It was eye opening. We had a wonderful tour of Brú na Bóinne. Matt was knowledgeable, entertaining, and made the history come alive. I’d highly recommend this tour!
Victor was so knowledgeable and had that Irish sense of humor and gift for words. I felt safe with him driving us and delivering us safely to each stop and then home.
Driver Matt was very knowledgeable but a bit verbose (but that's just me and the rest of the bus tour enjoyed him). Newgrange was fantastic and well worth going as so much ancient history on show. Personally I could have done without the Boyne valley and monestary.

We really enjoyed Matt as our driver-guide; he is very personable and his commentary relayed a lot of information in an engaging manner. Brú na Bóinne is an impressive site; it's incredible to imagine neolithic peoples 5000 years ago put these together with the primitive stone tools they had, predating even Stonehenge. The OPW have organised the monuments and exhibits well. I just wish the visitor centre had a replica of Knowth's east passage tomb instead of Newgrange (which you already get to enter). From an itinerary perspective, I would have swapped out the rather unimpressive Monasterboice which isn't particularly impressive for the Hill of Tara.

Please book well in advance because tickets sell out fast. Take the tour with Matt if possible -he is awesome and prepared us for every step of the journey perfectly. Matt had great knowledge of the history which he conveyed both with humor and passion. It is an amazing site to explore and he brings the mystery and wonder to it all.

What a brilliant trip! So much history and a great opportunity to learn about the history of Ireland. Matt was a fountain of knowledge and very thorough with his instructions.
This was a highlight going to see the ancient Irish burial mounds and learning about them.

This was a fantastic tour during our time in Ireland. Newgrange and Knowth were absolutely amazing to see, and having a great guide at Knowth, Maeve, made the experience even better. She was incredibly knowledgeable and brought the history of the site to life.
Monasterboice was a wonderful surprise, especially seeing the field where victims of the Great Famine were buried. Kevin did an excellent job explaining its history and significance of the massive Celtic crosses.
Kevin was a knowledgeable, personable guide and did a great job keeping the tour on track, going through history and keeping on time while making sure everyone had enough time to enjoy each stop.
Highly recommend this tour—an excellent way to experience some of Ireland’s incredible history!

You don’t want to miss this! I wasn’t expecting to stand in a room built so long ago. Be aware that going into the room may not be for you if you are claustrophobic as the passage to get there is tight, but you are rewarded at the end! Unforgettable experience! Kevin was our driver/guide. His commentary was funny and informative. He did a great job.

Great day trip experience. The meeting spot was easy to find and has a cool "Dublin" sign for photos op while you wait. Our tour guide Matt was the best. Very attentive, informative and overall good guide personality. The return time was actually early but it depends on traffic. The time at each sight was sufficient to see everything. We got lucky and had no road issues there or back.

Excellent tour. Can't say enough. So impressive. New Grange is such an amazing ancient site !
Mellifont has some fascinating monastic ruins, and the High Crosses at Monasterboice are in such great shape to be that old and carved from sandstone.
Bucket list trip.
Viator needs to update their website because you go to Mellifont, not the Boyne Battlefield site.
Viator needs to mention although they do not provide food and drink they are available for purchase at New Grange.

Since this was a small tour it was easier to navigate. Visiting Newgrange was really cool! Plenty of time to view/explore and time to eat lunch which was helpful. We did not visit the Battle of Boyne due to it being closed for repairs but if I’m being honest, my partner and I didn’t not feel the visit was needed. Sometimes too many places make the day feel longer than needed. The Monastervoice was also a very good place.
