Nice experience, gets you up close to the heart of Dublin. A lot more walking than we expected, especially having come directly from the airport, but it was very good overall.
Amy_M, Mar 2026
Martin was a great guide and we learned so much about the history of Dublin and the making of whiskey and Guineas. We highly recommend this tour!
Nelly_M, Mar 2026
Sean was great, I highly recommend this tour. We learned so much about many different topics, this exceeded my expectations
Laura_W, Mar 2026
Sean was a great tour guide. He gave us so much information and perspective. I really liked Jamison because the tour group (even combined) was smaller and made the experience more intimate and less chaotic that Guinness. Izzy-at Jamison did and great job explaining their history and how to taste the whiskey. I would definitely recommend those tour to any adults!
johnlinessbcglobalne, Mar 2026
Guinness has a very commercialized-touristy vibe, but the pint and the view at the end was worth it. Jameson was a good tasting experience with lively hosts. Our tour guide fun and informative. We enjoyed her company. A lot of walking.
Patricia_M, Mar 2026
Fun day at the two manufacturers. Sean was a fabulous guide that had a wealth of knowledge and gave great color and context to the day.
Jennifer_G, Mar 2026
Great tour. Wish Guinness would’ve actually walk you through a brewing area. Great info, but not what expected. I did love getting my face printed on the Guinness though. Wish we had more time to do GuinnessAcademy- learn to pour your Guinness.
Jameson tour a little more personal with an actual person explaining process and what tastings were.
Our tour guide from Viator was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
Sarah_D, Mar 2026
Walking a lot but broken up in sections. Neil was informative and fun. Loved the history and pub stops!
Philip_O, Mar 2026
We had a wonderful tour guide, Mary. Brought so much fun energy and so informative. We had a great start to our trip!
Mellanie_S, Mar 2026
Our guide was awesome! He knew tons about the city, he was organized and kept everything moving! He is quite funny as well!
Steve_C, Mar 2026
We were extremely happy with both tours and with the additional Dublin City content Roger provided. He was a very knowledgeable guide and we enjoyed his sense of humor and personality. Highly recommend him!

Great tour of three Dublin institutions (Jameson, Brazen Head and Guinness). Lots of walking, so bring comfy shoes!
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you for the great review!
We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed exploring three of Dublin’s most iconic institutions — Jameson, The Brazen Head, and Guinness — it’s a fantastic combination of history, culture, and a bit of craic along the way.
And you’re absolutely right… Dublin likes to keep us on our toes! Comfortable shoes are definitely the unsung hero of a great walking tour, so we really appreciate you calling that out for future guests.
We hope to welcome you again soon on another LetzGo City Tours experience, whether back in Dublin or in any of our destinations across Europe and the USA!
James_F, Mar 2026
Jameson was great but a little disappointed at the Guinness Storehouse. Too many stair and way to crowded at the seventh floor observation deck.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you for your honest feedback — we really appreciate you taking the time to share it.
We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the Jameson experience — it’s always a highlight for many of our guests. We’re sorry to hear that the Guinness Storehouse didn’t quite meet expectations on the day, particularly with the crowds and the number of stairs at the Gravity Bar. As one of Dublin’s most popular attractions, it can get especially busy at peak times, which can impact the overall experience.
That said, we’re glad you were still able to take in the views from the top, and we truly value your perspective — it helps us continue to refine how we prepare guests for each part of the tour.
We hope to welcome you again on another LetzGo City Tours experience, whether in Dublin or across our destinations in Europe and the USA!

A wonderful visit to 2 Dublin landmarks, but be prepared, lots of stairs and steps to cross the city.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you for the lovely review. We’re so glad you enjoyed visiting two of Dublin’s iconic landmarks with us. Dublin certainly likes to keep things interesting with its streets, steps, and staircases, so that’s a very helpful note for future guests. We really appreciate you highlighting that.
We’re delighted you had a wonderful experience, and we hope to welcome you again soon on another LetzGo City Tours adventure in Dublin or in one of our other cities across Europe and the USA.
Susan_G, Mar 2026
Loved being able to do Jamesons and Guiness together with a short walk in between. I could have stayed at Jamesons forever. Glad i did Guiness but it was way tio big and way too crowded. Jameson’s was much more comfortable and just the right size. Make sire you get a picture of the huge chandelier made out of Jameson bottles.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
hank you for such a thoughtful and honest review!
We’re delighted to hear how much you enjoyed the Jameson experience — it really does have a more intimate and relaxed feel, and that chandelier is a showstopper (great tip for future guests 📸).
It’s also great to hear you appreciated being able to combine both Jameson and Guinness in one seamless experience with a short walk in between — it’s one of the things that makes this tour so special.
We completely understand your comments about the Guinness Storehouse — its scale and popularity can make it feel quite busy at times. We really appreciate you highlighting the contrast, as it’s helpful for future guests to know what to expect.
Thanks again for joining us, and we hope to welcome you back soon on another LetzGo City Tours experience — whether in Dublin or across our destinations throughout Europe and the USA!

We enjoyed our informative guide, Ferguson. He walked us through the city and gave us local recommendations that were fun and spot on. I would highly recommend for a rainy day in Dublin
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Nicole, thank you for the fantastic review!
We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed your time with Fergus — he’s a brilliant guide and really knows how to bring the city to life, rain or shine! It’s great to hear his local recommendations hit the mark too — that’s exactly the kind of insider knowledge we love sharing with our guests.
And fair play for embracing Dublin in the rain… arguably the most authentic way to experience the city! ☔️
We truly appreciate the recommendation and hope to welcome you again on another LetzGo City Tours experience, whether back in Dublin or in any of our destinations across Europe and the USA.

I had a fantastic and very drunken experience doing this tour lol I love Sean! He was very knowledgeable, has crazy hair, and felt like my best friend during the tour. I love the Jameson tour more than the Guinness. Highly recommend for a solo traveler.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Hello, We’re absolutely delighted you had such a fantastic (and let’s say… “well-hydrated”) experience! Sean will be thrilled to hear he’s been promoted to best friend status — his knowledge, energy, and yes… the legendary hair… tend to have that effect on people.
Great shout as well on the Jameson experience — it does have that perfect mix of storytelling, atmosphere, and just the right amount of “sampling” to win people over!
And fair play for doing it solo — there’s no better way to meet great people, learn a lot, and possibly forget just enough
Thanks a million for the recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back again soon for round two… purely for educational purposes, of course!

JOHN_E, Mar 2026
Long winding walk thru the city neighborhoods before you ever get to tour Guinness or Jamison both very crowded

Sean was an amazing guide. He is a professional storyteller which made the experience even more spectacular. Both Jameson and Guinness are a must do when visiting Dublin. This is a walking tour so wear comfortable shoes. Being able to skip the line is well worth it.
Jason_F, Mar 2026
This is a great tour. Emmet was a fantastic guide, full of knowledge about whiskey and Irish history. Better than the corporate guides at either site, he’ll give you the real history and interesting stories in between.
Randy_R, Mar 2026
Three separate stages; the distillery; then the guided walk to Guinness- with lots of insightful commentary on a wide range of landmarks and Irish history- and then the Guinness Brewery- which is so far one of my top highlights of visiting Ireland. Our tour guide - Emmet - was articulate and highly personable, and a veritable encyclopedia of anything and everything Irish - he was at 10 out of 10 for enhancing the whole experience
MaryBeth_R, Mar 2026
Rory was our guide and we had a blast with him. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic. It was an added bonus that we learned additional info and stopped at a few other sites along our travels to snap a photo or learn about the site. I would highly recommend this tour.
Vaishali_D, Mar 2026
Rory was great 👍 he was very funny and engaged the whole group. It was a very fun tour of jameson & guinness.
David_L, Mar 2026

And we couldn’t agree more about Alan “Yellow Hat”! 🟡 He certainly makes an impression (that hat is hard to miss!) and we’re so glad you enjoyed his friendly nature and knowledgeable storytelling. Alan has a fantastic way of bringing the history to life while keeping everything engaging and fun.
We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. If your travels bring you back again, we’d love to welcome you on another adventure — whether here in Ireland, across Europe, or even on one of our tours in the USA!

A bit of a walk but well worth the free drinks called the knowledge. My guy was Emmett who knew so much about Irish whiskey and Guinness. Thought I knew whiskey until Emmett and of course our Jamison guide. Emmet, a loyal Liberrties man, knows his Irish history. He was a pleasure and I would highly recommend it
Response from Host, Feb 2026
John, thank you for the fantastic review! We love that you mentioned “the Knowledge” — a little walking, but a lot of reward at the end.
We’re especially delighted to hear how much you enjoyed Emmett. A proud Liberties man through and through, his passion for Irish history, whiskey, and Guinness always shines through. And you’re absolutely right — even seasoned whiskey fans tend to learn something new when touring with him (and our excellent Jameson distillery team!).
We’ll be sure to pass along your kind words — he’ll be thrilled.
We’d also love to welcome you again on one of our tours across Ireland, Europe, or the USA — and don’t forget our incredible 5-star rated food tours (including our guest-favourite experience in Florence!).
Sláinte,
The Team
