to life with his depth of knowledge mixed with a bit of humor. Even as a walking tour, it wasn’t too taxing and the pace was just right.

This tour was far longer than it had to be, it was supposed to be only 2hrs and it went way over! If you have anything else to do after, you won’t make it. It was cold and rainy and he stopped for like 10-15 mins talking about some things that had nothing to do with the stops

Karl was witty and incredibly knowledgeable . He showed us the tourist highlights of Dublin and shared loads of stories and history about each. He was able to answer every question we asked and even gave us a list of some local restaurants and pubs he frequents (which all turned out to be great)! Would highly recommend.
