Our guide was Kerry, such an amazing, lovely, knowledgeable and enthusiastic person! She told us of the history of Cork and its old canals that made it known as the Venice of Ireland. Those canals are now the streets and alleys of Cork, which gives the city a quaint character. The English Market was amazing, with great samples of seafood and chocolate. We ended the tour at a lovely pub where we enjoyed cheeses and shared stories. A definite ‘must do’ in Cork!
Kerry our guide was the best!!! She was personable, actually very funny, and knowledgeable. She chose the best local places and food! Highly recommend
Excellent tour with Francis, nice mix of history, tasting amazing local foods and getting many great tips and recommendations for other days on our trip.
Francis was very personable, she made everyone in the group feel comfortable. A highlight was watching her interact with the local vendors in the market and the pride they take in their products.
I highly recommend booking this tour!

Kerry (our tour guide) was so personable and knowledgeable. Her enthusiasm about Cork and the food was infectious. We tried some delicious foods and had a wonderful day!
This is a must do if you’re going to Cork. We had a fabulous time learning about Cork and tasting many delicious foods. Kerry was very knowledgeable, funny and she truly loves what she doing.
This was a wonderful tour that was also a good introduction to the city of Cork. Our tour guide, Kerry, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. All of the foods were locally grown and prepared. They ranged from meats to seafood to cheeses to chocolates and Irish coffee. Give it a try if your cruise ship is in the vicinity!
If you do nothing else in Cork, you must do this tour. The history and traditional foods came alive with Kerry, born and raised in Cork, she knew so much about the history of cork it's culture. Every single vendor that we stopped at was tickled to see her -- and we really enjoyed listening to their local banter. Do not eat any food on your day before this tour as you will get an amazing sampling of treats. Our favorites were the Irish coffee at the first Pub and the family made sausage and potatoes with Ballymaloe relish at our first Food stop ( yes, trust me on this as I never eat American sausage, but I loved this sausage!) All the ingredients the vendors use are fresh, hormone and additive/ preservative free. And my husband said I need to mention the fresh seafood stop where he had wonderful oysters, smoked mackerel and prawns!
Besides the amazing food, our guide Kerry was the true highlight-- she loves Cork, and her enthusiasm is contagious. We shared some gossips and laughed alot. I was going to say that this was the best food tour we've ever done, but I think it stands out even more --as one of the better tours we've ever done (and we travel extensively.) Our hats off to Kerry, who covered so much in 3 hours. Our only regret is that we did not have enough time in Cork this trip. But we hope to return soon!

Great tour with a local guide. Our group was friendly and we tried a lot of great food at the market, and stopped at a few local pubs as well for flights and cheese platter. We loved learning about the history and culture of Cork. We definitely recommend this tour.

We had Kerry. Funny and knowledgeable and the food was outstanding! Great house made sausages. A pie to die for. Great seafood platter selection and cheese. Irish coffee was superb . But what really made the tour was Kerry the guide full of fun and wit.

This tour was great! Learning some history of Cork and the importance it served of supplying ships as they prepared to cross the Atlantic was enjoyable.
The food sampling was as even better. pie Guys is the best meat pie I’ve ever tasted. The oysters from the fish monger were the freshest and best I’ve had anywhere.

Our Tour Guide Kerry was so very knowledgable, kind, sweet, smart and funny. We all just loved being on tour of your beautiful Cork City.
Cork has an interesting history and wonderful food. Kerry did an outstanding job introducing us to the city and its rich culture. Best beef and Guinness pie in all of Ireland!

This tour is 5 star for the Guide and the quality of food samplings. Our guide Kerry, is a phenomenal human. She was incredibly generous with sharing many interesting facts about the city and what it was like to be raised in Cork. The food selected for the tour was so delicious that we went back to buy our own potluck dinner and dessert. You will be very full at the end of the tour as the sampling portions were substantial. Kerry's personal interaction with the vendors and the tour members made this time spent memorable. We have been fortunate to participate in no less than 20 food tours, throughout many countries, and Kerry made this Cork City Food Tour our favorite-to-date.

Spent the first hour learning the history of Cork, which was interesting. Then onto the food and drink! Sampled Irish coffee, stout ales, meat pies, oysters, prawns, sausages, chocolates, cheeses, and more. Great fun!

What a great craic we had with Gráinne! We ended up being the only ones on the tour and it felt like we explored Cork with an old friend. We ate and ate and ate… and drank and chatted and learned about the city. It’s a day we’ll never forget. Thanks again, Gráinne!

Our walking food tour with Celia was absolutely the highlight of our trip. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the local food and people. Celia took us to some fantastic pubs and through the English market. More than samples too - we left the tour absolutely stuffed after all the delicious food and drinks. Celia also gave us some great recommendations for more shopping and visiting around Cork. It was an unforgettable day!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience on this tour in Cork! Every stop offered something delicious, and I love getting to try such a great variety of local flavors. Our God Kate was exceptional - so knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely fun to talk to. She shared so many interesting stories and insights that really brought the city to life.
The whole day felt less like a tour and more like spending time with friends, enjoying great food and great company. I would highly recommend this experience!
