We just finished the Saint-Émilion wine tasting and tour hosted by Eloïse, and it was a fantastic experience. Eloïse was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and a joy to spend the day with. We brought our four-year-old daughter along, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that they had thoughtfully arranged for her to enjoy a grape juice tasting alongside the wine tasting. It was such a wonderful touch that made our entire family feel included. The guided walk through the beautiful town of Saint-Émilion was fascinating, filled with rich history, stunning architecture, and, of course, an appreciation for the region’s exceptional wines. Amazing tour!

We learned so much about the regional wines, wine-making in general, and why vintages can vary so much year to year. The tour included the beautiful village of St Emilio, including some free time there. Francois was a fantastic guide (an accomplished sommelier), who was keenly interested in sharing his knowledge. Good wines, good vibes

What a great tour! Relaxed, as much info as you cared to absorb, and of course, delicious wines to taste. We went to 2 small champagne houses, farms really, and walked through their caves, ending with a tasting, about 3 different wines in each maison. Our guide/driver Adam was great, knowledgeable and charming, and really cared about the wines and the people who produce them. He adapted to the questions our particular group brought. We were a small group of 5, with different palates and from different places, which only added to the experience. The little minivan was comfortable and nicely air-conditioned on a very hot day. The drive through the countryside and vineyards was classically beautiful. The two champagne houses were similar in size, but the champagnes were very different in flavor - so interesting. The big champagne houses are also impressive, but this kind of tour is more like being invited into someone's home. My only regret is not being able to take a bunch of champagne bottles home with me. Highly recommended tour! Extra note: my train was incredibly delayed from Paris. I was able to text - via the Viator website I connected with the local company running the tour, who connected with Adam (guide/driver). They somehow managed to rendezvous with me one station prior to downtown Reims, with everyone else already in the minivan, and I didn't miss a moment of the tour. Really excellent customer service! They were totally pleasant and supportive about the whole thing, not stressed out. Merci 1000 fois!

Relaxing tour

Very nice tour. Violette was our guide and she was very informative. We were picked up in a Mercedes van which was clean and air conditioned. Violette used a microphone so that people in the back seat could hear her. The wineries were generous with both their time and their wine and there was time to purchase wine before leaving. Well worth the time.

Excellent Tour

This was a great afternoon spent in the Champagne region visting villages & local winegrowers who are more than willing to share their knowledge & passion of Champagne. Our guide Suzanne was excellent, she is a local french woman who spoke very good English, had a good sense of humour & a working knowledge of the Champagne. It was good to be in a small group (max of 8) and my husband who doesnt drink champagne really enjoyed this tour & said he'd recommend it. Tips be prepared for the weather eg hat & sunblock if hot + take water/drink & snacks as their isn't any available on the tour other than 6 glasses of very delicious champagne.

The champagne was flowing! Melanie was a great host, pointing out the sites, sharing details on the three types of champagne, and answering all questions. Normally a tour like this would be a small taste of champagne, but this was not the case! There was never and empty glass during the one hour tour.
