Next, head over to Guinness Storehouse, and also save time by skipping the lines and beating the crowds inside. Go through the Guiness experience with your guide leading the way. Afterward, make your way to the Gravity Bar on the top floor of the attraction to take in 360-degree views of the city while sipping on an included pint of Guiness.

We had one day in Dublin and we decided to do this tour and it was a great choice. The Jameson Distillery tour was very nicely done. Our guide at Jameson's was outstanding. The Guinness Storehouse is 180 degree different experience from Jameson's but equally nice. The Storehouse is massive and can be a little overwhelming but each floor has something great to offer. Our guide for the day was very nice and informative. I would highly recommend this tour if you are in Dublin.
Great Tour, lots to see and learn our Guide Noel was great, very knowledgeable and entertaining. A must do if you’re in Dublin. Wear comfy shoes!
This was a lot of fun even thought the weather did not cooperate very much. We found the walk to be just fine. The stop in Brazen Head was nice.
Our guide Rory was great! We went through the Jameson Distillery and had 3 samples at the end of the tour. Rory walked us down to Guinness while stopping at places along the way to tell us about the history of Ireland and how his mother would go to Belfast to buy Christmas presents because they were cheaper. Good childhood memories.
I can’t comment on Guinness as we arrived at 2:38pm and were told that the building was closing at 3pm for an event so we got our Guinness at the roof top bar and walked down to the gift shop. Rory didn’t know about the early closing.
I would go to Guinness again to actually see the exhibit.
We spent some time in Dublin for a friends wedding and were told we must check out the Jameson and Guiness Tours while in Ireland and they most certainly didn’t disappoint. We were lucky enough to have Niall as our tour guide for the entirety of the tour. His knowledge and storytelling are the absolute best and he made the experience so much better. He has a way of connecting with his customers to make them feel special. He deserves a raise to pay for his next marathon! Go Niall! The tour advertised 2 hrs at Jameson & Guinness each. We arrived 15 mins early, finally went inside 30 mins AFTER the original start time (standing outside in the cold, windy, sometimes rainy weather), got about a 45 min presentation at Jameson, standing the ENTIRE time. The Jameson employee was interesting and knowledgeable but you do not get a tour of anything. You do get a few small samples of different whiskeys. Rory, our Viator guide, then took us on a 25 min walk to the Guinness Storehouse. Along the way, he stopped on a street corner for 15-20 mins to give us the same exact history lesson every other Viator tour guide has given...more standing...in the rain. He did not point out anything of interest and it was impossible to hear him...there were 22 people in the tour group. I realize Viator has no control over the weather, but really... did he have to stop on a busy street corner, in the rain? We were prepared for the weather but others were not. When we reached Guinness, he got us inside quickly (that was nice), gave us our voucher for a "free" pint of Guinness, then abandoned us. The Storehouse is a nightmare. We made our way to the Gravity Bar at the top, had to stand the ENTIRE time as there is very little seating, and it was soooooo crowded you really couldn't appreciate the view. After standing and walking for the past 2.5 hours, no one in our group of 6 wanted to fight the crowds to try to see the rest of the Storehouse. So... basically we paid A LOT for a pint of Guinness and a few sips of whiskey (it was almost $1,000 USD for the 6 of us). Not worth it. I wish we had gone to both places on our own time and gotten some lunch in between to break up all the standing and walking. Really disappointing.

One of the best tours we have ever done. Sean was our guide and he did a fantastic job with the tour. Both Jameson and Guinness were spectacular. I highly recommend doing both. We learned a lot about both founding principles and how they shaped Ireland and its culture.

We struggled with this experience because I totally misinterpreted the physical challenge it was for us seniors. I for some reason thought we would be bussed from Jameson to Guinness: I specifically did not book the "walking tour." After standing in the distillery for an hour because there were no available seats, we were challenged to keep up with the group to walk to the storehouse. The guide offered to help us get a taxi but we thought we would be okay. We were kindly offered a wheelchair at the storehouse but my husband had never used one and was too embarrassed to try. We had to split off from the group at the storehouse because we couldn't keep up with the group. We just did not appreciate how physically challenging this tour was for older people.

However, I would skip the Guinness portion. There was about a 45 min walk between the 2, that we did not know about. I thought maybe I misread, but we were not the only people who did not know. Jameson tour was fantastic!

Tour was not taken as the Viking cruise we were on was unable to port in Dublin due to high seas, we would appreciate a refund or credit towards our next trip, but are unable to reach customer service to discuss our situation.

Everyone should be told the walking part of the tour is 1 1/2 hours of walking up and down hills. The in house tours of the Jameson building was excellent as well as the Guinness Storehouse part of the tour.

If you are looking for a tour where you do mostly walking around only partially hearing some random facts and a guide basically get walked from one place to another then this is the tour for you. The description and reality were 2 very different things.
The Jameson part of the tour was amazing because the guide in Jameson did a great job. Our “Viator” guide basically gave us a ticket to get inside. Took a bunch of pics for people and proof he walked us around. We spent a majority of over 4.5hrs standing around listening to some Dublin facts, language lesson etc. when we got to Guinness the same thing happened. He got us “tickets” and then you basically had a self guided tour except we were forced to stop multiple times for over 10-15 min. We were very disappointed on how expensive it was for what little we got that was Viator exclusive. I would enjoyed it more if I purchased tickets ahead and just went on my own terms. Wish I could get a refund. Waste of 140€

Fergus was our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining throughout the whole tour. We loved the Jameson tour and the tasting experience as well as the Guinness tour.
About a 25 minute walk between the two tour locations was not difficult and was part of the tour itself. Highly recommend this this tour!

The tour was more than we thought it would be. The walking historic tour inbetween the Jamieson Distillery and the Guiness Storehouse was really interesting. Our tour guide, Niall, was informative and funny.

Realize you are not going on a tour of a distillery or brewery. Neither Jamison’s or Guinness are brewed or bottled in either location. Nevertheless, you get a great bit of history of both storied brands with some libations as a reward. Richard is a great storyteller and you pick up quite a bit od the history of Dublin during the walk between the two locations. The Guiness Storehouse is something out of Willy Wonka. This was a great way to spend an afternoon in Dublin.

Emmett was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable about Dublin and he made sure that we got not only a taste of Jameson and Guinness but a bit of history as well. He really helped us get through the crowd of people who were also at Guinness. This tour required a lot of walking so be prepared.

Our tour started at the Jameson Distillery. That was very informative and fun. Our Jameson guide saw to that. We then walked to the Guinness brewery. We would stop along the way where our Viator tour guide , Emmet whould point out interesting facts about Dublin. He also added in some humor to keep things light and fun. Then we went to the Guinness brewery. Emmet gave the tour there. He was very knowledgeable about the facility and gave us an excellent tour. I would recommend this tour and our guide Emmitt to anyone visiting Dublin. Great job
